Let's talk! I know it is very late for me to have finished Season 8 only now, but seriously? My son unique question after watching it is
WHY THE FUCK DID IT EVEN EXIST??!!!
I MEAN, THERE IS NO EXPLANATION WHAT SO EVER, TO WHY LANCE SUDDENLY BECAME ALTEAN. NO GOOD REASON WHY ALLURA SACRIFICED HERSELF, NO CHARACTER BUILT OF CURTIS, AND THE WORST THING, ALLURANCE! *SCREAMS IN PILLOW AND CRIES IN ALTEAN*
MY HANDS ARE LITERALLY SHAKING RN AND I CAN HARDLY TIPE PROPERLY!
*sighs* Like, I don't even know what the creators thought. The end was so badly done. It was like Dreamworks thought: Oh well, VLD had such a good start and has now many fans all over the world. Let's ruin their expectations for the last season and make it shit. Oh, and we shouldn't forget to make the end as shit as possible because we want it to be finally finished blah blah blah blah blah.
I really loved Voltron and all the characters BEFORE the last season came out.
Okay, I have to say season 7 wasn't the best either, BUT IT WAS STILL BETTER THAN THIS SHIT!
I FREAKED OUT WHEN LANCE BECAME ALTEAN! I LITERALLY SCREAMED THROUGH THE WHOLE LIVING ROOM AND WRECKED THE PLACE! WHILE BEING SICK!
Now to the more constructive feedback *whispers* if that's even possible.
The thing that really annoyed me wasn't the fact that Allurance happened - it was still kinda dumb though - It was the fact, that there was no explanation. At all. It's just oh so suddenly Lance becomes Altean for no good reason (probably for confusion or hate idk) and that the whole team - no - the whole world didn't even question it. It was like: Oh, Lance has the same marks as the Altean? That's not weird at all, so I'm just going to ignore that fact and go on with my life.
The second thing:
Adam.
This was something that was just utterly stupid. If you're just a person who coincidentally came across Voltron and you're not a huge fan of the show, it would never occur to you, that Shiro might be gay and why the hell Adam would be relevant for the story. Dreamworks did a pretty good job on covering up Shiros' sexuality. If you're a big fan of the show, then you might have looked up that character and found out that he was Shiro's Ex-boyfriend. But if you aren't then you wouldn't have.
AND WHY DID THEY KILL ADAM????!!!!! HE WAS PERFECT!
Now to Curtis. I wouldn't even know his name until now. I had to google him! AND THE WORST THING IS HE HAD NO CHARACTER BUILT WHAT SO EVER! THEY JUST HAD THE FUCKING IDEA TO PUT IN ANOTHER LGBTQ+ CHARACTER AND IN THE END JUST DROP THE FUCKING BOMB! *tries to calm down*
I honestly don't know what Dreamworks thought they made, but I am really disappointed in this creation. They even cut Matts hair!!
