Silas
I was busy helping in the kitchen when Aggele mou strolled in and greeted Luke and I with a smile. "Hey, stuck with kitchen duty again?" Her beautiful voice rang out playfully. "Well with you here Aggele it's hardly being stuck." I waggle my brows at her, getting an adorable snort in return. "Yeah well I can't stay, sorry to disappoint." She huffed back as I frowned. She seemed a bit hostile in her tone but I couldn't figure out why, before I could ask Luke did for me. "Cupcake what's got you in a sour mood?" Luke pouted out.
"Well I got to meet one of the single birds you've got hanging around and she didn't exactly make the best impression." She snarls out. "What happened?" I frown in worry. Other than Jess there were only two other single female residents, and I wasn't eager for her to meet either, but one was a bit more worrisome than the other. "Well she went and bad mouthed Jess and so I put her in her place and I might have threatened her with a slight promise. Something along the lines of lots of land and me being good at hiding things in the woods, I really do not like that stupid bimbo Jade." Her growl had me fighting back a wince, of all the people here, she would have to meet Jade before the others.
I was going to have to alert the others of their quarrel, and prepare North for the possible fallout after she learned of our personal history with the vile bird. "Sorry to hear that, so if you're not staying what did you need Cupcake?" Luke asked as he sent a quick glance my way. "Well it appears Jess and I will be spending the night in the barn because two of the does are about to give birth. Jess was a bit worried about them so I brought up the campout in the barn idea, now I have to collect enough food for our lunch and dinner." She sighed out. "Which ones are giving birth?" I voiced curiously, pushing my other worries away for now.
"Licorice the black colored doe and Sadie the chocolate colored sweetie." She responds easily as Luke gets a box to fill with food for the two girls and Arrow. "When did they get names?" Luke chuckles out. "The day after we got here, Jess was very insistent about it." She smiles softly, the affection she has for little Jess seems almost motherly. "You two get along really well, don't you Aggele." I murmur as she smiles up at me. "She's a great kid, and a good friend, Kota is lucky to have a sister like her." She sighs out.
"Well Cupcake this should last you for the rest of today, when we get done maybe we can stop by the barn and check in." Luke grins as he hands her the box and she thanks him quickly. "If you want to stop by it's fine, you might even get lucky enough to see the new babies. I'd better get back before Jess starts to worry about me instead of the goats, see you later boys!" She called a quick goodbye before hurrying back out with Arrow at her heels. "Her and Jade, that would have been something to see." Luke shakes his head at the thought, and I can't help but agree with that small fact.
"This might cause problems for us later though." I frown at the thought. "You and North had better figure something out fast because Cupcake isn't stupid, she's going to connect the dots sooner or later about the three of you. It might not have lasted long but you guys did have a thing with her. There's just no telling how things are going to go down once they both figure out what the other is or was to both of you." Luke chuckled out.
"It's sure to be something, I just hope that Aggele will forgive us." I sigh out. "I'd be a bit more worried about what she'll do to Jade, if she already hates her that much without knowing the details we might have to keep them both apart to avoid anyone getting murdered." Luke stated and I easily agreed. This was going to be a difficult situation to explain but a good start would be to keep far away from the vile bird and show Aggele just how much more she meant to us than Jade ever could.
