The Song (for Alan)

I don't think there's an episode called "The Song" so just in case I put that the song is for Alan in parentheses! Now let's get to it

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

Okay Imma love this part!! I love Gumball's voice when he sings, it's kinda hard to not to sing along with. Can't forget Darwin's cute voice too! Anyways we walked up to Alan and Darwin asks "hey Alan. What's wrong?" Alan just responds with "I've lost it" Gumball being himself says "that's alright, man. Whatever it is, no one ever thought you had it anyway" me and Darwin elbow his sides from that comment. His comments can be funny, but right now is not the perfect time to say them, especially if Alan is still upset. Gumball rolls his eyes and says "alright, fine.. what have you lost Alan?" He sighs and says "my faith in the world."

I wince and side hug him "Alan we need people like you to be happy! They help out to people in need. Or at least help out with whatever damage is left over from those two" after I say that they both yell at me. "Hey!" I playfully stick my tongue at them "you know it's true" Gumball just let's it go.. for now. So did Darwin so he asks Alan "why'd you give up? You were doing so good" "no matter how much I try, the world will never be perfect." I remember this part so easily, I just butt in with Gumball saying "well you just gotta get back on that horse." He scoffs saying "oh why bother?" "Like I said, and on that same point so people like Gumball won't have to try."

Alan looks at me with one of the most saddest faces while saying "there's no point new girl! People don't change. Goodness knows I try to stay positive and turn the other cheek, but what happens when you ran out of cheeks to turn." Gumball jokes saying "well, I could think couple more cheeks-" I covered his mouth before he could finish. Alan glares at Gumball, but I get in his view and say "but Alan you've changed so many lives." He looks back at me and Darwin saying "what about him? *points at Gumball* in spite of all the effort I've made to be friends, he still can't look me in the eye." I take my hand away from Gumball's mouth and Darwin says "that's not true!" I see Gumball's eyes are behind his head and push them back forward.

Gumball tried to say he's friends with Alan, but gagged everytime he was about to say "friend" Alan lost his smile. "See? He's physically incapable of saying anything remotely positive about me." Okay now this is getting stupid "everything doesn't just go right for yo-" Darwin covered my mouth nervously laughing. When he stopped laughing he said "Gumball prove him wrong, give him a hug!" He slowly pushes Gumball to Alan. They looked like they were in a great hug, but I went in front of them to see the truth... not a hug. Darwin didn't know so he says "there you go good job, give him a good squeeze, that's right. Can you feel the love?" When he sees their faces he nervously laughs again saying "no, no, no, no! Too much love."

I guess that was more of a struggle than a hug, because Alan was out of breath asking "see?!" Gumball replies with "well I'm sorry man, but life doesn't work like that." Alan looked annoyed "how does it work then?" I smile and nod to the brothers, they nod back. "Well, Alan. Life doesn't work in black and white, let me give you a little insight." I side hugged him while I said that little rhyme, then the music comes outta nowhere, and the bros begun. I thought I should let them sing, and afterwards I would explain who actually did that little prank to him.

They actually got his spririt back up! I laugh and run over to them "nice, you guys did it. Alan on that same point there's something I need to tell you..."

-after explaining-

"WhAt?!" I wince at Alan's tone and look down sadly "sorry, I'm still learning how to treat people, kinda like Gumball." Gumball growls so I say "tell me I'm wrong" he doesn't so I continued "anyways, how about we start over. Hey I'm (Y/n) (L/n), who are you?" I lift up my hand to shake he puts his string in my hand saying "Alan Keene. I hope we can become great friends! Also Gumball I guess that means we're friends too." Gumball declines making Alan look down sadly, I rub his back in reassurance, but Gumball comes back. "Dah alright, maybe a little!" Alan smiles so I high five them all, and then said "okay Alan, see ya later." He nods and we go our different ways, Gumball finally decides to ask me "who did adopt you anyway?" I laugh at his answer. "I'll show you, race ya home!" I run ahead kinda knowing the way "hey no fair!" They yell and try to catch up.

Darwin was the only one that caught up with me, but we were already there "okay Dar *pant* it's a tie." He nods and as Gumball runs up he leans on me to catch his breath "no *pant pant* fair" me and Darwin just laughed. That's when dad yells "WATTERSON!!!" We look at him and he says "I want you to stay away from my daughter. Understood?" He pulls me away from them, keeping a firm hand on my shoulder, my eyes widen. Theirs do too "DAUGHTER?? STAY AWAY?!" Dad just nods his head and pulls me inside the house. What just happened??.....
