𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝟰 ━━ I'M NOT WEARING THAT.
AELLA never thought she'd be helping out someone she was supposed to kill. But, she did have some type of emotion that layered beneath of her stoic and concealed emotions that she never discovered. It was to kill, train, and learn- the never ending pattern that seemed to go on for ages. She wanted to know what it was like to be the good person for once, to finally have her work recognize and receive praise for her good deeds but good rewards never came from bad actions- it was just the universe's way of telling her to change her ways... it just never seemed to happen until her meeting of Carol Danvers.
The sun was shining as the two of them were walking side by side, catching some people's wandering and curious eyes towards the both of them.
"That was nice of you, Aella." Carol held her hands in her pockets as she nudged Aella by her side.
"What was nice?" Aella glanced over at Carol before looking away as Carol turned to look at her when she was about to speak.
"You helping the older lady when she almost fell. I thought that was sweet of you." Carol smiling in memory as she recalled the moment of Aella willing to help the older woman stable herself. "Thought you'd let her fall to her death."
Aella laughed, "I mean that would've been a better sight to behold." Carol giving her a sharp glare when hearing Aella's statement. Taking it back instantly, she cleared herself, "I'm joking. I'm joking. Lighten up would you?"
Seeing a male walk past with his wallet almost falling out his pocket, Aella's eyes glued to the wallet. Sneakily snatching up the wallet from his back pocket without anyone noticing besides Carol who stopped dead in her tracks in front of Aella.
"What? It's not like they minded." Aella shrugging her shoulders, before attempting to happily walk past Carol. Carol's arm reaching out to stop Aella to move any more further.
"Come on," Carol's eyes glistening a bit towards Aella, "You could at least tell me how much is in there." A smirk forming on her lips as she saw Aella's surprised expression.
"Turning bad now are we?" Aella smiled at Carol before looking in the wallet, seeing a bunch of money contained in it, "We can definitely buy something with this."
"I mean we could use a change of wear?..." Carol suggested also looking at the wallet full of money. "But, we won't use the card. Just the dollars. Understand?"
Aella pouting her lip out, "No fair." She whined. Folding the wallet, she stored it in her pocket and continued on walking. Carol walking by her side once more as they walked their way down the library near by.
