The break up

8th June 1996
(Draco's P.O.V)
It was early in the morning I'm still at Malfoy manor I just hope Hermione isn't worried about me "Draco have you thought about becoming a death eater" Father says as I drop my fork "no" I say "but Draco every Malfoy is one and it will show us you really belong in Slytherin and a true Malfoy" Father says "but I'm not a Slytherin I'm a Gryffindor and I would never betray my friends" I storm up to my room.

I managed to sneak back into the living room and floo powder back to the Burrow, I waked Quietly to my room trying not to wake any one up since I know everyone liked to sleep in on a Sunday, "Draco is that you" I turn around to see Fred holding a glass of milk standing at the bottom of the stairs "hi Fred" I say "what are you doing here so early does mum know your here" Fred says "yes I send her an owl last night" I say nodding at Fred as I step into my room shutting the door behind me, Ron and Harry and Fast asleep as I try to be a quite as possible I make my way to my bed and unpack my clothes...I have to return to Malfoy manor on the 17th...I have to be a death eater or I have no choice...I have to protect my family....but I will hurt Hermione..Ron and Harry.

"Draco good to see you again" Molly says as she enters the kitchen to make breakfast I look up from my book and smile "Hermione will be glad to see you she missed you a lot" Molly says "I'm exited to see her too" that's when Harry, Ron, Fred and George and Ginny run into the kitchen taking a seat at the dinning table "good to see you Draco how is your mother" Harry says "She's struggling really bad..." I say looking down "We will always accept you and your mother Draco" Molly says "did I hear Draco??" Hermione says running down the stairs and stopping at the bottom step from seeing Draco "DRACO ohhh thank god your okay" Hermione says running into my arms "I missed you" I whisper into her ear.

(Draco's P.O.V)
I agreed to be a death eater...I had to or he was going to kill me..I was given the mission to kill...Hermione
(Flashback)
"Draco I will give you your first mission to prove your a death eater, I want you to kill that MudBlood granger she's getting in the way to kill Potter I've seen how smart she is she will find out how to destroy me so you need to get rid of her"
Draco looks down at the floor as he feels his mother grab his hand
"Yes...my lord"

1st September 1996
(Hermione's P.O.V)
I haven't seen Draco since he left on the 9th of June I'm really worried about him.
Harry Ron and I walk into an compartment waiting for Draco but he never turned up "Guys...I'm worried about Draco.." I say "he's probably coming late" Ron says "He's never late" I say.

We arrive at hogwarts and take our seats at the Gryffindor table watching all the 1st years get sorted, Draco walks in 40 mins late and sits down far away from us "guys Draco is here.." I say whispering to the boys "something has happened over the summer we will talk to him later" Harry says.

2nd September 1996
(Draco's P.O.V)
I walked out of Potions trying to ignore the smell of Hermione...yep a potion made me smell Hermione I didn't pay much attention to the name of the potion, "Draco please wait up" I turn around the see Hermione running up to me "Draco why have you been ignoring me...I'm worried" Hermione says "looks Granger I think it's best if we break up" I say looking up at Hermione, her face is in shocked "did I do something wrong" Hermione says "no it's just I can't be in a relationship right now I have a lot more to focus on, I'm sorry Hermione but it's over" I say walking away regretting it all.

(Hermione's P.O.V)
I run into the common room tears running down my face, I notice Harry in the corner of the room playing chess with Ron, Harry notices me and stand up as I run to Harry and hug him "Hermione what's wrong" Harry says "Draco broke up with me" I say "what why" Ron says "he said he's got a lot going on he doesn't want a relationship" I say "oh Hermione.." Ron says rubbing my back.
