09 | Friendship

"I'm not eating human food" He whispered to my ear from my back, protesting.

"Hush!" I glared at him. "Thank you" I smiled to the worker at the canteen for putting food in my tray. Is it just me? The ajummas looks like Lee Seunghoon from Winner and Bigbang's Daesung.

"Lisa," I called the girl in front of me. "It's bulgogi!" I giggled and she smiled brightly.

"Yeay!" She loves bulgogi. Then we managed to find a seat for the group. I sat in between of Jisoo and Hanbin, Jiyong is in front of me.

"You said you never saw me eat real food, right?"

Jiyong looked up at me, he just know that's his line. "That's because you never came here and watch me eat!" I'm smiling sweetly before I know it, stuffing my mouth with human food. He react with a scoffed and a smirked that almost looks like a smile.

"Why aren't you eating, Hanbin?" Chaeyong who's sitting in of him ask. Every single person at the table were looking at him. He didn't even touch his food.

"Yeah yeah, I will" He grabbed the spoon, smiling at us. Looks like he's going to break his own rule. Haha! This is fun to watch.

Then everyone just focus on their own food while I'm still looking at him.

Him, who is yet hesitating either to eat or not. He turned to me, looking at me with that begging eyes. I raised my eyebrows, smirking and eat, giving the this-is-how-I-eat-bitch look. Then he shook his head, not wanting too.

I grabbed the back of his neck, mouthing 'eat' with an angry looks. You're going to eat that or you'll die in my hand. It's about time for you to start eating human food and get used to it.

But trust me, I never get used to it.

Whatever! It's now or never, Hanbin. "Aghh!!" He let go of the spoon, suddenly groaning in pain. I pulled my hand from him immediately.

What? What? Is it because of me? "Agh!" He groaned again, holding his stomach, already grabbing everyone attention.

"Sorry, but I have to go to the toilet. I think I ate rotten eggs this morning" He stood up and left. Rotten eggs? At that moment I knew he's lying. Only to get away from human food. There he goes again, always good at acting. Everyone just laughed at his good acting, they probably fooled.

"That rascal" I muttered between my laugh.

About 10 minutes later, he came back, drinking his grape juice casually on his way to the table. "Wow! That's feel better" He said as he took the seat.

"What about your food? Are you going to eat that?" Lisa asked cutely, biting the tip of the chopsticks as if she's still hungry.

"Sure can! I'm so not into human food" He pushed the tray with a smile. It took him a while before he realized the rest were staring at him weirdly, me as well.

What the hell, Hanbin! Do you even think before you talk?

I bumped my arm with his, making it not so obvious. "I mean, I'm not so into meat" He grinned, trying to fix the sudden mess. "I'm vegetarian" He added.

And they reaction are like "Ohhh"

Phew.

-1 month later-

We became really close to each others now. We're more comfortable with each others now. We're best friends.

Me, Hanbin and Jiyong go to school and back home together, taking the same bus since we live nearby; of course not to Hanbin because he just come to my house whenever he want, my family always welcomed him, especially my mom.

Sometimes it just me and Jiyong, walking side to side, with random yet interesting chit chat. He's great, probably the sweetest guy I ever met, if I remove Hanbin in list since he's non-human.

We always eat together. It just great. Hanbin still missing after taking the meals with some nonsense excuses, we used to it. Or sometimes he just gone, we didn't even realize when. And the girls would share Hanbin's meal, they always hungry, just cute. Everyone think he's funny while I think he's stupid. Yeah, of course, still funny.

Jisoo, she's the kindest. The cutest. She always clinging to me, I feel so loved. I always study with her since she help me a lot. I guess it's true when people said she's a genius. She ace in every subject and one of the Top 5 student. Love it when she call my name with that nasal voice. Cry baby.

Lisa, the weirdest human being. Her bangs is her main charm, don't you dare touching them. Loud af. Hahaha! Yeah, that's our Lisa. Her laugh issa mood, I laugh everytime she laugh. Always picking on Hanbin, they fought a lot. Loves food.

Chaeyong, the graceful pretty girl. Caring girl. Don't make me start talking about her angelic voice. Fluent English speaker, yeah girl! Always whining to me to buy her sweets at the store. She love pink.

Hanbin, do I have to talk about him? I bet you already know a lot. Okay, okay, I'll tell. Chaeyong loves his not-even-trying jokes. He's famous now. Every girl literally have crush on him but he don't give a fuck. I'll just say this girls, don't get fooled by that handsome face. He's something.

Last but not least, Jiyong. He's head still red. He still quite and shy sometimes. He's still good to me. He's still smell sweet. We still going to the rooftop when there's a chance. He's still handsome. He's still making my heart flutter. I don't know how to explain. I just like him. I'm just not sure as what.

Time sure flies. We made a lot of progression. We made a lot memories. We laughed and smiled together, walking through the flower road together.

"Let's go eat, guys!" Lisa stood up first. Told you, she's loud. I closed my book, getting ready. God, Chaeyong looked so excited, she's already running outside. Me and Jiyong stood up. And then the smiling girl, Jisoo. Hanbin stood up while yawning and streaching. He's not eating but he's coming anyway. It's okay, Lisa and Chaeyong need his food.

I can't describe how happy am I having these friends. This is a lot better than I expected. I'm just thankful. I wish our friendship last forever.
