The Unfair Advantage

My alarm starts going off, but before I could reach out to turn it off a hand does it for me, then that same hand pulls me closer to whoever the hand belongs to. I open my eyes to see blue arms around me, I look back and see Gumball, I sigh and try to get up. He mumbles something in his sleep and pulls me even closer to him, I groan and say "Gumball. You have to let me go, and we need to get up, we have school!" He just mumbles in his sleep. "Gumball~....... Gumball~....... get up, we have to make it to the video game off" I joke.

He sits up saying "I will win!" Then he got up, twirled around, a bright light shone around him, and now he somehow has clothes on. I look at him confused but say "okay, now get ready for school, or at least wait out there. Mostly because I can't defy logic like you just did, and it will take me longer to get dressed and ready." Gumball looks around, then back at me and says "did you just trick me?" I nod my head and push him out the door. He sighs but says "okay, I'll go and find something to eat, meet me downstairs in ten?" I nod my head.

I close the door and start getting ready as fast as I can "I got this, I got this, I got this" I kept repeating to myself, when I got done I went downstairs fast. "WhY aRe YoU hErE wAtTeRsOn?!" I hear dad yell, I roll my eyes and go all the way downstairs. "I asked if he could stay for a week last night dad, remember that question I asked that wasn't important?" He's glaring at me. I smile sweetly at him, take the pieces of toast from him, grab Gumballs hand, and go out the door. "Bye dad! Don't blow up the house from being angry!" I yell and pull Gumball to the end of the sidewalk to wait for the bus.

"Can I have one?" He asks pointing at the pieces of toast, I nod and hand him one, he smiles as he eats it "this is so good." I nod and eat my piece "I know right, also I'm surprised you woke up so easily, you look like you'd be a heavy sleeper." He nods saying "I am, you just tricked me into being wide awake" we laugh as the bus pulls up. The bus comes to a stop as the doors open "hey guys, good to see you're on time Gumball." Rocky was happy to see us, but we walked on saying our hellos and such as we sat down.

Looks like there's kids everywhere, there's only two seats, one next to Penny, the other next to Carrie, I look at Gumball and say "I'll sit next to Penny if you want me too. It won't be that much of a problem" he smiles at me and says "really?" I nod "thanks (Y/n), you're the best." I sigh and follow him as we go to the separate seats, Penny still looks like she has that black eye. When she sees me next to her she puts her bag on the seat and says "this seat is taken" I laugh a little. "I know it's not, also there's nowhere else to sit, soooo" I move her bag and sit down next to her.

She glares at me and says "did you just touch my bag?!" I look at her and say "I didn't touch it, I moved it! There's a big difference" she turns into her Medusa form and hisses at me. I roll my eyes and say "get some new scarier faces, you showed me that one already Penny." At that point, I think I made her snap, so she pushed me off of the seat, and I felt my face scrape against the floor. I gasp and wipe the tears away that came out of my eyes, Gumball and Darwin come and help me up. "Are you okay (Y/n)?!" They ask in unison, I nod my head "yeah, I'm fine, that just kinda hurt."

"You don't look okay, a little bit of blood is coming off of your face" Gumball says and wipes some of the blood off, I wince and pull back from the pain. "Ohhhh, that's why you keep on defending him!" Penny says and pushed Gumball away from me. "What do you mean?" Gumball and I ask in unison "you have a crush on him!" She says and glares me down. "Penny, I'm just being a good friend and neighbor, I don't like Gumball that way" I say as she punches me. I stumble back, and the bus comes to a stop making me fall on my back "I didn't want to be this girl, but you gave me no choice."

She kicks my side, then walks off the bus, I groan at the pain "when did being a good person come with bad consequences?" I ask and try to stand. Gumball and Darwin help me up again and Darwin asks "what's her deal?" Gumball explained what he knows. "So you're telling me, that (Y/n) somehow knew that you aren't that type of person. Even though this is only her second week of school?" Darwin asks curiously, I nod my head. "I also got into a fight with both her and Leslie" "you're kidding! Leslie is, like the best dance fighter. Did you win?!"

I nod my head "he didn't use dance fighting, that was my advantage, also not to mention I made him look like he has a goatee. It's kinda funny, but I only gave him the goatee because he came to my house and threw a pie in my face." Everyone in the hall starts looking at me having to need Gumball and Darwin's help for walking. "Why is everyone looking at us?" I ask "word got out that you fought Penny at the mall" Anais says. I look at her and ask "really?" She nods "also, what happened? I thought you won that fight?" "I did."

"Penny just came at her for sitting next to her, you know and moving her bag without permission I guess. (Y/n) didn't even get the chance to fight back, Penny pushed her to the floor, and kicked her in the stomach." Gumball explained to Anais for me "yeah, I could've done better, but I didn't want to fight on a bus." Rocky was mopping the floor when he sees me.......

"What happened sis?! You were fine earlier!"
