The wedding

I woke up with fractions of memories from the night before & I had a insane hangover because I drank on an empty stomach & was super dehydrated as well due to lack of water in my body "wake up" Julie shook me as I opened my weary eyes.

"What time is it?" I questioned "its already 10 in the morning" she looked down on me.

"Ahhh...my head" I complained as I reached out for the water bottle nearby & chugged it down, my throat was as dry as the Sahara "What happened?" I asked her.

"You were wasted" she told me.

"Heh. Really?" I mumbled.

"Yes, you were & Francisco got the information you wanted" she looked at me.

"What information?" I questioned confusingly.

"About Santiago & the lady" she reminded me, I totally forgot I was in Miami.

"Oh" I responded bluntly as I leaned on the wall.

"She's Yovanna, a Colombian after you left Santiago he was really broken & then he met Yovanna one night at the bar & they kind of hit it off...but look they are not dating or together, they are just you know spending time" she told me.

"Okay, I get it" I rolled my eyes.

"So, no worries" she assured.

"I'm out here haunted by his memories, while he's out there hooking up with this Yovanna...do you think I don't have a problem with that" I folded my arms "you were the one who left him heartbroken, not him" she said.

"Okay! So you're supporting him" I shrugged.

"Stassi, you left him in dilemma for the past three years & let me remind you, you dated two men at that period of time & hooked up with some other couple of people...while he was hoping & waiting to see you again one day & then you meet after three years & you leave again so, he just thought you guys were done for good & so he's with a girl...why does that matter it's not like he loves her, you guys aren't even dating or even dated. You are being selfish again" she looked at me annoyingly.

"I know what you're saying but I'm losing hope, I think this is a bad decision" I told her.

"Can you stop thinking" she hissed "look you came all this way for him so, tell him what he really wants to hear...he loves you" she mentioned.

"We are better off apart, then together" I said slowly "now who even told you that, you guys are epic together...he saved your fucking life, tell me the name of a person who did that for you...do you think anyone will take a bullet for you in the middle of nowhere" she said.

"But" I murmured "no buts, you are insane Stassi! you can't see it but I can...do you want to end up in life losing the one person who loves you to death & let his memory haunt you for the rest of your life or you want to admit that you need him, like he needs you because if you guys are not together neither he nor you will be ever truly happy in life, he can get all the girls he like & you can get all the boys you want but none of them will fill the hole you guys left in each other lives because god damn it...who has a love story like yours meeting in the middle of a drug war & falling in love, this is the most amazing love story of all times" she looked at me.
