"Hazzah!"

Blake swung the sword gripped tightly in her hands round smoothly, only barely giving Yang enough time to duck to avoid the attack. Grabbing the end of the sword with her gloved hand, Yang pulled the faunus into touching distance and claimed the sword, grabbing Blake by her wrists instead. The raven-haired girl gasped in surprise, but swiftly dropped to the floor and slipped between her lover's legs, effectively pulling herself free of Yang's grasp. She pushed herself up, turning on her heel quickly and tackling Yang to the ground. A cloud of orange dust formed as the pair hit the ground, both giggling like idiots as Blake tied Yang's arms behind her back with a piece of loose string she had attached to her belt.

"Let me go~" The blonde whined.

"What's the magic word?" Blake teased, leaning down so her head was looking over Yang's shoulder, her shallow breaths on Yang's neck sending shivers down the blonde's spine.

"You've gotta be kitten me," Yang groaned, "Please?"

"Nope," Blake spoke bluntly, tightening the ropes that bound her, "try again."
"Pretty please, Kitten?" she tried.

The ropes tightened, earning a small squeak from Yang as Blake made herself heavier, crushing the girl's lungs.

"You're bad at this," Blake snorted.

"Welp...what a cat-astrophic purr-dicament I've found myself in~" Yang wailed dramatically.

"Cat puns aren't going to save you, Yang," the faunus deadpanned, "You should know what words I'm looking for."

"Uhhhhh, I should?" She looked thoughtful as she laid her head against the dirt, determined to figure out the puzzle.

"Open sesame!" Yang beamed. Blake facepalmed.

"That's to open a door," she informed. Yang pouted, pressing her cheek back into the dirt again.

"C'mon Yang, this shouldn't be so hard."

"I'm thinking, shh, you're disturbing my thought process."
Blake rolled her eyes, shifting so she could sit comfortably on her lover as she waited for a response. Yang poked her tongue out as her nose scrunched up; the same look she had every time she was really trying to figure something out. She hummed as she racked her brain for the words.

"Try, 'I love you'," Blake sighed, her focus no longer on keeping the blonde restrained. In a flash, Yang took advantage of the window of opportunity and manage to pull the rope off. She rolled over, throwing Blake off into the dirt. The faunus landed on her back with a small 'oof'; Yang climbed on top of her, pinning her arms above her head.

"Gotcha," She grinned, her breath laboured. Blake smiled, but it didn't quite reach her eyes. The blonde sighed, brushing a strand of Blake's hair out of her eyes.

"Is that what you were really expecting?" Yang asked softly. Blake paused; then nodded.

"Don't I tell you that everyday though?" She continued.

"...I like hearing it," Blake mumbled, looking off to the side. Yang smirked, leaning her head down and nuzzling against her lover's exposed neck. The faunus giggled at the touch. Yang kissed the girl's neck, "I."
She kissed it again, in a different spot, "Love."
And again, "You."
Different spot, "Blake."
And again, "Bellabooty."

Blake placed her hands on the blonde's shoulders, pushing her off with an eyeroll.

"That's not my name, and you know it."
"Might as well be," Yang winked, "but you're right, it's not."
Blake sat up, rubbing her arm and observing if a bruise had started to form or not. Yang reached out and held both of Blake's hands gently, running her thumbs across the back of her hands gently. Her thumb ran across the gold band on Blake's ring finger, smiling at the engraved words.

"We're protecting eachother."

"But seriously," Yang spoke, leaning forward and kissing Blake's forehead, "I love you, Blake Xiao Long."

Blake blushed, looking down so that her hair would cover her tinted cheeks. Yang chuckled, letting go of one of her hands so she could tilt the faunus' head back up. She planted a chaste kiss on her soft lips, which of course Blake melted into. As she pulled back, the sight was extraordinary. Blake's smile was bright, wholesome, and her amber eyes sparkled with happiness. Just like the first time Yang had told her she loved her. Yang pushed herself up, brushing off her baggy pants of all the dust and dirt that had coated them. She tightened her ponytail, and offered her right hand out to her girlfriend. Blake smiled sadly at the painted metal, gently taking the offer. Yang pulled Blake up, ruffling her hair as she patted down her butt cape. The faunus' ears twitched at the touch. The blonde pulled her hand away, turning to walk back to the home that they shared, along with their daughter, Li.

"Yang, wait."
Yang turned just in time to catch the raven-haired girl, who dashed for her and threw herself at her wife. Yang's hands supported Blake's waist as the faunus placed her lips against hers sweetly, earning a small hum of content from the blonde firecracker. Blake's arms snaked around Yang's neck as she clung to her, practically stealing the air from her wife's lungs. As Blake pulled back, she placed her forehead against Yang's; the smile tugging at her lips seemingly permanent.

"I love you too," She whispered.
