29 | Arrest

[ Hanbin's POV ]

"Jennie, I'm home" I yawned as I entered the house after what happened with me and Jiyong.

I must be crazy. Thank godness her sister was there. I think he's dead by now if she didn't come.

Rose blood is so something. It really drives me crazy.

"Hanbin, go" I looked into Jennie's puffy and red eyes. Did she cry? "What?" I asked confusedly. Did I do something wrong to her.

"Go!" She shouted.

I heard another footsteps in the house, something rustling at the kitchen. I sensed danger.

"Go" Jennie sobbed.

I took a few step back to the door, slowly and steadily, one at a time. "I'm not leaving without you" I mouthed to her as she shook her head.

I quickly opened the front door, "Uncle!" I smiled widely. "Good to see you! I'm in danger, help me!" I asked but he only looked at me calmly.

"Wait, how did you found me--"

He pushed me inside and I fell on the wooden floor. "Arrest him!" He shouted.

Three men came out from somewhere in my house, with a tazer gun. My uncle all behind this.

I got up instantly and kicked one of them. The other two grabbed my arms and I flipped them to the front, using my vampire power.

"Kim Hanbin! Stop!"

I turned to the direction of my uncle's voice, the same direction of where Jennie is standing.

"Okay.." I raised my hand in the air when I saw him placing a tazer on her neck.

Come on, uncle! You're a nice person! Why are you doing this?

"Kim Hanbin, you're under arrest" He said and one of the men cuffed my hand behind me, same as Jennie.

I sighed heavily, "Can I at least know why?" I smiled awkwardly. He's my uncle after all. I know him, he's probably joking right now, right?

"No"

I scoffed at him. Which question is he answering? As if he can read my mind. Gosh, I'm so stupid.

He put the two of us on the sofa as he go through the file.

"Is this a prank?" I whispered at Jennie and I knew the answer is no when she gave me that what-the-fuck? looks.

"Did you let them in?" I asked more. "No! I let that guy in because he said he's your uncle" She replied. Look, I'm not blaming you why you sound so defensive, cute girl?

"So you let them in?"

"I told you! I ONLY let your uncle in. Your uncle let THEM in"

"Why you let him in?"

"Because he's your uncle! Is he really your uncle?"

"Yes, he is! He's a scientist, a bookworn, a nerd! I don't even know why he's doing this. He should doing some research right now"

"Oh yeah? I think he's doing research how to kill us!"

"Shut up you two! How old are you? Six?" My uncle stopped our bickering that found meaningless.

"Now confess your sin" He ordered. What? The fuck? What is this? Church?

"Does house trespassing considered as sin?" I asked jokingly as Jennie trying hard not to laugh. My uncle looked flustered at my joke, okay I know, it's stupid.

"Sorry" I looked down, hiding my smiled. "Serious, Hanbin" He firmly said. Ok fine. Real question here:

"Does drinking human blood considered as sin?"

He became speechless. What? You knew your niece is a rascal, don't act so shocked.

"Is it a sin, uncle? For a vampire following it's nature law" I spoke out seriously. He sighed heavily.

"Breaking the rules that have been made for decades is a sin, child" The old man replied as I only smirked. How ridiculous.

"I don't think so, Uncle" I chuckled softly. He stood up and walked to Jennie, revealing her brushed shoulders. "You still don't think so?"

"Wooww woow! Stop! That part only I can see it" I told, trying to stop him. "You think this is a joke?" He asked seriously.

"She's healing. By the way, I don't drink her blood for about a week already" I looked away from his angry looks.

"No, you drink me last night"

"When? No, no I didn't"

"You did! While you were sleeping"

"What? Did I sleep talk too!?"

"Enough!!" He once again stopped our meaningless bickering. Back to our serious talk.

"How many times did you eat from her?" He questioned. Should I lie? Should I not? He's my uncle by the way "Twice"

I avoided his eyes. Twice; will he fall for it? "Kid, if you want to lie to me better do it properly. Look at her shoulder, I can tell it's not twice!"

Oh right, I completely forgot about that. "A few times(?)" I trylied again, since he sounds like courage-ing me to lie more properly.

"A few times, okay" He wrote that on his note. Oh yeah! He trusted me!

"No, sir! It's multiple times. Many times" The girl beside me suddenly spoke up. I looked at her with my eyes widened.

"You're trying to get me arrested!"

"You're already arrested!"

"What? For your information, you're the one who always seduced me to drink your blood!"

"That's because you lied to me. You said it's not wrong for a vampire to drink human blood! If I knew about this, I won't come here"

"Of course, it's not. They are stupid people making stupid rules"

"I guess, you're the stupid one"

"I thought you love me!"

"Sir, he drink me one or twice a day since January 1st" She told more in detail.

"Gosh, I'm going to jail" I muttered.

"Not even a hug?" I asked before she went to her new house. She sighed and came to hug me.

"I'll miss you" I hugged her tightly. Oh my precious, Jennie. "Bye" She smiled bitterly at me.

"No school, no VASPS, no hang out, no sleepover, no human blood, no going out from this house. Do you got that?" He asked.

"This is worse than going to jail" I walked away from him. "Your crime is not only going to jail, child. It's burned to death. You should be grateful"

"Wait, no school too?" I turned to him. He noddes, a yes. I stomped to him.

"At least, let me go to school!" I raised my voice. "I thought you hate school"

"I have a very important things at school, uncle" I tried to convince him. He shook his head, "Like what? Meeting Jennie?"

"It's not like that! It's Jinhee!" I replied. "You gotta let me go to school" I added, begging with my hands put together.
