They made it back to Magnolia with ease. Lumine set Sting down behind the guild hall as he fell. Lumine got up and dusted himself off.
"Hey guys we're back." Sting said as he entered.
"Who's with you?" Lucy asked.
"Before I say anything it was all Erzas idea." Sting said smiling at Erza.
"Who is we?" Erza asked.
"I don't know. who is we?" Lumine asked stepping out from behind Sting. Lucy face lit up with a mix of joy and sadness as she ran to hug Lumine. Erza tried to sneak her way out of the guild but couldn't. She was in the center of the guild.
"Don't be mad at Erza just yet." Sting said.
"It was my idea to prank someone. I just wanted it to be Sting. Erza was the one who made it the entire guild." Lumine said with a grin. Erza has a look that could scare an entire dark guild into surrendering, but Lumine took no notice to it. He walked over to Mira.
"Hey Mira. I have a question." Lumine said.
"Yeah. What is it?" Mira responded.
"Is the master here?" Lumine asked ignoring Erzas yells.
"No he will be back tomorrow." Mira answered.
"I have something to ask him. I guess it can wait. If he returns before tomorrow I'll be at Sabertooth." Lumine said walking away.
"I will send a message." Mira said happily. Lumine walked out with Sting and headed to the train station. The two of them ran into Wendy and Natsu returning from a job.
"Hi." Wendy said in her usual happy voice.
"NATSU!" Lumine yelled scaring both Sting and Wendy.
"LUMINE!" Natsu yelled in return.
"Must you two yell?" Sting asked.
"YES!" the two yelled in unison. Lumine and Natsu hugged each other. Wendy was still scared of them yelling.
"You two are idiots." Sting said under his breath.
"I HEARD THAT!" Lumine yelled letting go of Natsu.
"Your my idiot." Sting said emphasizing 'my'.
"I am no ones idiot. I'm a free idiot." Lumine said in retaliation.
"Than what about what happened on the mountain?" Sting asked smugly.
"That was just us getting permission. I never said I would. And you certainly didn't either." Lumine said.
"But who says I didn't think about it? Or you didn't think about it?" Sting asked.
"Just because it was thought about doesn't mean that it'll happen. And besides what if we decided not to?" Lumine asked just as smug as Sting.
"Will you two stop it? Your bickering like a married couple." Wendy interjected. Lumine started laughing causing Sting to laugh.
"What's so funny?" Natsu asked clueless. Carly already knew what they were talking about while Happy and the two dragon slayers remained clueless. Lumine finally calmed down enough to speak.
"Why would you say that?" Lumine asked still laughing slightly.
"What?" Wendy asked.
"Us married? We only been dating for what two months?" Sting said giving Lumine a hug.
"Two and a half tomorrow." Lumine corrected.
"Still that's to early to be married." Sting said.
"Where are you two off to?" Carla asked.
"Sabertooth." Lumine said.
"Well enjoy yourselves. Until we meet again." Sting waves as they entered the station. They boarded the train and Lumine fell asleep on Stings shoulder. Sting had motion sickness the entire time. Lumine did to but his way around that was by sleeping. Eventually they made it to their destination. The two got off and walked to Sabertooth.
"You slept the entire time." Sting said entering the guild.
"It's my way around the motion sickness." Lumine said.
"Still how can you just sleep through that. When I'm suffering?" Sting asked jokingly.
"Someone has to wake me up." Lumine answered.
"Still. That's mean." Sting said.
"Hey Lumine." Rogue said without any sign of sadness or joy. Almost the rest of the guild lit up at the mention of his name. The only person who didn't was a new member.
"YOUR BACK!" Yukino yelled as she gave him a hug.
"Yes I am." Lumine said trying to keep on his feet.
"We thought you died." Yukino said behind tears.
"Sting should I?" Lumine whispered steeping to him after Yukino released him. Sting just nodded his head.
"I have an announcement so if everyone will listen." Lumine said.
"What is it?" Yukino asked.
"On the island something I wished to keep a secret came to light. Sting saw it with his own eyes. There is a legend among dragons and dragon slayers known as The Prince, a dragon even stronger than Acnologia, and yet weaker than the celestial spirit Nikolai. The Prince is a dragon that is capable of many things. It is also the dragon god. It's distinct rainbow scales and golden eyes are how it's identified. I am The Prince. The dragon god. Death has no power over me. As witnessed just after the games, if I take a hit meant to kill I will go into a coma. Even god slayer magic has no affect on me." Lumine explained. Everyone was dead silent.
"Pfft like anyone would believe that!" the new guild members laughed.
"Believe If you want to. Just remember, Sitra, if you anger me I won't hold back." Lumine said without any change in his voice. He turned to the job board and Sting noticed something. The light blue dragon wing tattoo on Lumines arm. He looked over the board.
"Nothing really pops out here. I'm going to FairyTail, I'll return in about a week if I don't get a job." Lumine said over his shoulder as he walked out.
"Did he seem different to you?" Yukino asked Rogue.
"Somewhat. He talks and acts the same but the magic coming from him is completely different." Rogue answered.
"It's the prince. And we got a new member?" Sting interjected.
"Yes. Her name is Sitra." Yukino answered.
"Well I'm going to be in my office. I need to prepare for next week." Sting said.
"What's next week?" Yukino asked.
"It's a secret. Lumine is also getting me information so it doesn't clash with any of FairyTails events." Sting answered walking off.
Lumine bored a train headed for Magnolia. Halfway through the ride the train stopped suddenly.
"Please stay calm this is just a minor delay." the conductor said over the intercom. Lumine could hear the shaking in his voice. He wanted to help but knew he couldn't if the train started to move. He stayed in his seat and tried to fall back to sleep. The train was most empty there were only about five people excluding him in the train car. Someone entered and sat across from Lumine. Lumine knew the person sat but still tried to fall asleep.
"So your the one who won the grand magic games for Sabertooth. Thought you would be more, tough." the man said.
"What did you just say?" Lumine asked lifting an eye.
"You look weak. And its obvious that you are. I mean look at you. No muscle. Falling asleep on a train. And your almost always seen with another dragon slayer." the man said.
"I'm guessing you're the one who stopped the train. Who is with you because I can tell there are more people just outside this train car." Lumine said not moving a muscle.
"No one. I just wanted a talk with you." the man answered.
"Let's get the train going and maybe I'll talk." Lumine said sarcastically.
"I know dragon slayers have extreme motion sickness." the man said.
"Yeah. I don't want to talk to a stranger. Now get lost." Lumine said slightly agitated.
"It'll be quick." The man said.
"Not going to happen. I need to get to where I'm going. And you are causing a delay. Get this train going and maybe I'll talk with you. Don't and I'll head the rest of the way on foot." Lumine said standing up.
"And what if I tell you that all the passengers will be in danger if you leave." the man said with a dark smile.
"Hell if I care. I know you aren't stupid enough to do something like that. Especially not between the two strongest guilds. Or with the Mimic on board." Lumine said walking away.
"Do it." the man said and the train started to move again. Lumine lost his balance and fell. His motion sickness kicked in right away. The train started heading in a direction it wasn't set for. Several hours later the train finally stopped. Lumine got up and looked around, the train was empty. He stepped off into the platform. It was completely dark, he couldn't see so he clicked his tong. Every few feet he clicked his tong and walked. Eventually he found the exit. It lead to a wide dark wooded area. He figured a dark guild had taken the train and its passengers. He caught a smell he thought was familiar. He followed it to a building. He knew right away it was a trap and he fell for it. He continued on anyways, play with them before returning to Magnolia.
"Hello anyone here?" Lumine yelled as he entered.
"Welcome to the Spider queens domane." a voice came from the hall to Lumines left. He knew left was the right way.
"Well I hope you know what your up against." Lumine said with a smile. He went left, something was wrong with him.
"Of course I do. What kind of queen would I be if I didn't know of possible aggressions?" the voice laughed. Lumine kept following the voice. He eventually made it to an empty room. The only light was a single candle on the other side of the room. Lumine could tell that it was a trap. He pulled it anyways. The floor opened and he fell. He landed on a giant spiderweb.
"Hmhmhm. You fell for it." the voice laughed again.
"No. Your just very obvious. I only fell for it to fight you." Lumine said with a smirk.
"Oh? Well prepare to die." the spider queen said coming into view. She had long purple-black hair.
"I thought you knew who I am? Obviously your information is wrong or not up to date." Lumine said as he stood up.
"How? This is a spiderweb made by my magic. Oh well, we stall have something you want." she laughed.
"If it's my guild members I don't care. If it's Sting then you won't even see this fight." Lumine said with a calm face.
"Well, well, well. Good job. You actually managed to capture him Widow. I'll take it from here." another voice said as she backed away.
"Another one?" Lumine asked.
"Yes. And please allow me to introduce myself. I am scorpa of the scorpion." she said stepping into the light.
"Well do you know who I am?" Lumine asked smugly.
"Lumine Tenebris, the mimic. Also known as The Prince to the dragons, and the bringer of night to others." Scorpa said.
"So you did your research. Partly. I'm the terror in the night, The Prince, and the mimic. Do you know my magic?" Lumine corrected.
"Mimicry. And dragon slayer magic. Are what's known right now." Scorpa said.
"You know how it works? Or do you need a demonstration?" Lumine asked still being smug.
"Remember what we have." Scorpa said with a smile.
"I know who you are. Took some time but I figured it out. Scorpa of the poison trio. Widow the spider. And montra the moth. Said to be the most poisonous there are." Lumine said with a laugh.
"May I ask why are you shoeless?" Scorpa asked.
"No. May I ask why you have my family?" Lumine asked.
"Relax. They are safe. For now. And if you want them free you should probably keep your cool. After all our strongest is with them." Scorpa said.
"Montra. I presume. After all you are a close range and Widow is one to trap. But how do you trap that which cannot be trapped?" Lumine said smugly.
"Do you want to see them again or not?" Scorpa asked impatiently.
"What do I need to do?" Lumine asked.
"Tell is the truth behind your powers. Three magics all strong enough to overthrow a kingdom in one body. You are strong enough to rule the entire world and yet you don't. Why is that?" Scorpa asked.
"The truth? That's a hefty price. Some truths are meant to be secret. My powers for example. All I can say is that I can copy anyone and anything." Lumine said with a smirk.
"What else?" Scorpa said.
"I'm not saying until I have proof my friends are safe. And if I reveal anything else I might have to kill you." Lumine said stepping forward.
"I know this is The Prince. You are a kind person but will kill to protect his friends and family. Let's see if you are true to that promise." Scorpa said.
"The Prince has gold eyes. These are the same that they always been. Do your research. And next time make a threat that is believable." Lumine said with a smile.
"You really want to go there don't you? If you start a fight you'll only have seven minutes to save your friends. And you would have to fight us." Scorpa said.
"Ma'am boss wants you to guard out captives. She wants to talk with this one." Widow interrupted.
"Very well." Scorpa said walking off into a room. Seconds later another walked in.
"Montra." Lumine said with a smug grin.
"Lumine Tenebris. How nice to see you. Do you know who we have?" Montra responded.
"One moment," Lumine took a sniff "Sting, Natsu, and Wendy. Three of the dragon slayers. You know there are five?" Lumine answered.
"Yes I'm well aware of that. And why aren't you including the second generation dragon slayers?" Montra responded.
"Because you have the first generation. If you had either of them I'd include them. And I know you aren't capable of capturing Cobra or Laxus. You tricked Sting, and you used force on Wendy and Natsu. I am well aware of your magic and I am also prepared to counter your magic." Lumine answered.
"There is no need for force. We will hand them over without any harm given you just need to follow our instructions." Montra said.
"A prince does not take orders from someone holding his friends captive. A prince does what he can to save them. Now hand them over before you cause trouble for yourself." Lumine said.
"I know your fighting style. You always put your hair up when serious and it's down. Are you not taking us serious?" Montra asked.
"Not yet I'm not. Now hand them over before you cause trouble. You don't want to fight me." Lumine said cracking his knuckles.
"And if we don't?" Montra asked with a smirk.
"This fight will be over within a heartbeat." Lumine said.
"Scorpa is with them you don't want the poisoned. Do you?" Montra asked.
"Scorpa is a close range fighter. Rush her and get her away their safe. Your a long range keep up a barrier and your done. Widow is a trapper she won't be much of a problem." Lumine said with a smile.
"But will it be that easy. You first need to get out of Widows web. And through the door. How long will that take? And there is also the possibility of me poisoning you." Montra said.
"HA! YOU POISON THE ONE WHO CAN EAT IT? HOW FUNNY!" Lumine laughed.
"Why are you yelling?" Montra asked covering her ears.
"Because that got his attention. And just you wait." Lumine said with a smirk.
"Who's?" Montra asked ready to attack.
"Solid air." Lumine said offering no explanation.
"I asked you a question. Now answer it." Montra growled.
"Mine." Cobra said landing on the air above Lumine.
"And Who are you?" Montra asked with a laugh.
"The poison dragon slayer. And the one he screamed for." Cobra answered.
"Like you can do anything to us. The poison trinity. Scorpa get out here!" Montra responded. Scorpa ran out of the room.
"Yes ma'am." Scorpa said.
"Deal with these fools. I'll watch the captives. Don't let me down." Montra instructed leaving the room. Scorpa reared up for an attack. She lunges at Cobra.
"Cubellios." Cobra said as the purple snake made its way down to the web. Cobra stepped to the side out of Scorpas attack.
"Thank you." Lumine said as Cubellios made its way through the web. The web broke and Lumine stood up. Cobra kept dodging Scorpas attacks.
"Will you just stand still?" Scorpa asked in anger knowing the answer.
"Mimic: Cobra." Lumine said stepping onto solid ground.
"What? How?" Scorpa asked even angrier.
"Step aside. And maybe you'll live." Lumine said walking to the door. Scorpa spit a purple liquid at Lumine. It hit his clothing and fell onto the floor.
"Ha. You better save them. And rub it in Natsu's face." Cobra laughed. Lumine walked through the door leaving Scorpa to Cobra.
"I knew she would disappoint me." Montra said.
"Where are they?" Lumine asked.
"Now why would I tell you that. You only have three minutes to live anyway." Montra answered.
"Poison has no affect on my physically Scorpa can tell you that. And you were to busy trying to keep me busy to realize what I have on. Poison scales." Lumine said pulling his hair back.
"So now your serious. Let's dance." Montra said with a smirk.
"But we're fighting not dancing. And I am not interested in you." Lumine said finishing with his hair. The purple scaled shirt changed. He now had a green shirt.
"So your making yourself weak to poison. Lucky me." Montra said. She lunges at Lumine.
"Jade dragons fist." Lumine said holding out his fist. Montra hit it as hard as she could to no avail. Lumine showed no sign of movement. Montra was hit from behind.
"Show yourself you coward!" she yelled.
"I'm right here." he said as several stepped out from the shadows.
"What is this?" she asked unamused.
"Combined magic: element quartet." the jade one answered.
"I'll take all of you down." she said focusing on the one to get right.
"Mimic: The Knight." he said as she rushed towards him. He now had on an armor similar to Erzas flame empress armor but it was purple and built for a man.
"Like armor will stop me." she said aiming a kick for his head.
"Poison blade dance." he said with a smirk. Several blades shot up from the ground all in the path of Montra. She jumped out of the way and aimed a projectile at him.
"Blinding blackout show." The one to her right said. A flash of light came from him then complete darkness. Scuffling could be heard as Cobra and Scorpa were battling in the next room. Many small flashes of light came all at once and the room was lit again. Montra was in the center of the room this time there were three Lumines in the room.
"Where did the fourth one go?!" Montra yelled.
"Like we would ever tell you." the jade one said.
"Should we?" the armored one asked.
"I say yes." said the one that caused the blackout.
"Combined magic: jade dragons blinding blackout dancing swords." the three said in unison. All around the room blades came from the ground and the air then disappeared to return in a new spot. Montra was hit several times before it stopped. She was out cold in the middle of the room. The room went dark and more scuffling was heard. The lights returned and Montra was left in the room alone. All four Lumines in the next room. The three captives Dragon slayers were all unconscious tied up.
"Choose wisely. The others might not survive the fall that they are above. Especially since they can't do anything like that." Widow said standing behind them.
"Four of us. Three of them. Plus an enemy. This will be easy." the four of them said in order.
"But if one of you is even a second late they will fall. I have nothing to fight with so if you get them your free to go. All you need is to find your way out." Widow said.
"Jade on Widow. Knight on Sting. Black light on Natsu. Mimic on Wendy." the jade one said.
"Understood." the other three said in unison.
"Three. Two. One." the jade one said. On one they all sprinted forward each one grabbing who they were told in unison.
"Well done. Well done. But it was a mistake grabbing me." Widow said. She then bit the shoulder of the one holding her down. He let go and the other three disappeared as he grabbed his shoulder.
"Ow!" Lumine yelled out.
"Five minutes to live." Widow laughed.
"Wendy! Natsu! Sting! Get up!" Lumine yelled still holding his shoulder. Sting stirred a little but didn't wake up.
"Those webs are a sleeping web. No one can wake up in them." Widow laughed. Lumine let out another yell of pain as something touched his shoulder. Cubellios wrapped its self around Lumine.
"Cubellios?" Lumine asked aloud.
"A snake, how cute? You'll die and give another life something to eat." Widow laughed again.
"That's it. Mimic: Cobra." Lumine said as the door to the room opened.
"Widow kill them. Don't let anyone leave this place. And kill that snake." Montra said having a hard time walking.
"Yes ma'am." Window said as she turned to Sting.
"LAY A FINGER ON HIM AND ALL OF YOU DIE! CUBELLIOS HELP PROTECT THEM!" Cobra yelled from the other room. The snake unwrapped itself from Lumine and went straight for Widow. Widow tried to bite Sting but was smacked by something.
"So your a pest are you? Nothing can escape me. Spiderwebbed." Widow said as Cubellios snaked its way out of the attack.
"You think you can get a snake in that web? All I have to say is thanks for showing me your magic." Lumine laughed. Montra sent several projectiles at Lumine. They all missed. Montra hit the ground with a thud. Cobra was behind her in the doorway.
"Sorry I'm late. Shall we?" Cobra said stepping over Montra.
"Dark web!" Widow yelled as Cobra ducked down. He walked to Lumine.
"Do you mind? I can remove the poison." Cobra asked.
"Go ahead." Lumine answered. Cobra put his mouth to Lumines shoulder. The wound was covered in blood but no poison remained in Lumines body.
"Now please do the honors." Cobra said standing up straight.
"Combined magic's: poison dragons dark web." Lumine said as he help out his hand in Widows direction. A large purple web set its way for Widow.
"You think a web can hold a spider? How pathetic." Widow laughed. She jumped through one of the holes in it barely scrapping it. The poison left one long mark on her leg where she touched it.
"Don't move or it'll spread. Tell us how to remove the webs." Lumine instructed.
"Like I'd tell you that. Spiders you may dance now." Widow sang out. Hundreds of spiders came from the ceiling.
"Dark presence." Lumine said. All the spiders fled.
"What did you do?" Widow asked shocked.
"A magic only nonhuman creatures can feel. Made them flee. Now tell us before I force it out of you." Lumine answered.
"Never." Widow said with a sting in her voice.
"I'm not one to be messed with." Lumine said walking to Widow.
"And I'm not scared of you." Widow spat.
"Cobra do you have anything to say, or any disagreement?" Lumine asked.
"Non at all." Cobra answered.
"So be it. One last chance or you will have a broken arm." Lumine said.
"Do it you don't scare me." Widow spat. Lumine grabbed her arm and pushed it behind her back and between he shoulder blades.
"You sure. Because I can and will force it out of you. Even if it takes all day." Lumine said with a smile. Putting more pressure on her arm.
"I'll only say it's effects are fast." Widow said with a laugh. Lumine pushed harder.
"I can hear cracking." Cobra said with a smile.
"Like I said you don't scare me, and neither does any of my bones braking." Widow laughed.
"Found it." Cobra said stepping to her.
"What? Your brain?" Widow asked sarcastically.
"Nope the way to remove the web. Didn't do any research on me did you?" Cobra laughed.
"I'd still like to hear her say it." Lumine said adding more pressure to her arm.
"Ow! Alright alright. Just cut it but don't touch it." Widow said.
"Good girl. Now sleep." Lumine said with one swift punch to her back. He made a knife using ice maker magic and handed it to Cobra then made one for himself. The two cut the webs off of the three on the floor.
"STING WAKE UP!" Lumine yelled nudging him with his foot.
"Do you need to yell?" Cobra asked shaking Wendy.
"Yes. How else am I supposed to wake him up, slap him? Actually that's not a bad idea." Lumine answered. He kneeled beside Sting ready to hit him.
"Don't do that. Just pick him up and carry him out of here I got Natsu." Cobra said.
"Aww. But this probably one of the only times I get to hit him. He's my guild master. Just once?" Lumine begged.
"No. Wendy your up. Good. Do you think their is a way to get these two up?" Cobra asked her.
"Not off the top of my head." Wendy answered.
"I'm telling you just hurt them." Lumine said.
"I'll let you hit Natsu. Once we are outside." Cobra said.
"That's no fun. I do that all the time." Lumine responded.
"I'm up. And wow you want to hit me." Sting said getting up.
"Yep. Only because I don't get to enough. Natsu it's literally every time I get back to FairyTail." Lumine said.
"Just wake up Natsu and let's get going. Understood?" Sting instructed.
"It's understood. Master Sting." Lumine said teasingly. He crouched down next to Natse and slapped him with enough force it made Cobra flinch. Natsu sat bolt upright.
"OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" Natsu yelled.
"To get you up. Your also might want to check if your missing any teeth." Lumine said with a smile.
"You didn't need to be that rough." Wendy said walking to Natsu. The five of them made their way outside into the woods.
"Now how do we get home?" Wendy asked.
"We got you covered." Angel said with a smile from behind them.
"Where are we going?" Lumine asked suspiciously.
"Magnolia." Angel answered.
"Just get on the death trap." Natsu said pushing Lumine to Angel.
"I'm not getting on any death trap." Lumine protested standing his ground.
"It's just a way to get back home." Sting sighed.
"Still not getting on it." Lumine said planting himself in place.
"Just get on." Cobra said.
"Hey what if you know, I can fly, or like use area magic? I am a Mimic." Lumine said not moving an inch.
"And how would you know how to get back to Magnolia?" Sting asked.
"Follow the direction I know. I am not stupid." Lumine said.
"Just. Get. On." Natsu said still trying to push Lumine.
"Give it up I'm not getting on that death trap." Lumine said.
"Do I have to pull that card?" Sting asked with a sigh.
"You know how I am. Unless I can sleep comfortably I don't go on it." Lumine said as Sting walked up to him.
"Just get on it. We already spent to much time here. Stop being stubborn." Sting said.
"Like I said earlier it's not like I can fly or anything. And I'm not stubborn." Lumine replied.
"Just get on it." Natsu interjected.
"You're being stubborn right now." Sting said.
"Then leave without me. Don't worry about me. I may be small but I can throw Elfman across Magnolia. Without using magic." Lumine responded.
"Why are you so contempt on not going with us?" Angel asked.
"Reasons. I don't have to explain myself." Lumine answered.
"Fine. But if you don't return to either guild by sunset I'm looking for you. Got that?" Sting huffed.
"Got it, and you know my magic. I'll be in Magnolia before you know it." Lumine said with a smile.
"Wait, What is your magic?" Angel asked.
"A particular magic that can't be learned fast." Lumine said with a smile.
"Hurry up and go before I drag you with us." Sting said.
"Ok." Lumine said with a smile as two light blue almost clear wing appeared behind him. He went up and disappeared. As soon as he got above the trees he could see Magnolia in the distance. He headed in that direction without delay. Once there he landed in front of the guild hall and waited. Erza walked out after five minutes.
"Oh Lumine your here. Now all we need is Natsu." Erza said once she saw Lumine.
"What?" Lumine asked snapping back to reality.
"Nothing. Master wants to talk to you and some of the other guild members but he needs all of them. Do you know where Natsu is?" Erza responded.
"Yes he's on his way back with Wendy." Lumine answered.
"They went on a mission? That's right to take down the poison triad. How do you know their returning now?" Erza asked.
"I finished their mission. They got captured and I was kidnapped to say the least. They aren't anything special. Hardest thing to deal with was Widows sleeper webs." Lumine answered.
"Oh. Well might as well tell the master that your here. And let Sting know that for the next week or two that you'll be busy." Erza told him.
"Oh he's on his way here with Natsu and Wendy." Lumine said with a smile.
"Why?" Erza asked suspiciously.
"He was kidnapped to. And he didn't want me to fly him back to Sabertooth." Lumine answered scratching the back of his head. Erza just noticed what was on his arm.
"What is that on your arm?" she asked.
"Oh. This is another ability from my dragon slayer magic. I was taught by Yenrer how to transform into a dragon and still keep my humanity. This is just a small side effect of that. A dragon wing tattoo. But I can summon wings even as a human." Lumine answered.
"Good you made it here." a voice said from behind him.
"Yes I'm alive. And I'm going to busy for the next week or two. Or that's what Erza told me." Lumine said not turning around.
"Why is that?" he asked.
"I don't know but I'm going to be told right now." Lumine said walking into the guild. Noisy as usual. He walked to the bar and took a seat next to master Makarov.
"So your back. Is Natsu?" Makarov asked.
"Yes he's outside with Erza, Wendy, and Sting." Lumine answered as the doors opened again.
"Master all of them are here." Erza said as she crossed the hall. Lumine stood up.
"Do you need me to quiet them?" he asked.
"Yes please." Makarov answered.
"On it. SHUT YOUR TRAPS BEFORE I MAKE ALL OF YOU!" Lumine yelled. Everyone went dead silent. The only noise was Erzas footsteps.
"Everyone I have an announcement. The S-class tests will be held this week and go until everyone is finished with them. This year the testers will be Levy, Cana, Freed, Natsu, and Lumine." Makarov said. Whispers were sent across the guild.
"Are you sure? I only joined about four months ago. There are more people who have been a member longer than I have and are more deserving of this spot." Lumine asked Makarov.
"Yes. This years test will be somewhat different. There are five clients who have agreed to help test them. We have five S-class test missions. Each one will be given a mission and a S-class wizard will watch the mission and their progress. You are permitted one partner from an official guild that needs to be approved by both I and the master of the guild and is not another tester or a S-class wizard. You have until the end of the week to prepare." Makarov finished.
"I still don't feel like I should be a part of this but if you insist. I will return by tomorrow with a partner hopefully. I will accompany Sting back to Sabertooth." Lumine said.
"Go right ahead. But remember the conditions." Makarov said. Lumine walked out of the guild and to the train station.
"Makarov if I may ask, why did you include Lumine in the test?" Sting asked.
"Because his magic and how adaptable he is with it. If he applied himself he could be one of the ten wizard saints." Makarov answered.
"Well if that's all I must be returning I wish you all luck. I will send Lumine back tomorrow with or without a partner." Sting said as he left the guild to catch up to Lumine. At the train station Lumine was sitting at a bench waiting for the train to arrive.
"Don't bother I already bought your ticket." he said as he saw Sting in line to buy one.
"Oh you did? And here I thought you didn't want to take the train." Sting said as he sat next to Lumine.
"I don't want to alone. With you I at least have a pillow." Lumine said jokingly.
"Is that all I am? You always sleep on me." Sting responded with the same way Lumine said.
"I can't help it if your the one who is so soft. Besides I only do it on the train. That's how I deal with the motion sickness." Lumine said laying his head on Stings shoulder. The train arrived just as Lumine set his head on Stings shoulder. The two got up and boarded the train. They took their seats.
"You want me to use Troia on you?" Lumine asked as they sat.
"What's that?" Sting asked.
"So you don't get motion sick. One of Wendy's spells." Lumine answered.
"If you can." Sting said. Lumine used it on the both of them.
"There now we can both actually experience a normal train ride." Lumine said with a smile. Another person sat across from them but they didn't care. The train was crowded and it was only two of them. They sat there joking with each other.
"Do you need a haircut? It's getting very long." Sting asked about halfway through the ride.
"Who can cut hair tougher than dragon scales? I'll wait until we're off the train and do it at home." Lumine answered.
"Ok. All I'm saying is it makes you look more like a girl. Why not cut it short?" Sting said.
"That's like asking you to go bald. I'm not cutting it short. Shortest I ever cut it was to the bottom of my ears. It's going to shoulder length. Never say that again." Lumin said leaning on Sting. Sting leaned over and kissed him.
"Ugh." the man across from them said.
"I'm sorry sir. Is there a problem?" Lumine asked after they kissed.
"Yes." the man said snarky.
"What is it?" Lumine asked still oblivious as Sting tried to get his attention.
"You." the man responded.
"Well I'm sorry. What is it that's bothering you?" Lumine asked.
"Just drop the conversation bubs." Sting whispered to Lumine.
"You two. It's disgusting." the man said.
"I'm sorry. Did you just say disgusting? We aren't doing anything that affects you. All we are doing is talking to each other. Our relationship doesn't affect you in the least bit. I wouldn't sit her and be disgusted if you kissed a girl because your relationship with someone doesn't affect me. It doesn't involve me. So I'm sorry if love disgusts you but please refrain from nothing me or my boyfriend again." Lumine responded much nicer than Sting expected him to.
"What guild do you belong to?" the man asked angrily.
"I have no obligation to tell you What guild I am a part of unless you are a client." Lumine responded. "I wouldn't be surprised if you aren't in one if you are this rude." The man said as he turned and stared out the window. The rest of the ride was quiet. Once at their destination Lumine and Sting got off and headed straight for Sabertooth. They bumped into Yukino.
"Hey you two. I'm heading out on a mission and won't return for about a week." Yukino said as they passed her.
"Ok be safe." Sting said as they continued on. Once at the guild Lumine finally stopped. He turned to Sting and hugged him. Lumine started crying as Sting returned the hug.
"Let's go to our secret spot so people don't see you like this." Sting whispered as they walked around the guild. They slipped into an opening in the cliff wall. Inside Lumine sat down and wiped his face off.
"You want to know something?" Sting asked him.
"What?" Lumine answered.
"Me and Makarov had the same idea. You being an S-class wizard. You are strong enough to be one. But it's up to you if you want to be one. Makarov took that a step further. He said you could be a wizard saint if you put yourself to it. He sees a great thing in you and wants you to get it. So I don't mind if you take a Sabertooth member with you on your test just go show them what your made of. Just promise me this, if you don't give it your all don't participate in Sabertooths S-class test." Sting told him.
"But there are others who are far more deserving of being S-class. I have only been a member for a little over two months. I'm sure there are members who have been here for two years and never had the chance to take the test. But this isn't why I was crying." Lumine said. L
"Is it what happened in the train?" Sting asked. Lumine just shook his head.
"You know that guy is going to do that now that he knows it bothers you. Just forget the incident and forget him. It's like you said our relationship doesn't affect anyone but ourselves. Let's go find you a test partner." Sting said holding out his hand.
"Yeah lets go." Lumine said taking Stings hand with a smile. The two walked back to the front and entered.
"Manirva? It's a rare sight to see you." Lumine said as soon as he saw her.
"Yes it is, but seeing as FairyTails S-class tests are coming up I wanted to wish you luck. As for me I can't help you all I can say is hope you don't get him. Master Sting may I speak to you for a moment?" Manirva returned.
"Go ahead Sting. I already know who I'm going to ask so I'll come find you when I'm done." Lumine said with a smile as he walked off into the guild.
"What is it Manirva?" Sting asked.
"All I have to say is keep an eye on Sitra and Lumine. Those two have some history. It's just that no one knows what it is. Just be careful with those two. I have a mission to go on I won't be returning for about a month. I'm sorry I'll miss the testing unless your going to do what FairyTails doing." Manirva said.
"No I'm not. It's fine because our test won't be held for a month anyways. As for Lumine and Sitra there is definitely something that happened between them. I'll keep an eye on them but Lumine also has his test next week." Sting responded.
"I'll be off. Hope everything is alright." Manirva said walking out of the guild.
Lumine approached Sitra wanting her to be his test partner.
"What do you want? Spread more lies?" Sitra asked.
"I'm not asking for you to believe me about that. All I'm saying is believe it or don't it's up to you. I actually came to ask you something." Lumine answered.
"And that is?" Sitra asked.
"FairyTail is having their S-class test and I need a partner. I thought it could be you. What do you say?" Lumine answered.
"Now what's in it for me? Your the one becoming an S-class wizard. I'm not even a member of FairyTail. And it also depends on what we are doing. I will not help you if it's a contest but if it's say, a race, I might be willing to help." Sitra answered.
"The test is an S-class mission. Me, a partner, and a S-class wizard. Me and my partner will be watched and the only time we interact with the other wizard is to be evaluated or if the situation gets out of hand to help us. As for the benefits. You will see my magic, and have experience in an S-class mission. There is more but I can't think of anyway to tell you. Think it over. I'm leaving tomorrow, if you are going to be my partner you have until midnight. After that the offer is off the table and handed to someone else. You know where to find me." Lumine answered.
"Ha. Go figures. Why not ask someone from FairyTail?" Sitra responded.
"Because I want to see how strong my niece is. And if you have anything interesting up your sleeve." Lumine answered. Sitra was shocked that he knew she was his niece but hid it behind a smirk. Lumine walked off back to Sting.
"I'll be in the practice room if you need me. If Sitra asks for me send her there. I will only come out if we are attacked or to rest." Lumine told Sting as he walked off to one of the upper levels. He entered a room and closed the door. Sting stood thinking to himself for a moment then walked over to Sitra.
"Hello. I'm Sting. Master of Sabertooth. I don't think we formally met before." he said.
"Sitra. This is our first time actually meeting. Lumine said he was going into the training room right? I wish to talk to him." Sitra responded.
"Yes. But may I ask you a question?" Sting answered.
"What is it?" Sitra said standing up.
"What did Lumine ask you? It's understandable if you don't want to tell me I'm just a little curious. I can tell be the gleam in your eyes that he said something that shocked you." Sting said.
"It's not what he asked me it's what he said. That's all I'll say at the time. He has a right to his privacy and so do I. I wish to keep what he said a secret until he is ready to tell." Sitra said before walking off. Her orange hair was in a bun. As she walked off Sting saw a orange wing tattoo on her back, one similar to Lumines. Sitra stepped into the room and closed the door.
"So you have your answer?" Lumine asked not looking at the door.
"Yes. I'll help you. On one condition." Sitra answered.
"And what's that? You know it has to be something reasonable not something like killing." Lumine asked.
"Help me get into FairyTail. I need to resign from one of the guilds I'm currently in but that will not be a problem." Sitra answered.
"That will be easy. Resigning will be the hard part. Which guild are you resigning from?" Lumine asked.
"I'm ashamed of my actions that's why I'm resigning from the guild. It's a dark guild. I wish to forget that part of my past. I joined Sabertooth because they wanted information on official guilds but then you walked in. The only living relative I have. I'm not going to let them kill you. The guild is called PhantomSpider. It's a small guild of twelve members and a leader. I am number six. Each number correlates with our rank in the guild. The master is number zero. He is the strongest but has his weaknesses. I can't resign without them killing me or them being destroyed. So before I help you I need them destroyed, but I can't do it alone." Sitra told him.
"Well we are definitely going to need help. I may be strong but if we are comparing powers. If I was in the guild I'm guessing going off of the magic I feel coming from you I would be number two or three. I'm I right? And I don't know anything about them. Only thing I know is that you specialize in supporting magic. You have a unique ability making it an offensive and defensive magic. I have heard of them. Number four, if I'm correct, is known as the magician. And one of the members specialize in patching up wounds with threads that she also uses to attack." Lumine said sending a dummie flying across the room.
"Yes Moka and Shikara. Numbers four and eight. Who do plan on having help us?" Sitra asked.
"The guild CrimeSorciere. And one person from FairyTail. Hope you don't mind. But first I need to contact them. And we only have four days. Come with me and we'll go talk to Master Makarov." Lumine said finally turning showing his face. His eyes had a gold hue. Under his eye was a thin light rainbow pattern of lines.
"So it is true. You can help me. Thank you so much." Sitra said tearing up.
"Don't start crying now it is no promise that I can. But I will do as much as I can. Do you mind flying?" Lumine asked his eyes returning to normal.
"Not at all. Are we going to tell Sting?" Sitra answered. Lumine was already out of the room and in the guild hall. Sting and Lumine already talked and Lumine was waiting by the door. Sitra hurried to Lumine and the two left the guild hall. Once in the air Lumine finally returned to himself.
"So why am I carrying you? I know you can fly. After all you are a dragon slayer. Dragon of dawn, Fayra, you consume the dimness in the area." Lumine asked.
"That is right but as it's the middle of the day it will take a lot of energy just to summon my wings. Grandpa Yenrer is the one who taught you how to transform right?" Sitra asked.
"Yes. He is the one who taught me the darkness can be the light just like how Yantra taught me the light can be darkness. The contradicting forces in the world are what hold it together. I am no different. There are five gods that can't die even with the strongest God slayer magic. I am one of them. However grandma Kumo, your great grandma, isn't. It's funny really. She always told me I will be the death of her and well maybe I am. She is the one who taught me how to control The Prince. But I am only a vessel. Three souls, one body. Human, god, devil. The three souls that truly exist. A dragon soul is classified as a gods because of its eminence power, a devil soul is a soul that hold a power that is as strong as a gods but isn't natural. A human soul is the weakest one as it's only capable of handling a small amount of power before it pops. But there is a fourth classification: true soul. A soul that can't be classified in one of the other three groups or any of the sub groups. Immortals are classified here. However you also need to reach a specific requirement. Mine still has yet to be met that's why I am still not at one soul. We are not allowed to speak of our requirement or to even know it. As our life progresses it becomes clearer. I have lived through four lives and still only learned of how to start it. That is besides the point I am rambling. Our current objective is to eliminate the PhantomSpiders." Lumine said. Magnolia was in sight.
"Is that Magnolia? It's beautiful." Sitra said looking at it.
"Yes. That is also where we will find our help. I'm going to have to drop us into the wood as there is no safe place to land in the city. Ready?" Lumine answered.
"Yes." Sitra responded. The two of them landed in the East woods. Lumine landed on his feet and Sitra in a tree. The two made their way into Magnolia. Once there they headed straight for the guild hall.
"I'm back. And no one touches our guest. Or you don't want to know what happens." Lumine announced. The two walked to the bar where Makarov and Mira were.
"So is this your partner?" Makarov asked.
"Yes, but there is something we need to take care of before we start the test. May we talk to you alone master?" Lumine answered.
"Yes just follow me to my office." Makarov said. The three went to Makarovs office.
"Sitra you tell him. It is your problem after all." Lumine said once the door closed.
"Umm, I would like like to join FairyTail. But I am already a member of two guilds." Sitra said.
"And what are the guilds?" Makarov asked.
"Sabertooth. And one I wish to forget." Sitra answered.
"May I ask What guild that is?" Makarov asked.
"PhantomSpider. I was forced to join an official guild to gather information on them. But once I saw Lumine I knew I couldn't continue. But the only way for me to resign from the guild is for it to disband. I asked Lumine for help but just two people alone isn't sting enough to kill this spider." Sitra answered.
"I see. Lumine go gather your team. If it's going to be taken down only take those who are going to help. But make it discrete. We don't need any more eyes on us. Sitra do you know where they are?" Makarov instructed.
"On it." Lumine said as he walked out.
"We were specifically told never to be in the same place unless told by the boss. The next time we meet will be tomorrow. Here in magnolia in fact. I don't know why yet but all twelve members and the boss will be here. Six members are fighters the other six are supporters. That's all I know right now." Sitra answered.
"I don't want you to put yourself in harms way. I can tell by the similarities between you and Lumine you two are either related or have known each other for a long time. Either way he will not be able to keep his calm if you got injured. I only know of one other time that happened and that's was from a distant relative, I don't want to see what would happen if it happened to someone closer." Makarov said.
"Lumine has a unique power and a strange past. No one, not even him, knows his real name. I guess that's a good thing. He is the dragon slayer of balance, one of the true immortals" Sitra said.
"Well you may go. But please stay safe." Makarov told her. Sitra stood up and walked out. She was walking to the door.
"HEY SITRA!" Lumine yelled as he was on the top floor.
"What is it this time?" she whispered to herself. Lumine jumped down and landed next to her.
"Don't go just yet. You need to meet the people helping. I just can't find the last one. Wait here I'll go look for him." Lumine said.
"I guess but if your not back in five minutes I'm going." Sitra said as he ran off. She took a seat at a table next to the door. Lumine would come in and out of view and eventually walked up to Sitra.
"I found them. Watch this." Lumine said as he took out a whistle. He blew a short blast. Eight people ran up to them.
"Who are they?" Sitra asked.
"Our help. Erza, Jellal, Lucy, Natsu, Juvia, Grey, Mirajane, and Laxus." Lumine answered.
"Well I guess ten against eleven is better odds than two against eleven." Sitra said standing,
"Now all we need is a plan." Lumine said.
"Well they are meeting tomorrow here in Magnolia. I am going as to not raise suspicion to me. All the members are going to be there. Our best chance is splitting them. The masters power is drawn from all the other members." Sitra said.
"Leave him to me. All I need is one clean shot." Lumine said.
"I'm going to the meeting place. Tomorrow morning everyone will be there. Don't be scared of them the fighters are glass cannons. The support are the true threats." Sitra said before walking out.
"That gives us a little over twelve hours to think of a plan. I'll be in my normal spot thinking of a plan. Maybe I can think of one." Lumine said as he walked off.
Sitra walked through the streets to the spot she was told. She got there eventually.
"So you made it. Thought you would get lost like last time." Shikara said.
"Yes Shikara. That was one time. If it amuses you I'll go get lost in the city." Sitra said sarcastically.
"All I'm saying is you aren't late. It's unusual for you to be this early. Why are you early?" Shikara asked slyly.
"I was assigned by Sabertooths guild master to help someone. Just so happens they are a member of the guild in this city. So what is it we're here to do?" Sitra responded.
"Wait until midnight when everyone is here." Moka said.
"I just want to know what we're doing thats all." Sitra said. They all waited and slowly in groups of two and three everyone was there. They met in an abandoned building just outside of Magnolia.
"Everyone's here. What are we doing?" Sitra asked impatiently.
"Calm down. I will explain everything now. We are taking out an official guild. FairyTail. But that's only part of the plan. We need one specific member from that guild. Someone called Lumine Tenebris. We attack tomorrow at sunset." a man said. He was as tall as Lumine and had dark blue hair. His eyes were a deep set green. He had a black coat on with a gold X on the back.
"Sir please let me be the one to fight Lumine. He is also a member of the Sabertooth guild. And his magic is mimicry. He is also the dragon slayer of balance. I am the perfect counter for him." Sitra said without hesitation.
"That May be so but with all the members in one place I am as strong as all ten wizard saints together. Tomorrow Sitra, Moka, and Shikara will go and scout out our targets. Leave no blind spots and don't get caught." the man said.
"Yes sir. If you don't mind I can scout them out right now without any suspicion brought to me. Moka and Shikara should scout the surroundings. I do not mean to show any signs of disrespect, I just believe our best plan at the moment is to secure the area and move from there." Sitra said. She hid it well, showing no signs of betrayal. Her speech was as it always was.
"Very well. You do not raise suspicion to anything seeing as you look like any other wizard. Meet back here before sunrise. We will stir up a problem and make the civilians flee. Remember no direct civilian casualties. Now go." the man said. Sitra, Moka, and Shikara all went in a different direction. Sitra headed straight for the guild hall. Lumine was atop the guild hall staring at the sunset. It appeared like he lost all train of thought. Moka went to the west side of town while Shikara went to the east. Sitra headed inside and sat down in the corner alone. Before long it was night fall. People started filing home and Sitra just observed.
"Sitra. Do you know why they would want me?" Lumine said as he entered.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"Telepathic link. I heard and saw the entire meeting. To bad I didn't see anyone's magic. My one way links are so undetectable that not even the person I'm linked to knows it. And trail hoper is a bigger threat. I thread myself into others thoughts with no sign of it. I can read an enemies attack before they even make it. Of course that is something I need to do ahead of time." Lumine explained.
"Then you know as much as I do. They plan to attack in the morning and the entire guild." Sitra responded.
"Great that gives us time to warm everyone that an attack is coming." Lumine said.
"Do it discreetly. If the spiders see you or anyone do it they'll know I warned you because I'm the only one who was told to interact with FairyTail." Sitra told him.
"So stay out of sight is what your telling me?" Lumine responded.
"No. What I'm saying is spread a rumor. Stir them up. Keep them on guard." Sitra said.
"Got it. Just tell them something that would put anyone on guard. I'm gonna tell the others and tell them to help spread the word. How about a dragon sighting? No that just get Natsu all riled up. Monster?" Lumine responded.
"I don't care what it is just as long as it doesn't bring suspicion onto me. Tell them something like people coming back from the dead or an invisible monster has been attacking people. Just don't say anything about a dark guild." Sitra told him.
"Monster attack got it. I'm gonna go find Warren. He'll definitely help." Lumine said with a smile.
"And what about you? They want you I wouldn't advise going outside alone." Sitra asked.
"Oh please. I'm the Mimic. Besides I can just do this." Lumine answered. He transformed into Draco.
"Who's that?" Sitra asked slightly confused.
"Draco. His specialty is transformation." Lumine answered.
"Alright. Just go do what you got to do." Sitra said as she walked out of the half empty guild hall.
"Wait. I should start looking for him here." Lumine said to himself as he transformed back. He stepped into the crowd and started looking.
"Lumine!" someone yelled from behind him.
"That's me." he said turning around.
"I got a bone to pick with you! Fight me like a real man!" the person yelled.
"Can we do that tomorrow? I'm kind of looking for someone and your not helping me." Lumine answered.
"So your not a man?" they asked rhetorically.
"No, I'm not. Now let me look for Warren. Have you seen Erza?" Lumine answered sarcastically.
"Why are you looking for them?" he asked.
"Reasons. If your not going to help then don't bother me." Lumine responded.
"Erza is on the second floor Warren went home." he told Lumine.
"Thanks Elfman." Lumine said with a smile. Lumine ran off to the second floor. Erza and Jellal were talking to each other when he walked up.
"Guys do you know where Warren is?" he asked right away.
"Home. Why?" Erza responded.
"I need to talk to him." Lumine answered.
"Do you have a plan?" Erza asked.
"Of sorts. I just need Warren to help me. They plan on attacking the guild in the morning. But I can't tell anyone about or the would put Sitra in danger." Lumine told her.
"Why don't you just mimic him?" Erza asked.
"I, uh, the thing is. I forgot about that." Lumine answered.
"So what are you going to tell them?" Erza asked.
"Just to stay on guard. There target is me so I'm going to stay here for the night." Lumine told her. Lumine ran off to another room. He made sure he was alone. He set up a link with the entire guild.
"Hello. This is Lumine. If you can here me I have a warning. Everyone gather back at the guild hall please I will explain the situation there. Be careful and be sure to find someone quickly if not already at the guild."
