I walked dad over to the table, while Rocky helped mom to the table "mom and dad, remember you both promised to stay until you both finished all of your food." They agreed again, so I sat down next to dad and Gumball, I look at him with a nervous smile. Rocky then says "now take off your blindfolds!" They do.... and they aren't happy to see this family. "What are we doing here?!" Dad asks about to get up "dad you promised!" He sat back down.
Mom just rolls her eyes at the whole thing "hello Mr. Robinson, how're you doing?" Nicole tries to start a conversation. Mom was the only one to answer, but only Rocky and dad understood what she said, Rocky facepalmed while dad laughed. Darwin was about to ask, but Rocky raises his hand saying "don't bother, it wasn't a good thing."
Richard clears his throat saying "well I'll serve everyone dinner, please stay seated, it is gonna be delicious." I lean over to Gumball and say "he doesn't look like the type of person to get the food" he nods. "I think he's trying to be nice" I nod agreeing with him, and he comes back with steaks, and kernel corn. This is so surprising right now, everything is not going horribly wrong.... okay Gumball is planning something, I just know it.

I can't wait to see his face when he sees the surprise I got for them! Most of us finished our food... except for (Y/n) who is moving it around with her fork. Darwin taps my shoulder and then points upstairs, I nod, he whispered something into her ear. She stands up and says "I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be right nack, I'm so sorry guys." I stand up with Darwin saying "I gotta show Darwing something real quick, just continue eating."
We all walked upstairs to our room, she silently closed the door, and she looks back at us "this better not be what I think it's about. If it is.... my parents are gonna be so upset" I look at her confused "what do you think it is?" Darwin asked. She just stood there for a second, then she says "you two, most likely Gumball, planned something big. It's so big, something is bound to go wrong, and we won't be able to see eachother! He already has it all planned out."
I blink trying to understand everything she said....... we can't let this happen to us! "There's nothing to worry about, nothing's gonna go wrong." Darwin looks down deep in thought, then he said "I think it can go wrong, but he's too stubborn to admit it." Hearing that I glare at him, he flinched, but we look back at (Y/n) to see her trying not to laugh.

I sigh and we all walk down stairs, something still tells me that this is not gonna end up well... for anyone. I sat down and say "well this food is amazing Mrs. Watterson! Thank you" she smiles "aww you're welcome sweetheart. How about we talk about what we like of the other family? I'll start *clears throat* I certainly like how we can get along with this part of the neighbors." Rocky smiles and says "I like how smart Anais is, she is younger, but is a grade above her brothers." This is actually going well... oh yeah that surprise Gumball's planning, I swear he's fun but I can handle this surprise right now.
He smiles big.... oh no, he's getting ready! He stands and says "I have to go and get our dessert! Please stay seated." Dessert? I have to see this for myself, I stand too saying "I'll help you with that Gumball. It would be my pleasure to help" he nods, and we walk into the kitchen, there's a cake, and it's huge. This may be one of Gumball's best ideas yet! I smile "dude this actually looks amazing! I'm surprised." He smiles big saying "thanks, I have my own secret ingredient that made this cake really big too."
That might be the bad part, but it still looks so amazing! I help him carry this big guy to the table, everyone's face was surprised. Dad is the first to say "this actually looks nice, thank you Gumball" I smile even bigger. Mom grabs a knife to cut it, but it started growing a little, I lean over to him and say "mind telling me that secret ingredient. Please?" He whispers in my ear "it's yeast! It'll help with it to grow bigger!" My eyes widen. Only the kids seen what the cake's doing.... mom slightly touches the cake with the knife, and it flew everywhere.
I wiped the cake out of my eyes, and see everyone looking speechless, except mom and dad.... they look furious. Anais nervously laughs saying "that wasn't supposed to happen...." I then say "dad please. This was an honest mistake, he didn't know yeast would make all of this happen!" Nicole and dad started arguing. Oh god I'm gonna lose Gumball as a friend forever! Speaking of Gumball, he sighed and looks up at me. "(Y/n)..... I'm so sorry, I just wanted to get on your dad's good side, I wanted to impress him. All so I could just be your best friend..... so Mr. Robinson, I already said my goodbye, you can leave now."
