"What?" Lumine asked as he looked down at his staining shirt. The white around the wound was turning a deep red as he just poked at it.
"Don't poke it!" Yukino yelled out of shock.
"Why not. Ow!" Lumine said as he slid his other hand up his back and felt a handle. The knife was still in him. He wanted to slide it out but he also didn't want to out of curtesy and fear. They decided it's be best if Makarov took a look into this and headed out. First to go was Happy carrying Natsu. Next was Gemini with Lucy and Yukino. Finally was Lumine with Erza and Sting.
"Hey, so what you were saying earlier, about how it was your fault, how is it yours if anyone were to believe so?" Sting asked as a drop of blood fell right next to his face.
"I was the one who brought you and Yukino there. You two were strong enough to take a hit like the one Erza and the others took from me, but you two were knocked out. Erza and the others were still standing. I have some understanding of that magic, but it's still so confusing. Hold on we're landing." Lumine said all of this over a forest of trees before landing at the edge of a city. The three meet up with the others and were filled in as why they landed. Night was fast approaching and the town had a train station so they could ride that the rest of the way back home. They took up residence in a small inn and took two rooms. One with Erza, Lucy, and Yukino the other with Grey, Natsu, Sting, and Lumine.
In their room Natsu, Grey, and Sting spent no time to get to interrogating Lumine.
"What was that?" "Who are you?" And "What's your plan?" were the three questions that stuck out the most.
"Calm down and I'll try to answer your questions! Just don't berate me like that!" Lumine yelled as the knife in his back hit the floor with a clang and a shape appeared.
"Who is that?" Natsu asked pointing to the person.
"The idiot who stabbed me," Lumine said with a straight face as he picked up the knife "I knew he stabbed me when I slid my hand up my back. He may of been invisible but he was still there. And this person isn't even a person. It's a shadow."
"Who are you?" Grey asked with anger in his eyes.
"Lumine Tenebris is who I am. But no one is asking the right questions." Lumine said as he stabbed the shadow making it disappear.
"What is with your magic?" Sting asked kind of shakily.
"That's a right question. I don't know much about it. If I'm being honest I don't even know how much magic I have. I just know that I can use another's magic if I have seen it or copied it so to speak." Lumine said in a calm voice standing up again.
"How did you know Stings attacks?" Grey asked angrier then before.
"We fought. Or should I say I fought a puppet of him. Our client is a wizard too. And a powerful one. I think she might not like other people. But her magic is all types of plant magic. Same as the person we were told to look for." Lumine said as he sat at the foot of a bed.
"What ever I'm out of here," Grey said in anger as he walked out of the room.
"I'm going to go check in on the girls," Natsu said before walking down the hall into another room.
"Well it's just us," Sting said as he laid down on the bed next to Lumine. Lumine glanced over at him then back to his lap. 'Why am I even here? Why is this happening?' He thought at first then other thoughts flooded his head. 'Why is my heart racing? Why is he so cute? Why am I getting hard?' he thought to himself as he stood up and walked over to a chair after shutting the door.
"So I have a question. It's not about you or anything." Sting said starring at the ceiling.
"What is it?" Lumine asked in response as he yawned.
"Do you know anything about the dragons or the dragon Slayers?" Sting asked as he sat up.
"Well ummm, promise you won't tell anyone if I tell you ok?" Lumine asked in response.
"You have my word as a dragon slayer." Sting said.
"I'm actually a dragon slayer. I even watched you and Rogue play. I was one of the ones who grew up raised by a dragon. During the fight I just had a flood of memories came back. Not all of them just segments. But I actually remember your face in there. Of course it's a younger face but I still remember it." Lumine said tears starting to well up.
"I knew you looked and smelled like someone I knew. I just couldn't put my finger on it. Teacher Ana was so sad when she couldn't find you. We helped her search and search after the war but we couldn't find you. She even put up job listings trying to find you." Sting said as he stood up.
"I feel so bad now. I remember her and Wendy and Gajeel. How are they? Are they good?" Lumine asked whipping tears from his eyes as he looked up at Sting.
"Yes they are, there both at Fairy Tail." Sting said as he hugged Lumine.
"Thank you for telling me." He said as there was an explosion from outside. They both ran out into the streets to see something very surprising. A dragon landed on the outskirts of the city. They were so surprised by this they didn't see or hear the others run up. The dragon resembled something very familiar to lumine. It was black and white. The right side was pitch black the only reason they could tell it was there was because of the white eye it had, while the left was a pure white with a single black spot its other eye. The dragon then disappeared but the magic was still in the area. A human walked up to them. He looked almost like Lumine only difference was the hair and eye color mirrored his. The man had a tattoo of the moon on his right and the sun on his left.
"Do you know who I am?" He asked the group.
"A dragon?" Lumine gulped as he stepped forward to get a better look at his clone.
"That's right. But do you know my name?" He asked this time with a smile Lumine knew all to well.
"IT CANT BE! YENRIR!?" Lumine yelled as he shot a look at the sky.
"Yes. Why haven't you said a word Sting? Natsu?" Yenrir said as he hugged Lumine.
"Your the one teacher Ana told us about. Yenrer one of the twin dragons of balance. Yantra the other." Sting said finally breaking free from shock.
"It's funny. Yantra died protecting you guys from Acnologia. And yet it looks like she's right in front of me. I think that's why I came here." Yenrer said hugging Lumine tighter.
"I thought I wouldn't see you again. After what I heard the other dragons did about the dragon seed I thought you did the same thing. But Yantra was the one that protected me from its effects. I saw her. I saw here help destroy face. She gave here last moments as a spirit here doing what she did when she was alive. Protecting us." Lumine said as he let go of Yenrer teary eyed. Lumine returned his gaze to Yenrer.
"Who are you and how do I know I can trust you?" Natsu asked narrowing his eyes.
"Because I raised Lumine as he goes by now. He was the first dragon slayer who was chosen to beat Acnologia." Yenrer said.
"Well you scared the entire city and that was uncalled for." Erza interjected.
"I realize that and I apologize for that. I needed a way for Lumine to recognize me." Yenrer said sadly. With that he walked off into the woods bordering the town. Everyone managed to calm the town before returning to what they were doing. Grey still wasn't interested in being near Lumine through the dragon incident. Back in the room it was just Sting and Lumine again.
"So that was Yenrer?" Sting said aloud as he laid back down on a bed yawning.
"The dragon who raised me. Yenrer of the dark balance. The other one who raised me was Yantra of the light balance." Lumine said as he sat on the same bed as Sting.
"Well I have another question for you." Sting said turning his head to look at lumine who had his back to him.
"What is it? I told you I'd answer what questions you had as best I can." Lumine responded as he laid down.
"Never mind it's nothing important. I'm going to sleep." Sting said as he rolled into his side.
"Good night." Lumine said as he walked over to the chair and slept there. The next morning Lumine was woken up by Natsu's snoring. Sting and Natsu were still asleep and Grey hasn't returned yet. He looked at Sting peacefully sleeping and wished he knew what Sting was dreaming about. Erza came in a few minutes after Lumine woke up with Grey half asleep following her. She woke up Natsu and Happy then Sting. Everyone was up and on the train in time for departure. Sting and Natsu were Motion sick the entire time. Lumine was only starting to feel sick about half way through the ride. Once back in Magnolia Natsu, Happy, Lucy, and Grey headed straight for the guild hall while Erza, Lumine, and Sting stayed in front of the station.
"So have a good nights rest you two?" Erza asked as they stepped into the sunlight.
"Not really, Sting and Lumine said in unison.
"Bad dreams or?" Erza asked in a teasing demeanor.
"Oh shut it." Lumine said as he sat at a bench to catch his breath.
"Lumine I am going to ask you something once and only once." Erza said as she sat next to him "I want you to spend some time at Sabertooth see how you like it, ok?"
"Why?" He asked.
"Because I want to ask the master to help me with something but I need you there." She responded as she stood up.
"Ok I'll do it." He said standing as well.
"Well you better catch up with Yukino if you want to make it, you to Sting." She said before pushing both of them towards the station. Sting, Lumine, and Yukino got on the train and headed for Sabertooth. Erza headed back to the guild smirking the entire way. She asked Makarov her question and started working towards her goal. At Sabertooth Sting and Yukino walked in followed by Lumine. The first person to even notice them was Rogue. Right away he bombarded them with questions before he even noticed Lumine who Manirva saw first and already started talking to him.
"So are you a new member?" Manirva asked right away.
"Actually I'm a member of Fairy tail." Lumine responded before looking at her directly. He looked around at the hall how organized and less chaotic it is. He then felt a tap on his shoulder which scared him and spun around. Rogue was the one who tapped him on the shoulder. Rogue was about two or three inch's taller than Lumine.
"Umm," Lumine said as he started to get nervous.
"Thank you for saving Sting." Rogue said as he looked at Sting.
"J-just d-doing w-what w-was r-right." Lumine stammered out before covering his face with his hands trying to hide that he was blushing. He was honestly getting a little uncomfortable being around so many people. When Sting stepped in and pulled him just outside the guild hall.
"Hey, are you alright?" He asked a little worriedly.
"Would you believe me if I said yes?" Lumine responded.
"Not at all. Your our guest and you look like you just drank to much. Your face is all red. What's wrong?" Sting asked wanting an answer.
"All these people. I've never been around more then four or five people at a time and all of a sudden there are hundreds of people packed together in one place. And and I don't think I'm going to be ok." He said as his face turned an even brighter red.
"Well I still need to return the favor you gave me last night. You told me your secret so I'll tell you mine. Sounds fair?" Sting said holding Lumines arm.
"Yes." Lumine responded simply.
"Ok. It's not a big one like you being a dragon slayer or anywhere close. But it's one people don't really accept. I'm gay." Sting said as he let go of Lumine.
"You are." Lumine said shocked but not showing it.
"Yes.  But please don't tell anyone. If people are going to know it has to be straight from the source not a third party." Sting said hurriedly.
"I won't I promise." Lumine said in a hushed voice as he slid down the wall and sat on the ground. Sting sat next to him. They sat there in silence for some time until Rogue stepped outside. Lumine quickly buried his face in his arms as Sting stood up. Sting tapped Lumine and motioned him to come with him and Rogue.
