"So, what's the schedule for today?" Fantasia asked as she walked down the hallways with Hera and Midnight. The advisor wore her usual dark outfit. Black and gold thick, cloth jacket on and buttoned up to the collar. Dark gray pants, and black dress shoes. She held a book in her left hand and a red fountain pen in the other. "Today, in fifteen seconds," Midnight began," You have a council meeting. Today's topic, border expansion." Fantasia let out a loud, annoyed sigh that could be heard at the other other side of the castle. Midnight looked at Hera when she started to laugh. Clearing her throat, the guard stopped laughing and continued to walk with her hands behind her back. "Then," The advisor added," A meeting with possible suitors and a fresh welcoming to the new comers who arrived in our land by boat. Which leaves you with forty-five minutes to prepare for the Paw Treaty Ball. Officially twenty-five years of peace between Melodia and Furton." Fantasia rolled her eyes before they stopped at two big, brown mahogany doors. On the other side of it would be a small circle of men from all corners of Melodia. Oh how she hated being in that room with them. All of them stared and thought of her as naive and childish despite the fact that she was well aware of every problem in the so called "perfect" city. Every problem, big or small. She knew very well off. She loved discussing the political matters of her kingdom. They were like challenges in a game that she could easily solve if they weren't so stubborn. Playing it safe, instead of going off facts and reason. But what she hated most about diplomatic meetings was one judge of the seaside district of Melodia. Tomas Daniel Mattola. He wouldn't side with her but always stared at her for too long and she could feel his eyes tracing over her figure when she walked away. Fantasia was well aware of the fact that he liked her, she wasn't into controlling, abusive old men with a wife and two kids. Two lovely kids who she'd had the pleasure of meeting but their father wasn't so pleasurable. He tried to engage conversation with her whenever possible. Balls, parties, council meetings and whenever he saw her on the streets.

Only for today, Fantasia thought holding a rolled up map in hand and a hard cover red book and black fountain pen in the other. Hera held the door open so she could walk inside the room. As usual everyone, including that bastard, Tomas, was present. She felt his silver eyes on her as she made her way to the seat next to the queen at the circular marble desk. As soon as she was in the comfortable, red polyester seat, Fantasia looked over her copy of a map of Melodia. The city, Empire of Furton, White Mountains, Enchanted Forest and the Red Desert. She looked at the Red Desert and the White Mountains. So far, the soldiers of Melodia have been able to clear out the White Warriors. No news, sightings or attacks have been mentions or heard off since the Battle of Snow during the winter in the Enchanted forest two months and fifteen days ago. With a sparkle in her eyes, Fantasia began to draw a railroad and subway from Melodia's eastern walls to the White Mountains. She was in the middle of making a city in the valley of the mountain when her ears caught a very unnerving statement from the demon himself. "We could expand borders out into the Empire of Furton and push them out into the mountain where they belong." Tomas remarked. Snapping her head up, Fantasia loudly said," No."

"Fantasia," Queen Carey called with surprised eyes. "What?" The forty-five year old man said. "I said no," Fantasia repeated more sternly and powerfully. "That is a blatant call for war and we don't need another one after the Terror of the White Warriors," She added," The Empire of Furton is our top supplier of cotton. We need them for clothes because not anyone of you know how to make the very same fabrics you wear every day." Fantasia stood up from her seat," Does twenty-five years of peace mean nothing to you?! They helped us during the Terror of the White Warriors and the harshest winter of Melodia only a month ago and you simply want to force them out their homes? They may be animals but they can do what we can and more when they so ever choose to. Sure, we have advanced technology, weapons, canons, giant walls and magic but so do they. They also have a natural killer and survival instinct, something we as men don't have. They know how to survive in the world, we can only go on for a certain while before we all die. They could kill us all with ease if they wanted to and there would be nothing we could do. With all due respect, we are not risking the countless lives of Melodia to expand borders just to have a war that would kill us all."

"Then what do you suggest we do then, little girl?!" Questioned Kraig Kinesin. Fantasia curled her empty hands into fists, hard stone fists that shook with hot, boiling rage. She was very familiar with Kraig much more than Tomas.

The judge of the industrial district of Melodia. He was a sneaky, questionable old man. One that wanted money, power and demanded respect. Several people in Melodia feared him but Fantasia was not afraid of him. In fact, Fantasia as a young child had kicked him in his shin for shoving a kid out of his way as he walked. The kid was carrying his school books home and Kraig pushed him with his cane. The boy fell and Fantasia said," That wasn't very nice!" With a small hard kick, she ran to the boy and helped carry his books. After helping the kid, she kicked Kraig again in the same shin and place before running into the coach with the queen and riding away with a smile on her face. That bruise healed but he now needs his cane to walk. It was something Kraig had held against her but she didn't care and often took in stride with an award winning smile on her face. But those words, little girl, stung. Especially from him. He always ridiculed her for her looks. Having beauty that resembled a person that never aged past twenty. No matter how old she was or became, he'd always said those two words.

Little girl.

He knew those two words got under her skin and smirked when they got to her. He was the only one who was able to push buttons not even Tomas could find. She hated him for it. Hate was a strong word but also strong feeling.

"I was thinking," Fantasia added through gritted teeth. She sighed and added," We could build a railroad through the Red Desert to the valley in the middle of the mountains. We could use the caves in the mountains as watch towers." Before even giving her idea a chance, Kraig laughed and the others soon joined in. "We'll pick this back up tomorrow." He said, still laughing. Fantasia grabbed her book and map before storming out the room.

Boom!

Fantasia pushed both door out the way before angrily walking off to the Royal Gardens. Tomas tried to chase after her but Midnight stopped him," Leave now or I'll make you."
