Strange Magic's

The mission

"What is your name?" Grey asked as they boarded the train to go to their mission.
"L-lumine," he answered "and I'm guessing your Grey and the pink haired boy is Natsu?"
"Correct," Erza said "no need to be so shy these two are really friendly."
"So what's the mission Erza?" Grey asked looking at the flyer.
"To find and return the clients lost baby brother. Said he disappeared around four months after the last grand magic games." She said.
"Umm I heard a lot of this grand magic games but not of what it actually is, do you mind me asking?" Lumine said a little more confident but still very shyly.
"When we're done with our mission we'll tell you." Erza said.
"Alright, Umm the mission sounds like a search and rescue why are five people needed?" Lumine asked looking at the flyer Grey handed him.
"Because that's what she asked for five wizards to help search for her baby brother, and we can cover more ground that way." Lucy said as the train started moving and Natsu getting sick right away.
Once at there destination they stepped off the train, all but natsu who was being carried off by Happy.
"So this is Sounflour?" Lucy asked looking at the rundown station.
"I hope the rest of the city isn't like this," Lumine said.
"Look at who stopped stuttering!" Erza said with glee.
"O-oh I-I d-did?" Lumine asked somewhat flustered.
"Let's go," Grey said as he lead the way to a beautiful house. It was a two story house painted a light blue with a purple trim, it was the only neatly kept house there. The garden was the best part with two foot hedges lined with roses of all colors. A lady was already in the doorway to greet them.
"Hello I'm merry, are you the wizards that accepted my request?" She asked right away.
"Yes we are, I'm Erza Scarlet, to my left we have Lucy and Natsu, and to my right are Grey and Lumine." She said right away.
"Hey don't forget me!" Happy said as he landed on Lucy head.
"I'm so glad your here my brother is the only one who can return our city to what it once was. You see his magic was able to make plants age backwards allowing them to grow even if they died. I kept the garden her like this in hopes he would return but it's been close to two months and I'm starting to worry about him." Marry said through tears.
"We will any specific details to look for?" Erza asked.
"The dead forest any dead trees in there might be a sign of him that was his favorite place growing up." Marry said.
"Thank you we'll do what we can." Lucy said as they all went to the dead forest. Natsu and Happy searches by air, Erza and Grey were a pair by foot, Lumine and Lucy were tasked with asking any remaining residents if they have any clue to where he could be.
"Hey Lucy." Lumine asked as they walked towards the forest to tell Erza what the found.
"Yeah?" She replied.
"What magic do you think I have. I was able to perfectly preform whatever magic master asked me to do. It's a little off putting." Lumine said fidgeting with his hands.
"It is interesting let's just leave it to the master to find out." Lucy said as multiple trees around them started to degrade and fall.
"What's going on?" Lumine said surprised as a shot of blue arrows darted out from behind a tree. Lucy knew them right away and ducked while Lumine rolled out of the preformed a magic no one has seen before. He let out a flash of light then thee trees surrounding them disappeared. Grey and Erza where there in the circle looking on in shock.
"What just happened!" Grey asked as he looked around at the perfect circle.
"It was a lost magic, but how can you use it?" Erza said in surprise.
"I don't know." Lumine said in shock as someone walked up behind them the only person who knew of his approach was Natsu who was landing.
"What happened here?" said the strainer sending chills down everyone's back.
"Who are you?!" Erza and Lumine yelled in unison as Erza took a defensive stance and Lumine stepped forward.
"I'm sorry for not introducing myself. I'm Darch and I believe you might be looking for me," He said in a calm tone.
"Darch that sounds familiar," Lumine said before locking eyes with him "do I know you.?"
"You were here last week as well. Why do you keep coming back here?" Darch said in an irritated tone.
"I was? This isnt my first time meeting you?" Lumine asked.
"You were here before but this is our first time meeting. I'm surprised these are the first to have survive an attack such as that from you. I know your type of magic and how strong you are." Darch says in a slightly arrogant tone.
"What I know you this isn't our first time meeting. Your the one who attacked me. It was here in the woods to. This is all just some elaborate plan to do something with me isn't it?" Lumine half yelled as a small flood of memories of fights came back.
"Hm smart boy aren't you. Well I guess I have to dispose of these four myself. And wipe your memory again." Darch said with a smirk as a hooded figure appeared behind him. In a heartbeat everyone was snared in a web of vines not able to use any magic. Accept happy and Lumine who Happy just so happened to save.
"Listen you fought this guy before you know his attacks take him down for Natsu!"Happy yelled as he dropped Lumine in a separate part of the forest. Lumines first instinct was to run and save his friends but he thought a head on attack won't work that's when he got an idea. With his magic he copied Erza and requiped some swords, he was going to cut the vines. He headed in the direction that they were going to fight only to fine an empty circle.
"HEEEEEEY!" Happy said as he flew to Lumine "they aren't here but I know where they went!" With that Happy picked up Lumine and carried him back to the city where Erza, Lucy, Natsu, and Grey were tied up in the vines.
"Drop me!" Lumine yelled as he spotted the two attackers "Try to get the others out of here but don't touch the vines it'll sap your magic! Get them to where we were!"
"Aya!" Happy yelled as he dropped Lumine. As Lumine fell he preformed a magic no one was expecting, Stings magic. He aimed a breath attack straight for the hooded figure. Natsu was the most surprised. The attack hit, someone, then went flying back at him. He knew it wouldn't hit at the speed he was falling was to fast for it to hit. He hit the ground with a loud crash as the hooded figure was behind him.
"Would you like to play with your friends again?" they said as two trees grew out of the ground and opened up to reveal to unconscious people, Sting and Yukino.
"I KNEW THAT WOULD BRING OUT WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!" Lumine yelled as he aimed a fire dragons roar at the tree Sting was in.
"WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY? YOUR FRIENDS IN THERE!" the figure yelled as the tree burned.
"THAT A PUPPET MADE OF PLANTS USEING HIS POWER I KNOW WHERE THE REAL ONE IS!" he yelled as he sent another fire dragons roar at the tree with Yukino. The first tree stopped burning as there was just a pile of ash.
"You see I figured out my magic," Lumine said with a smirk as he approached the hooded figure "you, lily, have no clue what's happening. Now release them before your 'brothers' power is completely drained." Lumine said as a threat.
"Please you know you-" she started but was cut off. Lumine had used a light dragon fist attack on Lily straight to there gut. Just as soon as Lily hit the ground the vines around Lumines friends dissolved. And to people appeared in the piles of ash.
"So Darch, if that is your real name' what will it be?" Lumine asked half laughing at the look of terror on his foes face. He walked over as his foe fell to his knees and started begging for forgiveness when Lumine kicked him full force in the face. Natsu and Erza ran in from the forest as Happy was only able to take the two in the span of the fight.
"What happened here?" Erza asked as she saw both enemies on the ground.
"Took them down. And found out what my magic is." Lumine said with a smile.
"I know what it is!" Grey yelled as he prepared for an attack. Lumine rushed and tackled him as the hooded figure stood up.
"THANKS FOR GIVING ME A NICE NEW PUPPET!" Lily laughed as sting and Yukino started to stir "and I might take these two back!"
"YOU CANT!" Lumine yelled as he shot his head towards Lucy, "May I borrow one of your keys Lucy?"
"What are you planning to do?" Lucy asked as she handed him Gemini's key.
"WATCH AND LEARN!" He yelled as he opened the gate and Gemini appeared.
"We were called by Lucy's magic but the one who used it isn't Lucy. It can't be. HE'S BACK!" The two yelled 'he's back' in unison. Lumine was hoping Gemini might help with this fight and an explication. First thing Gemini did was transform into Lumine and both used fire dragons roar at there enemy. Lily was taken down a second time as Grey snapped back to reality. Gemini returned to normal.
"Allow me to explain, with Gemini's help of course." Lumine said as he made sure there assailant was down for good.
"He is a special person. He has special magic." Gemini said with glee.
"You see my magic is mimicry. It allows me to not only use a magic that someone else can use but it also allows me to use there magic as my own. With no affect on them." Lumine said as he hugged Gemini.
"And we were the first to know. As he was our first contract." Gemini said.
"And now Lucy holds there contract. Gemini is a special spirit as well." Lumine said as he gestured them to speak.
"We were made specifically for him. We were made with his power. That's how ours work." Gemini said as they went to Lucy.
"Well I think it's time for you to return and tell the rest of my return I'm sure they will like to know I'm back. For good or bad reasons." Lumine said as Gemini disappeared. With that said Lumine distracted himself with finding a way out of the town. He walked over to Sting and Yukino.
"Uhh Sorry," he said sheepishly "it's my fault you two are here with us. P-please f-forgive m-me." His stuttering started to worsen do to a mix of shyness and sadness. During the flood of memories something came back but he wanted, needed to keep it a secret. For his safety and for everyone's.
"It's ok but where are we?" Sting asked as he held his head sitting in the pile of ash.
"Sounflour." Erza answered as she walked up to the three of them placing a hand on Lumines shoulder. Lumine was starting to cry as a familiar voice spoke.
"So it wasn't just a rumor. Glad to see you." They said as everyone turned to see who it was. Loke was standing there sending even more tears down Lumines face.
"L-loke?" Lumine asked wiping tears from his face as he ran to hug him.
"In the flesh," Loke said as he returned the hug "so is he back?" Lumine had a confused look on his face. He thought he knew who Loke was talking about but he didn't. His mind was racing to find a way home and to finally get off his feet. That's when an idea popped into his head.
"I've got it!" Lumine yelled as he ran up to Lucy "I need to barrow Gemini's key again!"
"Why?" Lucy asked with a nervous face.
"I got our way home. Since the train only comes once a week we'll just fly." He said with a smirk on his face.
"But Happy can only carry one person at a time and who knows how far magnolia is from here." Lucy said in return.
"That's why me and Gemini are going to help. Happy can carry one person but I can carry two. Gemini can transform into me and carry another two. Natsu, Erza, Yukino, Sting, and you. There's five. See I thought this out. For like five seconds." He said with a smile.
"Why don't I just summon Gemini? You look like you used a lot of your magic in that fight." Lucy said as he fell backwards. Everyone rushed to see if he was okay, all except Loke.
"Same old personality but something is off." He said as he went back to the celestial world. Lumine jumped up like nothing has happened and looked around at everyone.
"What? You all look like you just saw someone die." He said as he felt something on his shirt. Blood, his blood. He was stabbed through the heart but was alive.
