Injured

I look at him with wide eyes. I never thought John would lose a fight i'm gonna be honest. With his strong build I thought he could beat up the whole school. Next thing you know, Jace comes around and just gives it to him.

"Hey, can you get me some water, please" he mumbles softly. I can just read the pain from his beautiful eyes, so I go up to the sink and fill a plastic cup with some water. When I walk over, his hands are rubbing his face and his knee is propped up against the bed parallel to him.

"Thanks," he says with a hoarse tone.

"No problem," He nods then downs the cup and throws it into the trash can next to the bed.

"I just have one question John."

"What's up, Bella?"gosh. Him just saying my name makes me gooey inside.

"Why did you fight Jace?"

"It's a long story and I really don't want to talk about it,"

"Why not?"

"I just don't want to okay!" he snaps. His face reddens and his hands fist up again. Geez he's super angry.

"What the hell? I've been nice to you all day and yet that's what I get? You're a real prick!"

"Look i'm sorry okay? Jace and I have our issues in the past and he used it against me. I didn't mean to snap but if only I could tell you.." he gives me this look. That i can't read out. I don't know what he's trying to tell me but I just keep on listening to his breathing as it picks up... He comes closer to me and pushes a piece of my hair behind my ear. Holy shit.

"Look, I ..." I try to make out words but i'm lost in his gaze. He chuckles at my attempt to speak and he ravels his hand with mine.

"You have really gorgeous eyes, Mia Bella," I almost lose it. Mia Bella? How could something sound so amazing rolling out of his lips... make me feel so good?

"Urm.. thanks John.. you.. too.." I manage as he squeezes my hand tight. I can't believe myself. He did the smallest gesture and i'm about to melt! I need to get myself together. We don't break our stare as I try to help him up. He winces in pain and I immediately help him.  Once we stand up i feel him staring again. I look up at him and feel heat immediately. I quickly look down at the ground and he chuckles. He uses his index finger to lift up my chin...
