Strange Magic's

Objective: rescue

Dragon flagged down the five that came in place of the Dragon Slayers.
"So your the ones helping me?" Dragon asked. Erza, Lucy, Manirva, Grey, and Yukino.
"Yes." Erza said.
"Good. I can tell none of you use dragon slayer magic." Dragon said.
"How can we help?" Lucy asked.
"First I need the five Exceed. Once I give you the signal you storm the place." Dragon said.
"What's the signal?" Manirva asked.
"It'll be obvious. The door opening." Dragon said walking towards the side of the building. The five exceed followed through a small tunnel that led them into the building.
"Lily transform." Dragon instructed. Lily did so as Dragon ran for help.
"HELP INTRUDERS. SCARY ONES!" Dragon yelled as he ran into the front of the building.
"What do you mean your supposed to scare them of not the other way around." a lady yelled as she stormed off into the room he ran from. Dragon opened the door and the others ran in.
"MORE INTRUDERS!" Dragon yelled "don't worry this is part of the plan I just need the guard away from the door. Armor lady please come with me." Erza pretended to chase Dragon upstairs. Only one room had a guard and Dragon ran to him.
"HELP ME SHES SCARY!" he yelled as he ran behind the guard.
"Please her armor shows she's weak. Go fight her yourself Dragon!" he scoffed.
"I'll show you weak." Erza said repuiping into her purgatory armor.
"ERZA IS THAT YOU!" A muffled yell came from the door.
"You have one chance to make things right the easy way. Release my friend and you may keep your base." Erza said before requiring her sword.
"Like you can do anything like that." The man scoffed again.
"KICK HIS ASS!" the yell was clearer.
"WHAT? HOW DID YOU GET OUT?" the guard asked.
"Easy your just stupid." said the Lumine look alike.
"WHY I! THE MASTER SHOULD BE FINE WITH FIVE I HOPE!" he yelled before attacking. Erza attacked in retaliation as the look alike was part of Dragons plan. He slipped into the room while Erza and the guard fought.
"Is that me?" Lumine said as the look alike entered.
"Shh nows your chance to escape." He said to himself.
"This is way to confusing." Lumine said half to himself half to his other self.
"Here," The look alike grabbed a cup of water and a torch "eat up."
"No thanks. Your smart but I have something else up my sleeve. I just need to be untied." Lumine said as he struggled to stand.
"You can barely stand. I'd like to see you at full power unlike me." The look alike said.
"Fine." Lumine said reluctantly. The look alike first helped him drink the water then eat the fire on the torch.
"Better?" The look alike said falling to the ground.
"I am what about you?" Lumine asked as a cloud appeared around the look alike.
"I'm fine" said a small voice "what's the most important is that you are."
"Thanks now lead the way out of here, Dragon." Lumine said picking him up.
"Erza he's safe tell the others!" Dragon yelled.
"Let's go!" Lumine yelled running out of the room. Downstairs Lily and Manirva were helping Lucy and Yukino battle the two of them as Erza and Lumine both ran down.
"Let's go!" They both yelled in unison as they ran out the door. The others followed as they escaped.
"I FEEL SO STUPID! I LET MYSELF GET CAUGHT LIKE THAT!" Lumine yelled as they ran down the street.
"Don't beat yourself up about it." Dragon said as Lumine carried him.
"BUT ITS MY FAULT YOU RISKED EVERYTHING FOR ME!" Lumine yelled tears slipping down his face.
"You would of done the same for me." Dragon responded as they reached the inn FairyTail was at.
"YOUR SAFE!" Wendy yelled seeing them run up.
"We are." Erza said stoping.
"Dragon here helped most of all," Manirva said "and by the sound of our brief run sounds like they know each other. Sorry for my eves dropping."
"It's fine," Lumine said wiping tears from his face "I don't think I can face Sting right now."
"We will tell him your safe here for now." Yukino said holding Frosch.
"Fro will to" he said.
"Thank you. Please keep him there." Lumine said setting Dragon down.
"Well that's where we go." Letcher said as the four of Sabertooth left.
"So you did it." Makarov said as he came up to them.
"Yes they did. Thank you all of you." Lumine said trying to hide his face.
"Anyone who messes with one of Fairy tail messes with all of Fairy Tail." Natsu said walking outside.
"Besides we dragons need to stick together." Gajeel said as he came up.
"A family without family." Dragon said standing up.
"You said it." Erza agreed. All of them went inside and Lumine spent the night there. The next day he prepared for the games and went with Fairy Tail. Dragon was by his side the entire time.
"AND HERE WE ARE AGAIN FOR THE THIRD DAY!!" the announcer yelled.
"And with us today as our special a guild master from one of the competing guilds, Master Makarov." Jellal said.
"And I see we have a competitor returning." Makarov said into the mic as everyone entered the arena. Lumine was the last one to enter.
"AND HE IS BACK!!" the announcer yelled.
"Well that's exciting but even more is today's game. But first we have a surprise for the competitors." Jellal said.
"The two guilds must form a team of five members." Makarov said. This caused a murmur throughout the crowd. All the guilds met up to discuss.
"Well no doubt that we need Lumine on the field." Sting said right away.
"And Natsu." Erza added.
"There's two who else?" Rogue asked.
"Well I say you two, Sting and Rogue, all dragon slayers." Natsu interjected.
"I don't think that's all good of a plan. What if they already thought of this and are already planing around that?" Lumine said finally speaking.
"That's where the plus one comes in." Natsu said.
"Still four Dragon slayers. After the experience I just had I say it's best to have at most three." Lumine said.
"Agreed." Sting said.
"You two decide that. Lucy I think you would be best here too." Manirva and Yukino said.
"There's four at most." Grey said.
"Erza I feel like would be one of our best choices." Lucy said.
"Agreed and Rogue I say you compete. You won't be to much of a hazard if you three dragon slayers were to fight together." Erza said.
"So it's settled. Lucy, Natsu, Erza, Rogue, and Lumine." Sting said.
"I'm sorry but two things. One why am I being called a dragon slayer? And two are you sure me we still don't know what they did to me or my magic." Lumine interjected.
"Wendy and Porlyusica checked you over nothing is wrong. And you can use dragon slayer magic, albeit through mimicry, making you a dragon slayer." Erza said.
"Alright." Lumine said backing up.
"Will the teams please step forward?" Jellal asked. The teams of five stepped forward. Everyone was shocked to see Sting wasn't fighting here.
"And there you have it folks our new teams." Makarov said.
"NOW ONTO THE GAME!!!" the announcer yelled.
"It's very simple. Just deliver a package." Jellal said with a smirk.
"The task itself is. It's getting it to the recipient is the hard part. As they are across a thirty mile field. Of your choosing of course." Makarov explained.
"NOW WILL TODAYS PAIR STEP FORWARD!!!" the announcer yelled once more.
"Now please tell me which field you choose no two can be the same." Pumpkin said.
"Blazing hell." Natsu and Erza said together not letting the others even get to look through the choices.
"Are you sure?" Pumpkin asked.
"Yes." Erza said simply as she and Natsu stepped back. Erza and Natsu stepped up to their starting line. They chose this path because they knew it was going to be the hardest. Natsu's fire dragon magic could easily get through the fire while Erza followed behind in here flame empress armor protecting the package. The package itself was no bigger than Erzas fist. The path split into three right at the start. The right path dipped but was covered in a thick red flame. The left path went up over a hill. The middle path was flat Erza could see it was completely flat. It was decided there they would go straight. Once the race started Erza and Natsu took off. Erza requiped into her flame empress armor. A wall of fire erupted from the ground in front of them and Natsu just ate it. Erza ran past as more walls erupted to slow to catch her. Something was up she wasn't in her flame empress armor she was wearing her wolf hunt armor, an armor that was completely black with a gray wolf pelt hanging off of it. The armor greatly increased her already great speed. Natsu caught up to her because both parties have to be at the goal to complete the task. Half way through the ground started to shake. Behind them a great monster started after them. It was made out of all the fire the two had passed trying to deliver the package.
"GO ILL TAKE CARE OF THIS!" Natsu yelled as he stopped and pivoted on one foot. The monster went to punch him but Natsu, being the guy he is, started eating it. Little by little every hit or bite the monster took it started to shrink. Eventually it was so small it fit in the palm of Natsu's hand, Natsu just scooped it up and ate it. He set back after Erza through walls of fire eating as much as he can from each wall to minimize the monsters next size. Once he caught up to Erza they were at the end and Natsu once again pivoted this time launching himself at the monster. Erza waited for Natsu to finish. Natsu in no time starting dealing blow after blow to the monster. Once again it shrank to the point where it fit in Natsu's hand and he ate it. They delivered the package first. Onto the battle Erza, Natsu, and Rogue were the three fighting against the Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale. After the battle Lumine stayed at the games with some of the members of FairyTail. They decided after what had happened to set a curfew and no one goes anywhere outside the inn alone. Lumines partner for FairyTail Laxus and from Sabertooth was Rufus. They first went to the FairyTail in so Laxus could rest then to Sabertooth.
"LUMINE!!" Sting yelled as loud as he could once he came in.
"WHAT!?" Lumine yelled scared that he was going to get hurt, but Sting just ran up and gave him a bear hug.
"I'm so glad nothing happened to you." Sting said letting go of Lumine.
"Why wouldn't I? They can't leave a scratch on me." Lumine said with a smile "I overheard them talking about a plan all I heard was that non of their objectives were to be harmed."
"What do they are out for others? We need to stop them." Sting said worried.
"Calm down the most we'll do is cause alarm I think it's best to wait until after the games." Lumine said.
"This little guy came for you after the guilds left." Rouge said walking up followed by Dragon.
"DRAGON!" Lumine yelled in excitement.
"You know I don't really like that name?" Dragon asked.
"So you want to change it?" Lumine asked confused.
"Yes." Dragon said.
"So let's go with Draco." Lumine said picking him up.
"That's What it'll be Draco. Even if it's so close to what it was before." Draco said.
"Sting." Lumine said abruptly.
"What?" he asked turning to Lumine.
"Boop." Lumine said poking Stings nose.
"Stop that." Sting said blankly.
"What's the magic word?" Lumine asked teasingly.
"I'll bite you." Sting said in the same way Lumine was talking.
"You act like you don't already." Lumine said with a smile as he walked off to his room.
"I'll be in the room." Rogue said with a slight chuckle as he walked off after lumine. Sting just stood there blushing as he quickly walked after Lumine and Rogue.
"Why would you say that?" Sting asked as soon as he closed the door.
"What?" Lumine asked at the small coffee table.
"I think he's talking about you embarrassing him." Rogue said sitting across from lumine.
"Why would you threaten to do something that doesn't faze me?" Lumine asked smiling.
"Sting you ok?" Rogue asked placing something down.
"No. I was just embarrassed in front of half the guild." Sting said.
"Better than the time I fell from the rafters." Lumine said.
"When was that?" Rogue asked.
"Oh wait that was at FairyTail." Lumine said placing something on top of what Rogue placed.
"That sounds like a fun story." Draco said as he jumped up onto the table.
"Nothing special. I was just fixing a leak and Natsu decided that it would be a good time to start a riot. The ladder I was on broke so I grabbed onto one of the rafters. Next thing I knew a table was flying at me and knocked me out of the rafters. Erza wasn't there but when she got back the guild was cleaner then she's ever seen it." Lumine said with a smile.
"Wow. Maybe you should get our guild to clean up after themselves." Rogue said placing down something else.
"Wait are you two playing cards?" Draco asked as he walked over to Lumine.
"Yep wanna play?" Lumine said.
"Next hand I'll play." Draco said sitting.
"Something is wrong with you three." Sting said as he just walked into a back room. They continued to play cards until Sting poked his head out of a doorway.
"Did you forget Lumine?" Sting asked.
"About what? I win." he asked getting up.
"About our plans." Sting answered.
"Oh. Uhh. How mad would you be if I said yes?" Lumine asked with a blank stare.
"Very. This is one of our only chances to do this." Sting said as he disappeared into the room.
"Then I definitely didn't." Lumine said as he stepped into his room.
"Draco you up for a one on one?" Rogue asked as he shuffled the cards.
"Sure." Draco said turning around.
"HURRY UP OR WE'LL BE LATE!" Sting yelled as he stepped out of his room.
"Why are you all fancy?" Rogue asked dealing the cards.
"Reasons." Sting said sarcastically.
"Fine be so rude." Rogue said as lumine stapped out of his room.
"Why are you wearing what you wore on our anniversary?" Sting asked.
"Cause these are the only nice clothes I have. Or do you want me to go out wearing my vacation clothes?" Lumine said almost as sarcastic as Sting was to Rogue.
"Please don't that wasn't a fun experience." Rogue said as he looked at his cards.
"We're off then." Sting said as he opened the door.
"See you later. Draco will won the next three games then lose the last." Lumine said with a chuckle before walking out. The two of them walked to a restaurant and when to an isolated back room. No one but the two were in there the waiter came and went many times before the finally ordered.
"I'll have the Ruby baked lobster" Sting said setting down his menu.
"I'll have the Emerald sea salad" Lumine said setting his menu down. The waiter took the menus and left.
"Why the salad?" Sting asked.
"Why the lobster?" Lumine asked with a smile.
"I'm just asking usually you get the steak or should I say whole animal." Sting said leaning on the table.
"Oh I just felt like trying something new." Lumine said taking a sip of his champagne.
"Are we sure they didn't do something to you when you were kidnapped?" Sting asked with a small chuckle.
"Nothing someone who knows how to keep me down wouldn't do." Lumine said with a devious smile.
"What are you saying?" Sting asked returning the smile.
"Omg. You don't have any clue what I'm saying do you?" Lumine said laughing.
"What do you mean?" Sting said sitting upright.
"The subtext." Lumine said still laughing.
"I thought that was you wanting to you know." Sting said.
"Well that two but there are different subtext I'm talking about." Lumine said shooting a glance to the door.
"What?" Sting asked slightly concerned.
"I think it's unsafe to talk about it here. Especially with him." Lumine said as the waiter came in with there food. The waiter set the food on the table and Lumine caught a glimps of what he thought was a tattoo.
"Enjoy" the waiter said walking out of the room.
"What are you talking about?" Sting asked.
"What I'm saying is he probably laced the food. We have had half of our drinks and nothing is wrong so." Lumine said.
"Babs your just being paranoid." Sting said getting up and walking over to him.
"I know I probably am, but those people are still in the city." Lumine said.
"Here if it makes you feel better I'll take a bite of your food just to make you feel safe." Sting said giving him a hug.
"Your right I'm probably being paranoid." Lumine said hugging Sting.
"So do you want me to try the salad?" Sting asked letting go of Lumine.
"No it's fine." Lumine said facing forward. Sting walked back to his seat and started eating as Lumine did to.
"You feel drowsy?" Lumine asked Sting noticing he was rocking a little bit.
"Huh? Ah no." Sting said almost falling out of your chair.
"Alright you are almost passed out. We have to go." Lumine said standing but sitting right away.
"What's wrong babs?" Sting asked.
"Nothing just rest for a bit ok." Lumine said as he stood up again and walked behind Sting. Sting was out five seconds later leaving Lumine to talk freely.
"What the fuck did you do?" he snarled at the waiter.
"Nothing more then my job." The waiter said.
"And what's that? Drug your customers." Lumine said as a flash of light came out of no where. The waiter was gone from sight but still there.
"I can see you." Lumine said with a smile still staring at the door.
"Please not even that man there can see after that attack." the waiter said from behind lumine.
"I'm not worried about a low level like you. I smell her." Lumine said keeping a hand on Stings sleeping body.
"I'm surprised. So the fact we're true. But you won't last this time." a lady said walking in a long black dress that covered her entire arms.
"How could I forget someone that caused so much pain?" Lumine said as he saw something coming for him.
"You won't get away this time." The lady said with a simple smile. Lumine just let the attack hit him.
"You act like you can harm me. You don't know who your messing with." Lumine said smiling before everything went black.
"What happened turn the lights back on!" the lady yelled as she felt something brush past her.
"True reflect. Takes time but quite efective." Lumine whispered to her before he was out the door and half way down the street carrying Sting.
"Man that was close. If it took any longer I don't think I would have escaped in time. Come on Sting I cant do much more but get us to FairyTail. Wake up soon. For me." Lumine said to himself. He passed people on the street and heard various questions like 'what's going on?' and 'Why is he running?' Lumine didn't care as long as he made it to FairyTail. He could smell the lady chasing after them. He reached FairyTail.
"HEY SOMEONE TAKE STING HE WAS DRUGGED!" Lumine yelled as loud as he could waking half the guild.
"Why are you yelling so late?" Erza asked walking out from the hall.
"I need your help." Lumine said setting Sting down as more members filed into the lobby.
"What's going on?" Erza said as Lumine grabbed her wrist and started running down the street with her following.
"I'm in no position to fight here. Try to get her out of the city and somewhere open. Like the coliseum." Lumine said while running.
"And what about you?" Erza asked.
"I'll get there as soon as I can I just need to make a minor detour." Lumine said as he made a sharp turn in the opposite direction Erza took. Lumine ran the half block into Sabertooths inn. Erza ran the entire way to the coliseum. Lumine changed into something that allowed more breathing room than a suit and sprinted for the coliseum. There Erza was already in a fight with Lumines attacker.
"SCALDING DART SCAILS!" Lumine yelled as soon as the lady was visible.
"You think projectiles can work- OW!" the lady yelled.
"Yes mine can. Secret arts can do a lot more than you think they can." Lumine said as he ran up to help Erza.
"You can't beat us." Erza said with a smile as she swung at the lady.
"A mother can beat any little children." The lady said moving out of the way.
"But you can't beat a motherless duo." Lumine said with a smirk as he saw smoke coming from the lady. "Haven't you heard of me. Mother assassin, Maria." She said as she climbed her arm.
"I have you scum. All the same doing it for the money." Erza said swinging both swords at her.
"PFFT! MOTHER ASSASSIN? YOU COULDN'T EVEN KILL A FLY!" Lumine yelled trying his plan of attack.
"And you couldn't even protect you friend." Maria said in response kicking her shoe off at Lumine. He caught it and set it ablaze.
"You think that. I made the best possible move I could at the time. You drugged him and he would have been a hazard. Erza, a much cappable wizard, was the best one for me to bring as I know you thought of a way around the dragon slayer magic. Well more like your boss you aren't capable of thinking that much." Lumine said with a smirk throwing something small at high speed.
"What are you doing? Projectiles don't work on me." Maria said with a smile.
"I know but this does," Lumine said throwing another.
"Your dumber then we thought!" Maria laughed.
"More like the other way around." Erza said smuggling catching onto Lumines plan throwing a small rock at Maria.
"Now you to. This will be easy." Maria said as she just stood in the middle of the two. Eventually it looked like she had a dust storm swirling around her.
"Perfect!" She yelled as she pushed her hands outwards and all the rocks stoped.
"Star bomb." Lumine said underneath his breath as Wrza ran towards him. The rocks started exploding one by one but only made small pops in the air.
"Is that all you got?" Maria asked snakily.
"Not at all." Erza said as she stood next to Lumine.
"Mimic: The Knight." Lumine said as he stepped up next to Erza.
"Thousand sword dance!" they both yelled as swords came down from the sky one by one. They preformed a unison raid without even touching. The swords came and came without end in sight. Maria was pinned down as the swords finally stopped.
"What are you going to do to me?" she asked in a shaky voice.
"Turn you in." Lumine said squatting down next to her.
"Who are you anyways I never heard of the mother assassin." Erza asked.
"I hope you know what'll happen to your team right?" Lumine asked as a pair of magic canceling cuffs appeared in his hand.
"Yes." She said as Lumine started cuffing her. Erza a Lumine both escorted her to the authorities. And headed back to the inn.
"Sting wake up!" Natsu yelled as they entered.
"Yelling won't do anything Natsu so stop it." Erza said scaring Natsu to an upright military style position.
"Sting wake up before I force you." Lumine whispered into Stings ear. No response came from Sting.
"Welp guess it's time." Lumine said before giving Sting one swift, hard punch to the stomach.
"Agh. What was that for?" Sting coughed out.
"You really think I would kiss you? What if you were actually dead?" Lumine asked giving him a hug.
"Such the romantic." Sting said sarcastically sitting in a  chair.
"And I went through all the trouble of helping Erza take down the one who drugged you." Lumine said with a fake pouting face.
"Really?" Sting asked.
"Yes. And it would be best if you two stayed here tonight." Erza said.
"Well at least tell the others about what happened." Sting said worried.
"No that would just cause more trouble and that's the last thing we need." Lumine said.
"It's better to be cautious." Sting said.
"But the only people who knew about tonight were us, Rogue, Manirva, and Yukino. How would the people who kidnapped me know where we were going and when?" Lumine asked.
"Watching us." Sting said slightly irritated.
"That's what I'm saying how could they be watching us if the only places we are are with the guild?" Lumine asked.
"How should I know?" Sting was ferrous at this point.
"Now now no need to get all upset over what ifs." Erza interjected.
"You are so unbelievable." Lumine said taking a step back.
"I'm unbelievable? What about you? What you just said is unbelievable." Sting said storming to the door.
"Don't you dare leave." Lumine said running to him "I'm sorry. It was a moment of blind rage. You know I trust everyone in the guild with all my heart."
"Then why did you say that." Sting spat as he stormed outside. Lumine wanted to follow but knew he should give Sting some space. Sting mumbled to himself for about a block before passing out. Wendy and Lucy were chosen to go after him and make sure he was safe. They searched for him but couldn't find any sign of him anywhere.
"We have some bad news." Lucy said walking in.
"We couldn't find him." Wendy said following Lucy.
"What?!" Lumine said standing up.
"Did you check with Sabertooth?" Erza asked pushing Lumine into the chair.
"Yes." Wendy said trying to hold back tears.
"We have to go and look for him!" Lumine said pushing Erza away.
"No we will stay and wait until tomorrow. If he doesn't show up by then than we look for him." Erza said forcing Lumine into a chair.
"Most missing person cases don't get solved because people don't report it right away. We don't know where he is. What if what happened to me happened to him?" Lumine said in a bout of anger.
"It will be fine He is strong enough to take care of himself." Erza said.
"Not when he's fucking drugged and blinded by anger." Lumine retaliated.
"Calm down. He is perfectly capable of taking care of himself." Erza said almost as fierce as Yenrer was with Sting.
"You were the one who said we were never to go anywhere without at least one other person." Lumine said standing abruptly.
"Sit down! You are in no way capable of looking for him! So now what are you thinking of doing?" Erza said so fierce it scared everyone in the guild but Lumine.
"Look for the one who gave me his heart and the man who I gave my heart to. The one who would trust my fucking judgment in a moment when it seems like nothing will go our way. SAVE the man who fucking saved me. The only reason I'm standing here and not tied up in a fucking room is because of him. So if your going to stand in my fucking way so be it. But like I was told, a guild is a family and anyone who messes with one of us messes with all of us." Lumine said standing his ground.
"And how do we know you aren't drugged?" Erza asked not budging.
"If I was I would be acting like Sting. Aloof, out of it, upset over small things, if it wasn't for the fact that I have enough fucking judgment to make a decision that won't harm me I would be out there fucking looking for him. So know do you still want to stand between me and the one who fucking holds my world and I his?" Lumine asked with a slight inaudible snarl.
"Yes, because like I said you are in no position to go look for him. I know you two are in love but that also means you have to trust them enough to know they can take care of themselves." Erza said not moving.
"Then I guess I'll give my fucking secret here at the games like he did with his." Lumine said simply turning away from Erza.
"And what's that?" Erza asked feeling accomplished.
"You'll see soon enough." Lumine said as he stormed off into the inn. He was in the spare room there when a knock on the door startled him. He wanted nothing to do with anyone right now. There was another knock. He just ignored it hoping they would go away.
"Lumine I'm sorry. It must be rough not being able to try and save the people you love but I know how that feels." Erza said through the door. The one person he didn't want anything to do with the most. He just ignored her.
"Please just let me in. I'm sorry for what I said. I'm sorry for what I did but please wait at least until after the games tomorrow." Erza continued.
"Go. Away." Lumine said turning towards the door.
"Please just let me talk to you." Erza said.
"I'm in no mood to talk to you. You should know that. You should know there are only a few things that could make me talk to you and yet you still come here. Just go away." Lumine said turning away from the door.
"Ok. But please come talk to me when you are up to it. I just wanted to say I'm sorry." Erza said as she walked away. Lumine sat back down in the corner he was in. He had sat in the corner with every blanket and pillow from the room there. He just wanted to feel like he was being protected and warm. He started crying just wishing he could change what he said. Another knock came from the door. He ignored it as he tried to stop crying. The knocking continued.
"What?!" He yelled half in anger half sad.
"Can you let me in?" the person said. Lumine crawled out from the pile and opened the door. The person standing there was Wendy with three exceed Lechter, Carla, and Draco.
"Why are you here?" He asked trying to hide the fact he was crying.
"To check in on you. I don't think it's best you be alone." Wendy said bouncing on the ball of her feet.
"Well somethings it is. But in this case I agree with you. I do need someone to talk to." Lumine said letting them in.
"Do you want me to do my trick?" Draco asked as he walked over to the pile of blankets and pillows.
"No that would just make it worse." Carla interjected.
"We all have a reason to be sad. But we're here for Lumine remember." Letcher said.
"Thank you. I just don't know what to do. What if he was kidnapped like me. Or worse." Lumine said as he sat on his pile.
"He's fine I just know he is." Wendy said giving him a hug.
"Besides they need him alive, if he was kidnapped it would be by the same people who did so to you. And they need him alive." Draco said giving him a hug.
"I just want to know who their boss is and why they need people with dragon slayer magic." Lumine said wiping tears from his face.
"Everyone is here for you remember that." Wendy said not being able to think of something to comfort Lumine.
"Wendy, I said I would reveal a secret, well nows sure one hell of a fucking time." Lumine said.
"What do you mean? Wouldn't you rather tell me something important like that with Sting around?" Wendy asked.
"Well this concerns you, Sting, Rogue, Natsu, and Gajeel." Luminesaid standing up. Wendy just looked at him. Lumine took off his shirt.
"NOW CHILD THATS NO WAY TO ACT INFRONT OF A LADY!" Carla yelled seeing this. Lumine ignored it and turned around to show Wendy something on his chest. A large blue tattoo over another one. The one under the blue one was very hard to tell but was a yinyang symbol. The blue one was three claw marks going from the center of his chest to his shoulder.
"This is the secret." Lumine said.
"What is it why did you get your other tatto covered?" Wendy asked.
"Because the blue isn't a tattoo, it's a wound." Lumine said sliding his shirt back on.
"How did you get one that bad?" Wendy asked.
"Because I'm a dragon slayer. Yantra and Yenrer were the two who taught me my magic. But Yenrer went a little crazy after Yantra passed." Lumine said "Yantra passed her magic to me and with her magic came her brandish. The tattoo you see under the scratch. Yenrer swore to kill Acnologia for killing Yantra but was never able to. He lashed out at me before we went through the door. That's how I got the wound. He was tired of seeing a reminder of his failure to protect his sister. He thinks I don't know this but I do. Majority if not all my memories have returned."
"But why keep it a secret?" Wendy asked.
"I can answer that." Draco said looking to Lumine for confirmation.
"Go ahead." Lumine said.
"Because in order for Yenrer to feel accomplished he has to beat the people who beat Acnologia. I just don't know what Lumine has anything to do with it." Draco said.
"So Yenrer, the dragon who raised you, wanted to beat Acnologia but couldn't before we did and now he wants to kill those who killed Acnologia? Well shouldn't we tell the others?" Wendy asked.
"That would just make them on edge even more then they already are. Yenrer is easy to figure out but hard to take down. Only Yantra was able to best him. But the wound he gave me is one that blocks Yantra's full magic. I can still use it just not at it's full capabilities." Lumine said standing up.
"So when are you going to tell the others your a dragon slayer?" Wendy asked standing next to him.
"Tomorrow at the games. But tonight we have to rescue Sting. I'm going to talk to Erza. No mention of my plan to anyone. Wendy, Carla, Letcher, and Draco I'm trusting you." Lumine said as he walked out of the room. At Erza's room he knocked on the door.
"Hey Erza. You still want to talk?" He asked through the door. The door opened to Erza.
"Yes." She said.
"I just wanted to say that Draco and I are going to head back to Sabertooth. And I'm sorry for snapping earlier I just really love Sting." he said.
"It's ok. Why don't you take someone else with you just to be safe." Erza suggested.
"Me and Draco will go by air. Fastest way there." Lumine said as he gave Erza a hug and headed back to his room to gather his things. Once there he instructed Wendy, Carla, and Letcher go on the roof as to not get caught as he left out the front way. He went onto the roof and the five of them headed off. They reached the outskirts of the city before landing.
"So I don't actually have a plan." Lumine said.
"What do you mean?" Wendy asked.
"I planed to sniff him out but I've spent to much time in my blanket pile I don't have it." Lumine said.
"Would there be any other way?" Draco asked.
"We could listen but that takes quite awhile." Lumine answered.
"How about I go to Sabertooth and grab something of his and bring it here?" Letcher asked.
"That's a great idea. I'll go with him." Carla said.
"But we need you with us." Wendy said.
"It'll only take a second." Letcher reassured Wendy. Off the two went to get something of Stings. A few minutes later they returned with a shirt.
"Will this do?" Letcher asked handing the shirt to Lumine.
"Yes," he said sniffing it "Wendy?" He asked holding the shirt out. Wendy sniffed it and the two went running in the same direction with the three exceed in tow. Every now and then Lumine would take another sniff at the shirt and hand it to Wendy to do the same. After a few minutes they reached a building. It was battered and worn but in better condition than the one Lumine was being held in. They approached with caution as they heard footsteps Lumine quickly grabbed everyone and pulled them into the shadows.
"I know your here. But why bring Wendy?" a familiar voice asked.
"I'm sorry Erza. I just couldn't wait. I have to do this." Lumine said appearing out of the shadows with everyone. Wendy has an embarrassed look on her face. Erza looked at all of them.
"Well what are we waiting for?" She asked.
"I thought you would of bashed my skull in and dragged us back to the guild." Lumine said surprised.
"Well you are set on doing this so let's do it." Erza said.
"We need a plan." Wendy said.
"Natsu's plan of storming the place always seems to work." Erza said.
"Hold on. They have Sting. I say we split into two groups. One on attacking one on rescuing." Lumine interjected.
"So who?" Erza asked.
"Draco, Carla, Letcher can I trust getting Sting to you three?" Lumine asked turning to them.
"You know you can count on me." Draco said.
"He is my friend I'll do anything for him." Letcher said.
"Yes but make sure all three of you come back alive." Carla said.
Then it's settled?" Lumine asked.
"Yes." Erza said.
"Let's do it." Wendy said. Lumine walked up first putting up a facade. He knocked and waited for an answer. No response so he knocked again. Still no response so he knocked even louder.
"WHO COULD BE AT THE DOOR AT THIS TIME OF NIGHT!?" a voice yelled from behind the door as it swung open.
"I'm so sorry to disturb you. I'm a traveling sails man and wanted to know if you would be interested in buying one of my wares." Lumine said as nice as he can. The man was clearly drunk and there were two others walking past behind him.
"No. Your just a scammer." the man said before trying to close the door but was stopped by Lumines foot.
"Listen here. Who is in this house?" Lumine asked not changing his bright cheery demeanor but the tone of his voice.
"No one you know. Just some random passes out guy my brother said needed a place to stay." the man responded.
"Well we are looking for my friend. He may have passed out in the streets after leaving a restaurant. Mind if we check if it's him?" Lumine asked completely changed from the cheery attitude to one of a threatening demeanor.
"Pfft no." the man said as he slammed the door. After a minute the door opened just a crack.
"I'm sorry for my husbands behavior. I overheard you wanting to see the man we are currently looking after." a lady whispered through the crack.
"Yes and?" Lumine asked almost ready to punch the door in.
"He wouldn't happen to be a blond man with a scar on his right eyebrow?" the lady asked.
"That sounds like him." Lumine responded.
"Wait here for about five minutes and I'll let you in. My husband is a part of a gang and doesn't like official guild members." the lady whispered before shutting the door. They waited for the five minutes before an upstairs window opened.
"I'm sorry I had to open the window he is asleep in the living room." the lady whispered down to Lumine.
"It's ok. Draco, Letcher?" Lumine whispered. The three of them flew up to the window that the lady was at and sure enough Sting was there in the room. The lady had a plane white night gown on.
"This your friend?" She asked.
"Yes now who are you?" Lumine asked getting somewhat defensive.
"I'm just a housewife. Why have any interest in me?" She responded.
"Just want someone to tell the police about. I have fears about your husband." Lumine responded as he walked over to the door.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"I'll I'm saying is. Get a divorce and do something with your life don't waste it on someone like him." Lumine said as he went to the window and made a motion outside.
"You may be right but I can't." She said as she hurried over to Sting.
"Don't worry about him. Worry about yourself for once. Carly will take you down outside. We will escort you to out guild and you can spend the night there." Lumine said as Carla came through the window.
"But why are you doing all this for me?" She asked.
"Why help me save my friend?" Lumine asked going over to Stings unconscious body.
"Because I can feel that you really love this man." The lady answered helping Lumine untie Sting.
"And I can tell that you want something else with your life." Lumine responded as they finished untieing Sting. Letcher took sting outside.
"So what do you say?" Lumine asked.
"I'll do it." the lady said. Carla took the lady outside and Draco took Lumine. Once outside the group made their way to the FairyTail guild, Lumine carrying Sting, Erza walking with an arm around Wendy, the three exceed walking infront of them, and the lady in the very front. Once at the inn Lumine went into his room with Sting. He laid him down on the bed and returned to the pile in the corner. Everyone rested peacefully that night. Sting woke up with a shock. He looked around knowing where he was but also not knowing.
"What I was going to Sabertooth. How am I here?" Sting asked himself not seeing the pile Lumine was sleeping on.
"Because your welcome." Lumine said stretching still half asleep.
"What happened?" Sting asked removing the blanket. He was dressed in pajama pants and a baggy shirt.
"You were an old lady." Lumine said standing rubbing his face.
"I'm sorry what?" Sting asked.
"Sleepy Lumine note processing." Lumine explained as he walked over to the closet.
"Well at least tell me later." Sting said getting up and walking next to him.
"Ok." Lumine said as he started getting dressed for the games. He slipped out of his pajama bottoms and into his shorts. Next he took his shirt off and slipped the other one on. Sting saw the tattoos but made no comment of it. After Sting got dressed they went down to the lobby and left with the guild to the games.
"WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!!" the announcer yelled.
"Sorry to have you here so early but this days event will be a long one." Jellal said.
"AND OUR SPECIAL GUEST A VISITOR FROM ANOTHER KINGDOM. THE STRONGEST WARRIOR AND THEIR EMISSARY, YENRER!!" The announcer yelled. Lumine heard this and woke up completely with a little jump. Sting placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him even if it was just on the outside.
"Why is he here?" Lumine growled low and quietly to himself.
"Today we let our guest here pick the event. And well we're sorry to have to say but it's the last event of the games." Jellal said. As all the teams walked out.
"May I explain the event and its rules?" Yenrer asked.
"Go right ahead." Jellal responded.
"It is simple and easy. The event is capture the flag. With a twist. Everyone in the guild is allowed to participate. There are five points throughout the city and the nearby region designed to be your flag spot. Once each one has been handed out I will explain the rules." Yenrer said. The spots were decided by random selection. FairyTail/Sabertooth was given the arena, Lamia Scale/Blue Pegasus was given the center of the city, Mermaid Heel/Phoenix was given the lake just south of the city, Valkery/Angel was given the forest east of the city, and Basilisk/Chimaera was given the field north of the city.
"Now onto the rules. Each team will have four flags at the start of the game each flag grabbed earns your team a point and an extra flag. Once your team is out of flags your out completely. If you are caught carrying a flag from a team they may steal it back and capture you. Captured cannot participate until carried back to their base and set a five minute penalty. If a team runs out of flags and you are captured you are now a part of the team that captured you. There is a grace period used for planning and defense. Once that grace period is up you may go to any other flag you want. The amount of flags is the amount of people who may remain in your base at one time unless during the grace period, captured, or placing a flag that was stolen. Magic is allowed. But once captured you can choose to forfeit you five minute penalty with a ten minute no magic penalty." Yenrer explained. With that being said everyone went to their base.
