"Your Majesty," Emilia said with bow. Fantasia knew something was wrong by only her return," What happened? Are they okay?"

"Yes," She answered," It's just that after taking that blast from Kraig has made itself known. I fear the evil from him has latched onto a soul."

---

"Fantasia!" Queen Carey yelled," You can't be serious!"

"Well I am!" Fantasia replied, grabbing Kraig's cane and sheathed sword. She was prepared for the trip ahead, weapons, clothes and a few books on magic. She wore her a blue tank top, black pants and boots.

"You can't just leave; the kingdom needs you."

"But so does my wife." She sharply remarked," I'd rather be a peasant if it meant I got to help my own lover. She's the world to me and I don't plan on losing her while I sit around...Not again. I don't want to sit still and look pretty."

"Okay, but bring her back when you find her."

"As you wish,"

---

"What exactly did she do?" Fantasia asked as they slowly rode through the forest of Gravel. Babylonia didn't answer, she didn't have to. The princess had already saw the thick, trail of blood leading to the pile of bodies. Her white hours neighed in fright, stumbling back a few steps. " Woah, easy girl." Fantasia said, gently rubbing her hand along her neck. The horse shook her head, standing still. Fantasia, Babylonia and Hera got off their horses, slowly walking closer. Holding Kraig's cane in her hand, the brunette of royalty lifted the chin on one man with a gash across his neck. Her jaw clenched, her brain working twice as hard now. "I didn't think it was possible but she pulled it off." Fantasia remarked. "And what might that be?" Hera asked. "She didn't kill any citizens but she did kill most of the Mateus Bloodline." She added," The only one she didn't find was his eighth son Adam."

"How many did he have?" The scout asked. "Eight sons, two daughters, three wives, two brothers, four sisters. His grandparents have been dead for a long time now. King Mateus had a promiscuous sex life. The first wife was the one he fell in love with and gave him his true heirs and the other two wanted his money. He freely gave it to them in exchange for more children to take his place.."

"So, what's one guy gonna do?"

"Adam is the most dangerous of them all." Fantasia added," Accomplished archer, poison maker and opponent on the battle field. He didn't need a weapon to show you his talent but he had one just in case. He's the tricky one, fast, cunning and bloodthirsty when angered to a certain point. He's a threat to my own very life but I've fought him before. Where is Vanessa being held?"

---

"Fantasia!" Vanessa said happily but her smile quickly faded," You shouldn't be here. It isn't safe." The princess was heartbroken, seeing her wife in a cell. One of the few places she didn't belong, she wasn't a criminal.

She wore a white tank top, gray jeans and gold boots with black soles and laces. But her general jacket was nowhere to be seen.

"I couldn't let you stay here locked inside these walls." She replied," I'm taking you back home to figure this out." The general gave her a serious look," Not while it's sunset, wait until the morning."

"But—"

"Trust me," Emilia said from behind her," You'll want to see what light of the night does to her." Fantasia let out a sigh of frustration," Okay, but I'm staying here."

"Will do," Hera added," As usual, I am on night watch." Tiny walked over, lying next to the bars. A small smile came to Fantasia's lips upon seeing Vanessa play with him from behind the bars. But she remembered the one threat that still lurked around Gravel, Hera asked," What do we do about Adam?"

"If he comes...Be prepared for anything. Who knows what he's been studying over the years."

Vanessa chuckled, giving Tiny another rub on his head before saying," Okay Tiny. Gotta guard my wife for me." Fantasia looked up at Vanessa, the general smiled brightly despite being locked in a cell.
