𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟬 ━━ THE POWER OF THE TESSERACT.
They've been flying in the air for God knows how long. Aella's become quite sick of it in fact. She can't stand being up in the atmosphere for so long, but she was good at covering up her fears quite often— almost as if she didn't have any fears. Yet, when Aella let out a soft shaky breath and tightly closed her eyes, Carol definitely saw something was wrong even when no one did.
"What's wrong, love?" Carol tenderly leaned her head on Aella's shoulder, her hand taking Aella's into her own.
Aella deeply exhaled. "I hate staying in the air for this long. I feel like something might go wrong." Starting to play with Carol's fingers, she leans her head against Carol's.
"It's going to be okay. I mean we were on a ride to Maria's place, but then again it wasn't as long as it was for this one, so just hang on. I'll still be here." Carol looks up at Aella and smiles brightly at her, placing a small kiss on Aella's cheek then on her jawline.
"And, here, I thought I was going to get my friendly kiss?" Aella pouted.
Carol laughed, "You'll get your friendly kiss when you the time is right."
Turning around, Aella notices Nick playing with Goose a bit too much for the cat's disliking. Deciding to speak up, Aella voices out, "I think you should lessen it up on the affection. Maybe just put her down or something . . ."
"Fine," Nick reluctantly agreed, deciding to put Goose down on his lap. "For now."
Breaking the conversation, Carol buckles her seatbelt up and tells the others to do so, "I'm boosting up the speed to full blast. Make sure you're secure and Goose too." Without giving a second thought, Carol levels up the ledge higher to full blast getting them out of the atmosphere.
"Is is it normal going on full space turbulence speed?" Nick asked.
Turning around, both Talos and Aella shook their heads signifying no. Feeling a soft nudge on her side, Aella turned and looked at Carol, "What?"
"You're really selling me out today, sweetheart?" The blonde glared at Aella yet her gentle voice couldn't hold up with the intensity in her eyes.
"Sorry, babe. If it makes you feel any better, I think you're really pretty." Aella winked at Carol, a sultry voice taking in instead of her normal tone. Pushing Carol's hair behind her ear, she places a small kiss on her cheek before leaning her head on her shoulder.
