New York City.

"Mommy! What's this?" A small girl rushes towards Aella with a book enclosed in her hands.

Bending down to grab the book from her, Aella puts down her cup of hot chocolate on the living room table. "Hm, I think this is our photo album book." Lifting her young daughter on her lap, Aella focus her attention back on her, "What would you like to know, Amila?" Aella brushing her daughter's light brown hair away from her face.

"I wanna see pictures. Pretty pleasee." Her soft hazel eyes filled with pleading as she looks up at her mother's face.

"Okay, mija. Go bring Carol out of the kitchen and get Colten to leave Oscar alone and let the dog rest. It's Christmas!" Taking Amila off her lap, allowing the small girl to run inside the house despite Carol's orders. Chuckling at her daughter, Aella goes up to the front door when hearing two small knocks.

Opening the door, Aella sees Nick, Maria and Monica at her front steps. "Merry Christmas! Welcome guys!" Allowing them to enter into her home, "You guys are here so early!"

"Well, we wanted to spend as much time with you as we could! So, hi, Auntie Aella." Eagerly wrapping her arms around Aella, Monica takes into the embrace. "I've missed you so much. Where's Mila and Colten?"

"Missed you too, Monica. You've grown so much from when I first met you." Aella lightly smiling as she removes herself from the embrace, "The little rascals should be in the living room along with Oscar. They've been asking about you lately."

With Monica taking a leave to go find Amila and Colten, Nick places his black coat on a hanger inside the closet. "It's nice to see you again, Aella. You haven't aged a day from that whole adventure we had back in 1995. What's you and Carol's secret?"

"A woman's gotta have some secrets. Besides, it's nice to see you too, Nick. How's Tony and Natasha doing? And Lei?"

"Lei and Tony are still a pain in the ass, it's like those two tag team on purpose to annoy the hell out of everyone with their chaotic nonsense. Natasha is doing fine though, she has contacted me several times while throughout the run from the government." Nick explains.

"So everyone's almost the same except the group's broken up now? You okay?" Leaning against the wall, Aella glances over at Nick to see that he's looking down at the floor.

"Well, yeah, I just wasn't expecting for the group to break apart. But, S.H.I.E.L.D. was down. A bunch of damn aliens couldn't get past them or their small bickering. But what could get them down? Their flaws, insecurities, and differences that have been left unsolved. But, what's done is done and all we can do is move on."

"You're right. So, how about we stop moping around on Christmas day and I can go take you to your godchildren. Carol's been wondering how you've been."

"She's still not letting you cook after you almost burned the house three times?"

Softly sighing, Aella hesitates to speak, ". . .Yeah."

"Mommy, can we please the pictures now! You said we could!" Running up to her mother, Amila jumps onto Aella's lap, eager to see what was in the book.

"Alright, alright, Colten come closer to see." Aella beckoning her son closer to him, "Oscar loves you, but please, I'm pretty sure he wants to be put down." Colten reluctantly obeying Aella as he puts down the dog. Eagerly dashing off to his bed, Oscar settles in quietly. "Told you." Aella looking back down at Colten who sheepishly smiles and snuggles in closer to Aella's side.
