Sunday

"It's sun set," Vanessa remarked," Are we ready to sail?"

"Almost just have to—"

Thud!

Fantasia groaned, impact of being hit but an energy ball was setting in. Steam emitted from her as she slowly lifted her body from the wooden deck of the floor. "He's here." Hera added. Before Vanessa had a chance to run over to her wife, an explosion rang out. Loud, clear and fiery. BOOM!

Vanessa blinked, the world was blurry but she could see the flames of the ship vibrant and alive. She blinked again, the sharp crackle of burning wood filled her ears and smoke filled her nose. With a pained groan, slowly got to her knees and looking around. Fantasia stood guard, her sword in hand as she looked from side to side. "Hera, Babylonia, Emilia and Tiny," The princess began," You need to get out of here while you still can."

"I'm not leaving without—"

"I don't care, now go before I drop kick you into the ocean!" With a forced nod and tear in her eyes, Hera ran for the second ship with Emilia, Babylonia and Tiny following behind her. Vanessa inhaled sharply, feeling the dark energy course through her veins. She slowly got to her feet and kept a hand to her sheathed sword. "So, he wants you dead huh?" Vanessa asked with a evil chuckle. "Most definitely." Fantasia answered, casting her wife a side glance. "He seems fun for an opponent." She added. The brunette of royalty playfully rolled her eyes as the General added," Don't hold back."

"I don't plan to."

A blur of grey came at Vanessa, she blinked. Her eyes quickly taking on a dark red shade. Adam came into focus, he wore almost all gray. Black boots, pants, white t-shirt and a open grey trench coat with black and red lining. He held a short sword in his hands, scars littered his body and his eyes were red with burning hatred. Adam's jet black hair was messy at the top and shaved at the bottom. "Back to you!" Vanessa yelled, pulling a side roundhouse flip as she grabbed the man by this collar and threw him to the ground.

Crack!

Fantasia rolled back, blocking his two strikes before pulling out her sword. She pulled his arm closer, landing the metal hilt of her sword to his collar bone and jaw. Just as Adam took a step forward to slash Fantasia's stomach, she stepped on his left knee and another on his right shoulder. Back flipping from his shoulders and landing onto a lamppost. With a growl, Adam flipped his knife and aimed the hilt at her head. Vanessa grabbed the back of his collar and threw him back a few feet. He rolled, sliding a few inches on his knees as his short sword slid in front of him. Adam chuckled evilly, wiping the blood from his lip with his arm. Slowly getting to his feet, he said," So a new General in town huh? You should leave while you still can, I don't want you to get caught up in that corrupted bitch's death."

"She has a name imbecile and not I'm leaving my wife to die by your hands." Vanessa remarked. Adam picked up his sword," So be it. I'll make yours quick since I need to spend some with Fantasia." Vanessa rolled her eyes, watched him closely as his nervous eyes kept jumping between her and the princess as she perched on the lamppost. Adam rushed over to the General, Fantasia's eyes went wide. She's been a victim of this plan before," Vanessa, wait—" Crash!

Green fog was now where they'd been and she couldn't see through it. Suddenly, Vanessa stumbled out the thick fog but she was weak, losing consciousness quickly. Fantasia fell from the lamppost and was met by a sharp edge of blade as she jumped back, hardly keeping up with his fast speed. She stepped back but Adam to a wide step forward. Fantasia felt her blood freeze and turn cold as the blade sliced through her shirt and her skin. Vanessa blinked, her lungs burned as she blew green fog from her nose. Her eyes landed on Fantasia, the princess fell to her her knees. Gold spilled from the gash that held a wide toothless smile for all to see. The liquid metal went in bright, opaque streams down her shirt, pants and began making a huge puddle around her knees. She fell over to her side,

Thud.

Fantasia's breaths were shallow, shaky and cold. "Easy to kill," Adam remarked with a chuckle," You haven't aged a bit." Vanessa blinked, her heartbeat slowing down as well. They were both dying. The princess looked over at the General and whispered," Vanessa..." Her brown eyes polished, sunken as the life drained out of them. The General closed her eyes, quickly deepening into nothingness.
