The capital

The very next day we all had to catch an early morning flight back to the capital, while my brother & his newly wedded bride left for the Bahamas. I stood outside the airport yawning as I grabbed hold of my dad's arm, I saw Francisco at a distance & Santiago was with him as well. I didn't know what he was doing here but I was glad he was here with us, I tried to ignore them acting as if I've not seen them because I didn't want anyone to find out about us. I wore my sunnies & pretended to be half asleep the whole journey until we landed back to Bogota. My parents booked a cab for us to drive us back to the hotel, as me & Julie stood there waiting I craved an espresso to open my weary eyes.

"You're good you know" I heard him behind me, I rolled my eyes as I turned around "can you please stop, with the surprises".

"Well, I'm more surprised at you" he smirked.

"Mom alert!" Julie warned as she saw my mom waving at us.

"Got to go" I muttered as I turned to the direction mom was "See you, I guess" he murmured as we walked away.

"I don't know what's up with you & Santiago or pope or whoever his name is, but there's more than what meets the eye" Julie said as we sat in the car.

"Can you please stop, my parents are here" I scoffed but my parents were in their own world, thankfully not eavesdropping.

"So tomorrow, the family wants to take us sight seeing" mom mentioned.

"Mom, I thought we were heading back home after the wedding...when did you guys suddenly made plans to stay for some more days" I said as she turned around.

"You know, I've taken a week leave for this wedding so I'm planning to make the full use of my holiday" mom reminded me.

"And this is our first time in Colombia" dad mentioned "I know dad but you know what will be better, you & mom going on with your little sight seeing while.....we the kids have a stroll around the town" I chuckled as I rubbed their shoulders.

"Fine, go ahead & enjoy all on your own ladies" dad chuckled as he gave us his permission to do as we like as he & mom planed their own trip.

"Thank you" Julie whispered as I sunk back into my seat & smirked. After we reached the hotel room I was literally napping for the past two hours, until Julie woke me up from my slumber "wake up" she shook me.

"What?" I grumbled as I looked up at her.

"We are meeting the guys, for lunch" she looked down on me.

"Which guys?" I growled as I sat on the bed.

"Francisco & Santiago" she mentioned.

"What? When did you guys even plan" I asked her confusingly "just five minutes ago, now dress up" she said as she opened her trolley looking for an outfit.

"Really?" she looked at me as I wore my skinny blue high waist jeans.

"Hey, I want to be comfy" I looked at her.

"Why don't you wear a dress instead" she said.

"No, thank you" I frowned as I put on my white sleeve less crop top & combed my long hair.
