Once Upon A Pan

Chapter 10

Richard POV

I reach the bottom of the mountains and find a not saying 'Richard head up the mountain to the first cave and I'll be waiting for you'.

I read it carefully then head up the mountain.

About 10 minutes later I reach the first cave. I walk in and go to another note saying 'do the secret sign so I know it's you Richard'.

I clap twice, I stamp on the floor twice and the say 'assignment Peter and Hannah'.

A group of people then came out and Jamie (my boss) came up to me and says "hello Richard what have you got?".

"He's as ruthless as we've heard also he's in love with Hannah which makes our mission even harder as she is our mission" I say.

"You need to go back down there and find out more about her and Peter" Jamie orders.

"Okay but Peter gets suspicious and he's beaten me up a couple of times so I need to be fast" I say.

"Good, we'll see you in around 2-3 weeks".

"Great by the way what do I tell Peter, Hannah and the lost boys for me going missing?".

"Just say you needed to stretch your legs and clear your head" Jamie says.

Then they disappear.

I head back down the mountain and within 15 minutes I'm at the camp.

Hannah POV

I'm sitting on a log thinking 'what is Pan going to do to Richard if he finds him?", maybe I should go looking for him'.

As I'm thinking about this Richard comes strolling in.

I run up to him and jump on him giving him a loving hug.

He smiles and says "how long was I gone for?".

"Long enough" I say.

Peter then walks out of his tent and walks strait towards Richard.

I put myself in front of Richard to stop Peter from hurting him.

"Move Hannah" Peter demands standing in front of us.

"No Peter I won't let you hurt him" I say.

Peter walks up towards us and moves me from I front of him to behind him in a blink of an eye.

He's hitting Richard now and he's just about to use all of his power when I grab onto his arm.

He tries to push me off but I won't let go.

All of a sudden in anger he punches me and everything goes black.

About 5 minutes later I wake up to Richards voice.

"Are you okay?" Richard asks sweetly.

"Yeah,what happened?" I ask curiously.

"Well you grabbed Peters arm to stop him from killing me and then he punched you and knocked you out.

After that I carried you into my tent and put you down here.

I told Peter that I just needed to clear my head so I wouldn't make any mistakes again and he let me go and wait for you to wake up.

Then I came in about 30 seconds ago and you woke up" Richard explains.

"Okay" I say. I'm speechless that Peter even hit me.

Peter then enters the tent and says "could you give us a minute?".

"Sure" Richard says walking out.

"I'm so sorry about earlier, I was angry I didn't mean it" Peter cries.

"What's done is done I'm going to get some rest" I say and shut my eyes.

"Okay sleep well" Peter says leaving me to my thoughts.

I sit in Richards bed for a bit thinking about what happened then I wondered, where did Richard go?, is he lying to me?.

With those thoughts I drift off to sleep.
