Chapter 10: The Hidden Illness

Mingrui's POV

We brought Y/N to the hospital and called her parents, I am at the hospital right now, sitting at the seats. Y/N's parents are in her room, the doctors said it was true that she had a heart disease.

Its getting dark so I decided to go home, I have a plan that everyday when it's afterschool, I'm going to visit Y/N and bring tulips.

I'm in my classroom, I saw Xinlong walking towards me

Xinlong: Hey...I heard Y/N was brought to the infirmary yesterday, and now she didn't go to school, i'm curious.

Mingrui: I'll be expecting that you won't tell this to anyone or it'll lead to a bunch of trouble.

Xinlong: Alright?

Mingrui: Y/N has a heart disease. *Whisper*

Xinlong: What? Really?! Why didn't she tell us?

Mingrui: I don't know...and she's at the hospital.

Xinlong: Please visit her everyday and update me what's happening, okay?

Mingrui: Why won't you just come with me to visit her?

Xinlong: It's obvious that my mom won't allow me.

Mingrui: And why's that?

Xinlong: I'll just visit the hospital whenever it's a family member who had a accident or anything.

Mingrui: Right.

Suzy: Hey boys...what are you talking about?

Xinlong: N-nothing.

Mingrui: We can tell her, besides, you won't tell this to anyone alright?

Suzy: I'm curious

Xinlong: Say promise!

Suzy: Okay okay, I promise. *roll eyes*

Mingrui: Well, Y/N has a heart disease. That's why she didn't go to school today

Xinlong: Why the freak are you smiling?

Suzy: Oh um, it's nothing, it's just I remembered something, so...Y/N will be staying at the hospital for months?

Mingrui: I think so,

Mingrui: But everyday, I'll visit her at the hospital

Mingrui: Wanna come with me later?

Suzy: No, just update me. I don't want to see that bitch, or else I can't control myself to beat the shit out of that slut.

Mingrui: Alright, I'll update you but you mumbled something after that, what was that again? I couldn't hear it.

Suzy: Nothing important...

Xinlong: i'm freakin serious, Mingrui. Yesterday, I saw Y/N and Suzy talking, I saw fearness in Y/N's eyes, it looks like Suzy fought with her. And then, I heard her mumble just now that she will beat the sh*t out of Y/N.

Mingrui: I don't believe you, Suzy is such a nice person. Why would she do that sort of thing?

Xinlong: I won't force you, Mingrui. But... Thank me later. *Walks away*
