Once Upon A Pan

Chapter 3

Peter POV

I wake up with the bright morning sun shining on my face.

The lost boys are making breakfast so I'm gonna go for a fly!

I flew around the whole island when I gazed upon a boat and some people on the beach.

When I landed on the ground I decided to hide behind a bush to see what is going on.

I see a girl being held back by some crew members on the boat.

I wonder what she did?

She screams "let go of me".

The captain looks at her sadly and then says "I'm sorry Hannah" and punches her like four times. It looks really painful.

She falls to the ground so I'm guessing she's been knocked out. They grab their boats and row back to the main ship.

A couple of minutes later the girl who was knocked out awoke and stood up. Saw that she had been left behind, turns around and trudges into the jungle.

I'm going to follow her, see where she goes and then when the time is right, I'll talk to her.

"Peter breakfast is ready" James(one of the lost boys) says.

I can't decide whether I should follow the girl or have some food.

"Okay" I say.

I'll find her in seconds anyway and my food could get cold.

I make my way back to our camp and take a perch on my log and wait for my food to be handed to me.

I am the leader of this camp so I'll get the food first luckily.

As I put the first mouthful into my mouth I get so hungry. It's delicious.

When everyone's finished eating James collects the bowls and starts washing them up.

"Where did you go Pan" Dan( another lost boy) asks.

"Exploring the island. I thought it would be good to fly a little" I say.

"Did you see anything or anyone?" Dan asks.

"I saw a ship but it wasn't approaching the island it was heading the other way" I say lying to the lost boys. I would tell them the truth but they would probably get really worried and that's the last thing I want right at this moment.

I won't tell them about the girl yet either but I know they'll find out sooner or later by me or by her or maybe even by 'the crown".

"But just to make sure I'm going to go and search the island you guys stay here I'll be back soon" I say.

"Take this, in case you get hungry" James says chucking me three pieces of bread.

"Thanks James. Sam could you go clean the beds especially mine please" I order. "Yes Pan" Sam says wondering off.

Sam is our cleaner. I don't think he likes his job as he ran to this island to get away from doing chores but at least he has a part in our camp. He's very lucky.

I head out into the forest and fly to the place I saw her and then I'll work from there around the island.

I love adventures but I'm not sure about this girl. She seems like trouble and that's not good on this island.

I wonder whether she'll meet any of 'the crown'. They are a group of people who live on the island other than myself and the lost boys.

We are arch enemies. We have history and I always win.

They own a quarter of Neverland of which I cannot enter and if I do I will be powerless.

The magic I have is three times better than theirs and their magic is known to the the most powerful magic in the world.

I am the most powerful person in the whole world.

Sadly most people who've heard of me say I'm a bad guy and use it for bad but in my opinion I use it in the way I think is right (which is pretty cruel but I don't care) and nobody likes that.

All of a sudden I spot someone and the closer I get the more I know it's the girl who was on the beach. I've found her and now I'm going to find out exactly who she is.
