The walk home last night was fun, but today feels different, not just the fact that Penny seen me and hasn't stopped glaring at me- no. I feel like I'm being watched, maybe by Weeza, who found out that I'm free or-or maybe this is an episode. Either way, I'm going to visit Gumball just in case- "and where do you think you're going??" Dad asks upset. Turning around I nervously smile "hey dad, just going out to hang with friends-" "I know you're friends. I also know every kid in this town, just tell me who you're hanging out with or you're staying home."

I sigh and say "Gumball and-" "no" he says and walks in the kitchen "'no'??" I ask offended, he turns back to me saying "I am not letting you leave. Those Watterson's are nothing but trouble! Not to mention you'll fall in love with one and get heartbroken." A blush makes its way to my face, so I shake it off saying "dad, I promise you, they're amazing. They all feel like a second family to me- besides this one, I mean!" I say with a nervous laugh. 'Dang, I already like Gumball and I'm already lying to my dad about him..... this is stupid.'

A knock comes to the door, so I smile and say "I'll get it!" Dad looks at me while raising his unibrow, but I open the door to see Gumball and Darwin. "Hey (Y/n), wanna hang out??" Darwin asks, but Gumball looks at him saying "of course she does. I felt the connection of her feeling bored, she obviously would want to hang out!" Dad walks over to us. "What do you mean you 'felt the connection'- did you see some hippies?!" Dad asks angered. I jump at the yell and trip over my own foot, feeling like I'm gonna fall, but someone barely caught me.

"It's okay, I got ya!" Gumball says, looking up at him I see a pink color surround him as he looks cute, my heart starts beating fast as my face heats up. He looks like he's in the same condition, but we hear dad and we both fell to the ground. "What are you doing?!?!" He asks angry, but Darwin looks at us confused "that was new. What happened??" My eyes widen as I look at Gumball, who's looking at me, so we both say "I don't know." Dad then says "okay, just go off into public, if I leave you here, who knows what will happen."

With that he shuts the door, so Gumball says "we were heading off to the mall, l-let's just go there" they help me up and we head towards the mall. When we get there we see everyone looking like they're preparing for a commercial. 'Okaaaayyy then' I think as we continue walking around, but the sound of someone falling and Alan scream. "Did it hurt?" Alan asked, but I couldn't really hear everything that well, but I managed. "Not as much as all these years of yearning for you" Teri says, making me furrow my eyebrows.

"Am I-" "no, we hear it too" Gumball says, a feeling of disgust washing over me, so me and Gumball both say "yeah, this is weird." We finally see the two on the floor as Carmen stands there saying "I have no words." Gumball then says "please, allow me" he walks up to them and looks at Alan while the words poured from his mouth. "I'm dumping you, you iron-jawed gas sack!" Gumball yelled as he walked back to us. The feeling of smugness got me, so I say this for Gumball "you're welcome" and we start walking away.

"This is all so weird, what is up with Cupid and his arrows today??" I ask confused, but Darwin says "what're you gonna say about that??" Claire and Hot Dog Guy are right there. "In that moment, I have felt something I have never felt before" Claire says as they hold hands. Disgust hit me, from myself or Gumball, I will never know, but HDG says "I love the way you speak your mind.. literally." That's when they kissed and a second later a wave of water comes out of nowhere and sweeps them off their feet. Gumball then says "I would say that 'it looks like Cupid needs to lay off the ambrosia for a while.'"

We continue to walk throughout the mall- when we pass by Larry proposing to his girlfriend, I smile a little as I walk, but he moves against his will past us. Then he ends up in front of Mr Small, who, tears his outfit off and is now in a wedding dress. "I will!" Mr Small says happily as he closes his eyes with a big smile, a wave of smugness washes over me again. "Serving some bridal realness there, Mr. Small!" I say, but Darwin raises an eyebrow at me. I shrug my shoulders saying "sorry, someone felt smug for a second, so I said it for him."

Gumball laughed a little, but in the distance I hear dad "honey, I love it" my eyes widen as I see him with Banana Barbara in a tattoo shop. "This'll truly represent our newfound love and it'll look great on my shoulder" dad says to her. 'Okay, this can't get any more gross-' "no, I want it here" Barbara says as she pokes his nose. That's when they kiss, but Gumball covers my eyes as both him and Darwin say "what the what." Rocky is apparently here as he says "oh, hey guys!" "We can't let him see... whatever I saw."

Gumball then says "yeah, look how it effected (Y/n)- and she's adopted!" "We need a diversion-" "I got this" I say and run over to him. "What's up bro bro??" I ask with a smile "hey sis, did I intrude on a date??" He teases me. I blush and say "y-yes! We were already trying to get Darwin to stop third wheeling, bro. Can you not make this harder on us???" I do puppy eyes on him, so he nods his head with a smile. "Tell them I say 'hi'!" Rocky says as he walks away, I sigh and feel Gumball and Darwin staring at me.
