Chapter 6

Hannah POV

I can't believe Peter. He kills my brother and then takes me away from the only people who can really protect me.

I hate being here. I have to do what he'll say otherwise something bad could happen.

"Whos that?" I hear someone shout outside,

I decide to open the door and walk out to see what is going on.

"Get inside Hannah it's not safe" James says pointing to the tent. But I stay where I am. I can't see peter anywhere so I'm guessing he handling this error.

All of a sudden James stomps up to me and says

"Get back in the tent NOW. That's an order".

"What's going on?" I say.

"There's a boy on the island and Peters gone looking for him, but we don't know whether he's safe or not so we need to be on alert which is why you need to stay in the tent. Peter will be back in a minute" James replies.

Suddenly we hear three gun shots and then shouting. Daniel is storming into the camp dragging a boy behind him".

I try to get a look at the boy but I can't see him.

"Did anyone get hurt?" I ask Sam who was also with Daniel.

"No we fired the gun in the air to warn him and then hit him over the head" Sam says.

"What did I miss" peter shouts.

"We got him" Daniel says.

Peter looks at him then at me and says "what's she doing out?".

"Sorry Peter she wouldn't go back in" James says. Peter nods then turns to the boy. Hey walks up to him and punches him in the face.

I can't watch this, this isn't right.

"Who are you?" Peter asks.

The boy doesn't reply so Peter punches him five times.

"Stop" I scream. I run in front of the boy protecting him from Peter.

"Step aside Hannah" Peter says. But I don't move. Instead I turn around pick up a clean towel and start to wipe he blood from his face.

"Hello I'm Hannah what's your name?" I ask kindly.

"Richard" he murmurs.

"Hello Richard, how old are you?" I ask.

"19" he replies.

"And how did you get here?" I ask calmly.

"I was abandoned by my crew, I'm a pirate".

"And who was your captain?" I ask curiously.

"A man called Hook, I was just getting a ride somewhere and he said he would take me but when we stopped at this island he left me here" Richard says.

"How strange, the same thing happened to me and with the same person" I say smiling.

"How long have you been here for?' Richard asks.

"About 6 months now" I say.

"And what about him" Richard says referring to Peter.

"I've been here for 12 years" Peter says.

"And how old are you?" Richard asks.

"18" Peter says.

"Well now that we've cleared that if someone would be so kind to untie Richard so we can take him into a tent to clear him up. He's no threat" I say.

Daniel walks over to untie him but Peter stops him.

"How come you will talk to Hannah but not me" Peter asks Richard.

"Because she looks friendlier and took the nicer approach" Richard says. Peter nods and untied him.

I then lead Richard to a different tent.
