Soon they got to Sting and Rogues place. It wasn't anything big and fancy. It was a two bedroom two bathroom apartment.
"So here it is." Sting said as he unlocked the door.
"Sting are you going to be nice this time?" Rogue asked stepping into the apartment.
"Aren't I always?" Sting asked jokingly entering behind Lumine.
"When Erza stayed?" Rogue asked looking at him.
"She was the one that offered. And you know how stubborn she is." Sting said slumping onto the couch.
"Whatever, I'm going to go change." Rogue said as he walked into his room.
"He's just mad about last time. Apparently I made Erza sleep out here even though we both offered for her to sleep in a bed and one of us on the couch." Sting said sitting up and patting g the seat next to him.
"Umm I'm fine sleeping on the couch." Lumine said as he sat down next to Sting.
"No, no take the bed you need it. Especially after what you did." Sting said.
"But it's your place I'd feel bad making you sleep on your couch." Lumine said yawning.
"Tell you what," Sting said looking for Rogue "we'll share it. Ok?"
"Ummmmmm" Lumine said his face becoming a bright pink. Rogue stepped out of his room wearing a baggy t-shirt and boxers. Sting got up and walked over to a window.
"What did you do to the poor guy?" Rogue asked seeing Lumines blank stare.
"Nothing," Sting said with a smirk "I'm going to go change." With that he walked into his room.
"What did he do?" Rogue asked making sure Sting was out of earshot.
"Nothing. I'm just thinking." Lumine responded snapping back to reality. 'Does he like me? Why is he making an advance? Is Rogue like his?' Lumine thought to himself as he stood up. "Where is the restroom?"
"Down the hall next to the closet. If your at the end of the hall your to far." Rogue said as he left to his room. Lumine walked into the bathroom just to have some isolation. Thoughts were running through his head left and right. 'Does he like me? What about Rouge? Who else knows he's gay? Does anyone know that he's like this? What if I say no to sharing? Why is he so contempt with me sleeping in the bed?' were the thoughts that stuck out the most. He stepped out of the bathroom to find Sting in his doorway wearing nothing but a pair of boxers.
"So what's your answer?" Sting asked as he walked over to Lumine.
"I-I-I." was all that Lumine could stammer out looking at Sting. Sting let out a little laugh.
"What? Don't know what to say? How about this? We'll share the room but not the bed. Alright?" Sting asked giving Lumine a little smirk. Lumine nodded and followed Sting into the room. The bed was in the corner of the room along the wall with the door. It was a tan painted room with a closet sitting next to the door. And a table with various sketches sat on the other side of the room.
"So who's on the floor?" Sting asked pulling a blanked and pillow out of the closet.
"I don't mind sleeping on the floor." Lumine said but Sting was already laying on the floor swaddled in the blanked.
"Took to long you got the bed." Sting said as he flashed a smile. Lumine got into the bed and was surrounded by warmth.'it smells like him. It smells so nice.' Lumine thought to himself as he pulled the covers over him.
"Are you really sleeping in your clothes?" Sting asked.
"Well as of now there the only clothes I have." Lumine responded with another yawn.
"Well get some rest tomorrow I'm getting you some clothes. Besides those have so many cuts in them. I can see the stab wound." Sting said as he fell asleep. Lumine laid his head down but couldn't sleep. He was tossing and turning. The bed was relaxing and made him feel safe but to many thoughts were in his head. He eventually fell asleep about five hours after Sting did. The next morning Sting was up and already dressed before anyone else. Rogue was the second one up after getting dressed he went to the guild hall. Lumine was the last one up. Sting was there in the living room.
"Here," He said tossing him a bag "it's nothing special just a pair of shorts and a shirt to get you through today." Sting said as Lumine took out a pair of black shorts that looked like they might of belonged to Rogue. And a white shirt that was definitely Stings. He slipped them on in the bathroom. The shirt smelled like Sting but the shorts smelled like Rogue so it gave him a small headache. They both left and went to the market to get some clothes for Lumine. They entered the store Sting shopped at the most.
"Umm do you mind if I did this myself?" Lumine asked sheepishly as they entered the store.
"Not at all just come get me I'll be by the counter when your done. And I'm not letting you leave unless you have five outfits." Sting said as he walked over and stood by the counter. Lumine walked through the store. First the shirts. He got a plane white shirt, a plane black shirt, and a plane gray shirt, and two shirts one was black with white lines on it in no particular pattern and a similar one but the colors were switched. Then he went to the shorts. He got three that matched the plane shirts. And two that were black with white swirls and white with black swirls. He then went to the counter and handed them to Sting who paid for them saying it was his treat before heading to the guild hall. Erza was standing by the entrance waiting for them. She noticed Sting and Lumine both had a smile on there faces.
"You to seem happy." She said as they got to the entrance.
"We are why do you ask?" Sting said.
"Well I just got news that might make some people really happy." Erza said with a smile.
"And what's that?" Lumine asked as he knew it was directed towards him.
"Well it's about guilds. And it's members." Erza said as she looked into the distance.
"What about that?" Sting asked.
"Well I asked the magic Council something. If a mamber could be part of two guilds. They put it up to debate and came up with an answer. They can but only if both masters and the member agreed to it." She said smiling as Natsu, Lucy, and Makarov walked up.
"So did you tell them?" Makarov asked.
"Yes but we should talk about this somewhere else." Erza said. Sting motioned them to follow him. They all went into his room in the guild.
"So what's this about being a part of two guilds." Sting asked.
"Well not only is it to get more mages into guilds but it's also to unify the guilds." Makarov said.
"Yep and since Lumine is still here we thought he could be the first of ours to do so. In fact be the first one ever." Lucy said in her naturally happy voice.
"Well I'm fine with it just as long as they don't hurt my children." Makarov said looking at Sting.
"I'm good with it. And I promise I will not hurt anyone in the Fairy Tail guild if they were in mine. If that were to happen punishment will be given." Sting said.
"Lumine?" Erza said by the door.
"What?" Lumine said looking at her.
"It's all up to you." She said.
"Well Fairy Tail was the one that saved me. But I also feel like I owe Sabertooth a great debt of gratitude. So my answer is yes I'll be a part of both." Lumine said as he turned to Sting with a big smile.
"Then it's settled. Let's make it official." Erza said with a smile. Lucy hugged Lumine.
"You know this is going to get news coverage right?" Sting asked as he shook Makarovs hand.
"Yes but it's also going to spread the word. Makarov said as they left the room. In the guild hall everyone was gathered for the announcement.
"Everyone we have very exciting news. We have a new member but that is not the exciting part. Fairy Tail has talked to the magic Council and have come up with something. We can now have members of another guild be a part of ours and there at the same time. So we have decided the first person to do so is Lumine Tenebris Fairy Tails newest member and ours." Sting said. There was a mixed reaction. Some were excited some were confused but in the end everyone was glad to hear this. Yukino was the one who put the guild mark on Lumine. It was on his left eye a bright red color.
"How is it?" Yukino asked.
"All that's off is the right side of my vision has a slight red tint to it." Lumine said in response as many people came to congratulate him. One of them was Manirva who was honestly very happy with the news. The next days many reporters came and asked many questions. "Who will be next? How long will this last? Will Guild masters be able to do it to?" were some questions asked. The biggest story went to Sorcerer Weekly the story involved both Fairy Tail and Sabertooth. Soon after the stories were published other guilds started doing it. Wendy became a part of Limea scail. Lucy became a part of Mermaid heel. And others joined other guilds.
"So how does it feel to be the match that started a new fire?" Sting asked Lumine as they walked into Fairy Tail. Erza and Lucy were talking to each other when they entered.
"They sure are spending a lot of time together aren't they?" Lucy asked Erza.
"They are." Erza agreed as she went to intercept them.
"Erza! Just the person we were looking for!" Sting yelled as he hugged her.
"What brings you here?" She asked returning the hug as Lucy walked up and hugged Lumine.
"We came to talk to Makarov and you. But our conversation with Makarov can't wait." Sting said hugging Lucy.
"He's on the second floor in his office." Erza said showing them the way. In the office Makarov was sitting behind his desk doing some paperwork.
"Excuse us." Sting said as he closed the door behind him.
"What brings the two of you here?" Makarov asked.
"Well as seeing it's only about a week or two from the grand magic games something crossed my mind." Sting started.
"Since I'm part of both Fairy Tail and Sabertooth who would be the guild I am with during the games?" Lumine asked.
"We actually didn't think of that." Makarov said.
"So let's determine it and spread the word." Sting said.
"How about this we both pick our team and let's say if we both pick Lumine he gets to decide who he is with?" Makarov answered.
"Sounds fair to me." Sting replied.
"Ok so that's how we do it." Lumine said.
"Now go spread the word. But first Sting I need to talk to you." Makarov said. Lumine stepped out of the room and waited for Sting. Sting came out about three minutes later. And they both went to go talk to Erza. They found her leaving to go do a job.
"ERZA WAIT UP!" Lumine yelled as he ran up to her.
"What's up?" She asked.
"Did you forget Sting and I wanted to talk to you?" Lumine said catching his breath. Sting ran up to them to catch them.
"Where's Lucy?" Sting asked.
"Right here." She said with a wave.
"We wanted to tell you something." Sting said helping Lumine up.
"What is it?" Lucy asked smiling.
"Ones about the games. The other thing is about us." Lumine said.
"We decided that if members who are in two guilds are chosen by both _ be the first to know.(, We're dating." Lumine said with a smile.
"What? That's so exciting!" Lucy said hugging the both of them. After the embrace they parted ways. Back at Sabertooth, Lumine went to the job board to look for a job. He found one that would take no longer than a day or two. It took longer than he expected but he returned just in time to hear the teams for the games. Sabertooths was Sting, Rogue, Manirva, Yukino, and Lumine. Fairy Tails was Natsu, Erza, Lucy, Grey, and Lumine. He decided that he would go with Sabertooth this year so they Fairy Tails last spot went to Laxus. At Cocrus they meet with Fairy Tail.
"Told you that would have a back up." Lumine said to Sting when meeting the team.
"I never said they wouldn't. I simply wondered who they would put in your place." Sting said giving Lumine a little punch.
"Well now we know who were up against." Lumine said. Sting draped an arm around Lumine who was almost a full head shorter then him. They ran into Lucy and Erza.
"So why did you choose them?" Lucy asked sweetly.
"Other then the fact that he's my boyfriend we decided it shortly after I joined Sabertooth." Lumine said resting his head on Stings arm.
"Hey not in public." Sting whispered to him.
"What your the one hugging me. And besides these two already know." Lumine replied smiling up at Sting causing him to take his arm down and blush.
"See you two are getting along just fine." Erza said laughing a little. The four of them went to Sting and Lumines inn room.
"So now?" Lumine asked as he closed the door behind Lucy.
"I guess." Sting said with a smile as he sat down. Lumine walked over and sat in front of Sting taking his hair out of the knot he had it in.
"Braid it. You know I only like the way you do it." Lumine said his hair fell down to about the middle of his back.
"Why don't you let your hair down more often?" Lucy asked as she sat next to Sting watching him braid Lumines hair.
"Because I don't like how it feels when it gets under my arms." Lumine responded sitting perfectly still.
"I can respect that." Erza said sitting in a chair.
"So before the games start what are you hoping to do?" Sting asked about halfway done.
"Sight see some more." Lucy said with a smile.
"With Natsu?" Erza asked.
"What? No!" Lucy responded. Lumine let out a laugh as Sting stopped to let him do so. After Sting finished lumine stood up. His hair was in a simple braid but it looked so pretty. The black and white crossed over each other but they were still separate. It looked so nice Lumine was sad he had to let it down when he had to bathe.
"Come on Lumine go get ready or we'll be late." Sting said tossing a bag to him. Lumine caught it and ran off into one of the back rooms.
"Late for what?" Lucy asked.
"We have a date tonight. I plan to come out to the guild tonight." Sting said drumming his fingers along the arm of the couch.
"Your nervous aren't you?" Erza asked.
"Well yes and no. I know some will accept me but I'm worried about those who won't." Sting said as there was a knock at the door. He got up to answer it. Rogue was at the door.
"Go get ready for his surprise I'll keep him busy!" Rogue said in a hushed voice "Lucy why don't you go help him?"
"Alright." She said getting up and following Sting.
"So your in on this to Rogue?" Erza asked as the door clicked.
"Of course. He's my brother why wouldn't I?" Rogue e responded.
"Only fair." Erza said as lumine came out wearing a white blazer and black pants with a gray dress shirt.
"Oh! Rogue your here! How do I look?" Lumine asked as he walked over to him and Erza.
"You look like you, but fancy." Rogue said in response.
"No seriously. How do I look? I want this to go perfect!" Lumine said walking over to the vase of flowers he just noticed.
"Relax it will be fine. Remember I'm the one who helped you find your suit. I'm the one who helped you a lot with you 'girlfriend'!" Rogue said with a smile.
"I know you know I'm dating Sting no need to hide it in front of me. But does he know you know?" Lumine said looking at the flowers.
"Excuse me but what time is your date lumine?" Erza asked standing up and giving him a hug.
"He told me to meet him in the lobby around five in the afternoon. Erza what rose do you like best?" Lumine said seeming kind of destrackted.
"I like this one." She said pulling out a rose that looked like the yin and yang symbol.
"It's perfect!" He said as she helped put it on his suit.
"I knew you'd like it." Erza said.
"Lumine, Sting asked me to do this." Rogue said as he put a blind fold on Lumine. Rogue helped lumine to the couch.
"I'll be right back." Erza said as she and Rogue went to go change. The two of them escorted Lumine to the lobby and joined a group of people outside. Sting took Lumines hand and led him outside signaling everyone to be quiet. He kissed Lumine and as they were kissing took off the blind fold.
"Surprise! Congratulations! Awww!" Were yelled by the crowd. All of Fairy Tail and Sabertooth tooth were there. Sting told Rogue and Erza a few days before to spread the word but no details. Just get everyone from the guilds there.
"Surprise. This is to one month of being together." Sting said as Lumine saw him. Sting was in a white suit with a flower that matched his.
"To one month of being in Sabertooth!" Everyone in Sabertooth yelled in unison.
"To one month in Fairy Tail!" Everyone In Fairy Tail yelled. Lumine started to tear up as Reedus painted a picture to remember this by. Everyone celebrated at the inn laughing and having fun. Lumine and Sting were the happiest of all. Everyone came to congratulate them. Rogue, Erza, and Lucy were the three that spent the most time with them. Lumine already knew why they were let in on Stings plan.
Rogue was Stings brother, Erza and Lucy were like sisters to Lumine and Sting knew that.
"So I guess it's official." Erza said as she walked up wearing a lovely red dress with a flower matching Stings and Lumines. The more Lumine looked the more Lumine saw everyone had a flower like theirs making him tear up again. Sting pulled him into a hug and kissed his head.
"Don't cry. That's not a good look for you." He whispered softly.
"I can't help it. All of this. For me. For us." He said drying his face off. Lumine smiles as he hugged Lucy, Erza , and Rogue for helping Sting with the surprise.
"This is just so thank you!" He said behind tears. Sting picked him up and spun him around.
"This is for you and me you know that right? So stop crying and enjoy yourself." Sting said kissing him.
"I'll enjoy something." He said kissing Sting back. Once set down Lumine did something Sting wasn't expecting. He picked up Sting. Even being a head taller than Lumine and being picked up by surprise he laughed and hugged Lumine.
"Hey I heard some news." said a familiar voice from behind them. Yenrer walked out of the shadows.
"Yenrer your here!" Lumine yelled ecstatic.
"Why wouldn't I?" Yenrer responded.
"How did you even know?" Lumine asked as he hugged him.
"Why wouldn't I know what my sons been up to?" he responded returning the hug.
"That sounds like your being a stalker," Sting laughed.
"What's wrong with checking in on my son?" Yenrer asked letting go of Lumine.
"Just saying you need to work on how you phrase things." Sting said.
"Can I talk to you outside?" Yenrer asked suddenly stern.
"Sure." Sting said giving Lumine a kiss in his forehead. The two of them walked outside out of Lumines earshot.
"You hurt him in anyway and you'll regret it." Yenrer said as they walked down the street.
"If your saying I can't dump him then don't even continue. We love eachother." Sting said looking at the stars.
"Listen if I figure out that a single scratch came from you you won't to fucking worry about your future." Yenrer said stopping.
"Did you just threaten to kill me? What the fuck?" Sting said with a shocked look on his face.
"Look at it from my perspective. I've lost both my parents and my sister. Of course I'm going to be protective over my only son." Yenrer said.
"Be protective and threatening to kill are two completely different things!" Sting half yelled.
"Just to make sure you don't tell anyone," Yenrer punched Sting in the gut causing him to cough up blood. Yenrer left as Sting made his way back to the in. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with a napkin and made his way back into the party.
"What happened bubs?" Lumine asked right away.
"Nothing." Sting responded hugging Lumine.
"I can tell something's up. Is that, blood? Sting what aren't you telling me?" Lumine said grabbing his hand.
"Ok I'll spill," Sting started as he felt a chill down his spine "I was attacked by a group of thugs. Yenrer left to go somewhere and I was on my way back. I wasn't expecting an attack."
"Why didn't you just say that in the first place?" Lumine asked standing on his toes to kiss Sting. The party lasted until midnight when everyone went back to their inn rooms. Lumine, Sting, and Rogue shared a room. Once in the room the light hearted mood changed.
"So what really happened Sting?" Rogue asked.
"I told you I was attacked." Sting said still sticking to his story.
"I am going to stay out of this and go take a shower," Lumine said as he left to a back room "Sting your going to have to redo my hair in the morning."
"Alright." Sting responded trying to slip into his room.
"Sting I know your not the type of person to get up and leave if you were attacked." Rogue said sternly.
"It's dark, I'm tired, and I didn't see which way they went." Sting made the excuse of.
"Sting check the facts of your story. Even if you didn't see you would of sniffed them out." Rogue said even sterner.
"Let's just drop this and get some rest." Sting said before leaving. The rest of the night was peaceful. Everyone but Sting could sleep Yenrer was on his mind, his threat, his power. The next morning Sting was the last one up.
"Sting hurry up!" Lumine yelled through the door.
"We're going to be late!" Rogue yelled down the hall. Sting got up and dressed. The team all wore a form of matching. Lumine was the ace so it was all based off of black and white. Sting and Yukino wore their usual attire but was all a plain white. Rouge and Minerva the same but all black. Lumine wore the first thing Sting gave him, the white shirt and black shorts. The theme of this years grand magic games was teamwork, but no one knew who was teaming with who. Two guilds would be paired at the start of the games based on a random selection of the audience.
"THE TEN GUILDS COMPETING THIS YEAR ARE FAIRY TAIL, LAMIA SCAIL, MERMAID HEEL, BLUE PEGASUS, CHIMAERA HORN, PHOENIX FEATHER, BASILISK FANG, VALKARY CLAW, ANGLE WING, AND SABERTOOTH!!!!" the announcer yelled over the mic and roar of the crowd. Sabertooth and Fairy Tail were one mixed bunch in the stands.
"NOW ON TO WHICH GUILDS WILL BE PLACED TOGETHER!!" the announcer yelled again "HERE TO HELP ME IS FORMER COUNCIL MEMBER JELLAL! AND TODAYS SPECIAL GUEST FROM OUR VERY OWN KINGDOM THE PRINCESS!"
"We split the stands up, the majority in one group counts as one vote everyone will vote to determine the teams." Jellal said into the mic.
"And these teams will select who will compete for the rest of the tournament. All except the fights at the end of each day." The princess said.
"NOW GET TO VOTING!!!" the announcer yelled once again. Several minutes later the votes were in and tallied. Everyone unanimously voted for pairing of guilds Sabertooth and Fairy Tail. Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale were the next pairing. Mermaid Heel and Phoenix wing were put together. Chimaera Horn and Basilis Fang were the next two. The final pair were Valkare Claw and Angel Wing. Everyone were not very surprised at the outcome of the vote.
"NOW FOR THE FIRST EVENT!!!" the announcer yelled over the mic.
"A relay race." Jellal continued.
"Around the city. Four laps, two laps per guild." the princess finished.
"MAGIC IS ALLOWED TO SLOW YOUR OPPONENT!" the announcer yelled.
"Each guild will choose one person to compete." Jellal finished. The guilds got into there pairs and started to discuss.
"Well you know I'm out." Lumine said as soon as the two guilds met.
"No your not. It's a test of speed." Erza reassured him.
"Through a city. The last city I used magic in I destroyed the train station." Lumine said nudging Yukino.
"I'll do it." Laxus said walking to the front of the group.
"But what if there is another race or test of speed, Laxus?" Lucy asked.
"There are four more perfectly capable wizards in Fairy Tail plus we still have the four not taking part in the relay." Laxus said turning around.
"Laxus is indeed fast so I say he take part for Fairy Tail and I'll take part for Sabertooth." Minerva said.
"You sure?" Yukino asked.
"Yes I'll take the first lap and lay out as many traps as I can, Laxus will take the second, I will repeat what I did in the third lap, and Laxus will take the last lap." Minerva said.
"That's a smart plan." Lumine said with a smile.
"So is it settled?" Minerva asked.
"Yes." everyone said one after another.
The starting point was the entrance to the arena. Manirva taking the baton, a silver rod with two gold rings on either end. Her plan was to set traps all over the track and let Laxus know through her magic. Lyon and Hibachi were the two competing for Lamia and Pegasus. Greyhound and Serpent were the two competing for Chimaera and Basilisk. Phoenix and chery were competing for Mermaid and Phoenix. Val and Sert were competing for Valkery and Angel.
"THREE!!!" the announcer yelled.
"Two." Jellal.
"One." The princess.
"Go!!!!!" The entire crowd roared. Manirva had already taken the lead shortly behind her were Phoenix and Sert, behind them Lyon, and behind him Chery. Halfway through the first lap Manirva had allowed herself to fall into third to comfortably lay traps without her plan catching. Lyon and Chery were the two who hit the most on the path. The traps weren't ones that lasted long but were so close together hitting one would cause a chain. They were mists, mud pits, and slicked floors, but the worst were the pitfalls. She reached the arena again and handed it to Laxus. He halved her time not out of his limit but to save energy. Manirva reset already activated traps and placed rows of pitfalls or lengths of mud pits. Over every mud pit she put the mist. Every pitfall had a slicked floor before it. Manirva made the third lap a third of the time faster than her first. Laxus being on the last lap went at full speed and finished it faster then anyone else. After every team had finished there were long trails of ice and mud. Some places had a thick mist hanging over it. The whole track was visible from the arenas entrance.
"TIME FOR THE RANKINGS!!!!!" the announcer yelled catching everyone's attention.
"You weren't only judged on speed alone, you were also judged on teamwork and the use of your magic." Jellal said.
"Let's get this started with." The princess said.
"FIFTH PLACE: LAMIA SCALE AND BLUE PEGASUS!!!! FOURTH PLACE: PHOENIX FEATHER AND MERMAID HEEL!!!!!" The announcer yelled.
"Third place goes to Chimaera Horn and Basilisk Fang. Second goes to Valkery claw and Angel Wing." Jellal said.
"And with an outstanding display of magic and teamwork first place goes to: FAIRY TAIL AND SABERTOOTH!" The princess yelled with excitement. The crowd cheered as the winners were sure to be Sabertooth and Fairy Tail.
"Interesting. Some to look after and into. Boss is gonna want to know about this." Said someone sitting atop one of the statues. They then melted into the shadows and disappeared.
"WE DID IT! WE DID IT!" Lucy yelled as Laxus and Manirva reentered the arena. The fights would be three on three. The two who competed and one of the sponsors chose. First battle was FairyTail and Sabertooth against Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus.
Manirva, Laxus, and Lucy against Lyon, Hibachi, and Ichiya. Erza thought she lucked out but remembered there are still four more days.
Right away Lucy summoned Torus and used his star dress. Lucy was going after Hibachi, while Manirva took on Lyon and Laxus was on Ichiya. Laxus was sure to win against Ichiya as he was moving to fast for him to react in no time Ichiya was on the ground out. Manirva was holding her own but not able to get an attack in as Lyon was throwing attacks strategically as to keep Manirva from making any advances. Lucy was having an easier time with Hibachi and was able to take him down with the help of Torus. Lyon now being the last one aimed an attack at Lucy which she wasn't prepared for but Laxus to the hit. Using her whip she grabbed one of Lyons hands keeping him from using it. Manirva took this opportunity to take a blow at Lyon, one swift hard kick to the face, he was out cold. They won their battle. The three of them went back to their inns to rest. Lumine stayed to watch the matches, learning the opponents magic. After it was all over for the day they headed back to the inn.
"So I learned some interesting things." Lumine said grabbing something to drink.
"What?" Sting asked.
"Phoenix Wing has a special magic. It will heal and attack at the same time." Lumine said sitting next to Sting.
"So?" Sting asked again.
"So I know that magic now. Remember mine? The ace up the sleeve. Not to mention being a balance dragon slayer." Lumine said letting his hair down.
"I keep forgetting to ask, how does that work?" Sting said half to himself.
"If I eat one elemental like light I have to eat its opposite like shadows to keep from getting sick. That's why you don't see me drink water half the time." Lumine said laying his head in Stings lap.
"Oh so me, you, and Rouge would be practically unstoppable?" Sting asked running his fingers through Lumines hair.
"I mean I'm theory yes. But in reality no. Because balance dragons can't supply other dragons with power, unless it's like Yenrer giving me power. I can get power from you but the other way does not work. I also have to use at least one attack with the elements I consumed before converting them into another one. But I can also combine magic." Lumine said with a smile taking a sip of juice.
"So if you ate fire and water you could use both of those in a breath attack at once?" Sting asked even more curious.
"Yes. Or like your holy nova. I can use a version called true balance. Which combines the two most resent elements I ate and releases them in one attack, but I would need to eat two more elements. I can fight with only eating one but that wears me out faster." Lumine said sitting up.
"What else can a balance dragon do?" Sting asked as he walked over to get a drink himself.
"Well we can learn any and all other dragon slayer magic. Of course I can already do that with mimicry," Lumine said scooting into the corner of the couch "and I can learn, if I really wanted to, how to become like Yenrer and Yantra, able to transform between dragon and human, that's one of the only Magic's mimicry doesn't seem to work on."
"But if you become a dragon wont that also make the dragon seed regrow?" Sting asked sitting back down.
"Actually no. Yantra told me that because of my unique magic any magic preformed to protect my body, such as the stop of the dragon seed, will last for as long as I live." Lumine said poking at the left side of his chest.
"Why do you keep doing that when talking about topics such as life and death?" Sting asked as he noticed this a lot.
"Long story," Lumine said setting the empty cup down and grabbing a pillow.
"I like stories, especially the ones with you in it." Sting said with a smile.
"Stop being so cheesy nerd." Lumine responded barring his face in the pillow.
"I'm not being cheesy." Sting said teasingly.
"Yes you are. OH SHIT!" Lumine yelled as he bolted upright.
"What?!" Sting responded slightly scared.
"I FORGOT I TOLD SOMEONE ID MEET THEM SOMEWHERE!" Lumine yelled panicked.
"Who?" Sting asked squinting.
"You really think I'd cheat on you? I'm meeting Yenrer." Lumine said giving Sting a kiss as he ran out of the room. Lumine ran through the lobby and down the street to the arena.
"So why did you want to talk to me?" He said regaining his breath.
"It's about this." Yenrer said.
"What's this? The games? Us? Sting?" Lumine asked standing up straight.
"All of it. The games are just some stupid reason for humans to fight." Yenrer said.
"But it's also to see who is the strongest guild, and it's also a source of entertainment." Lumine said.
"Ok well. Have you regained any more memories?" Yenrer asked.
"None other then me fighting and training with you." Lumine said.
"None of Yantra?" Yenrer asked.
"Only one is here teaching me how to use her secret arts." Lumine responded.
"Now onto you and Sting." Yenrer started.
"Actually that's what I wanted to talk the most about." Lumine said fast.
"Why?" Yenrer asked trying to hide a smirk. A dark aura came from Lumine, one that actually scared Yenrer.
"Touch him again and you will have your wings clipped. I know it was you who attacked him." Lumine said in a cheery tone totally unlike his aura.
"I didn't touch him I swear." Yenrer said.
"Only way he was going to cough up blood is if he was hit hard enough in the stomach. Lonely street thugs wouldn't be able to do that." Lumine said sitting.
"And what if I did?" Yenrer asked smugly.
"Like I said hurt him again and you'll have your wings clipped." Lumine said with a smile.
"Why are you so cherry? You know threats work better if you act serious?" Yenrer said with a little smirk.
"I know you can sense my aura. And you know how dark it is. Do I really need to change my demeanor to scare someone like you?" Lumine said standing.
"All I'm saying is try to act scary next time you threaten someone." Yenrer said.
"Threats work just as well with a smile. That's how you know they will follow through." Lumine said flashing Yenrer a smile and walking off. Yenrer stayed at the arena and made sure Lumine was out of earshot.
"You can come out now." He said as someone stepped out of the shadows of the arena.
"I have some interesting information, boss." The figure said.
"Good do tell." Yenrer said looking out at the city.
"The guild he's a part of, both of them, have dragon slayers in their ranks." The figure said.
"More blood to be shed I'm afraid. Forgive me Yantra but if the future is to come they must be gone." Yenrer said to himself. Before disappearing into the shadows with the figure.
Lumine walked back to the inn alone. He was down the street when he was stopped by a group of people. "Piercing kiss" was all he heard before he was on the ground. He woke up some time later tied to a chair.
"HEY! WHERE AM I? CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?" He yelled hoping to get someone's attention. The door to the room opened behind him as a lady walked in.
"Hey lady can you help me?" he asked hoping she was a friend.
"I'm afraid I can't do that. Not until your friends are here. The boss wants all of you. And we will do what it takes to please him." The lady said before walking in front of him. She wore light makeup almost making her face white, her lips were blood red. That was all Lumine could see before she blew a kiss and he was out again. At the games everyone wondered where Lumine could have gone. Sabertooth has a substitute for everyone. Lumines was hand picked by him. The memory make mage, Rufus. Lucy and Yukino competed and fought alongside Erza overall they placed second for the day but still remained first in the games.
"Hey do you know where Lumine is?" Sting asked Rogue.
"I haven't seen him since yesterday." Rogue replied.
"He went out last night to meet up with someone. He couldnt of lost track of time." Sting replied.
"We need him he's our best shot in this. We should look for him." Rogue said as they met up with Erza, Natsu, and Lucy.
"You seemed distracted today Sting something wrong?" Lucy asked.
"Lumine didn't comeback to the room last night. I'm worried about him." Sting said.
"We were thinking of forming a search party to find him." Rogue said.
"We can ask Gajeel and Wendy to help." Erza suggested.
"Wall thats true the two aren't participating in the games." Sting said half thinking to himself. The five of them ran to the inn FairyTail was in.
"Wendy, Gajeel!" Lucy yelled.
"Get over here now!" Erza demanded.
"Yes ma'am." Wendy said as she approached them.
"What the fuck do you want?" Gajeel said walking up.
"We need your help." Sting said.
"Lumine has gone missing." Rogue said.
"Can you two go look for him for us?" Sting asked embarrassed.
"I'll help do anything for a friend." Wendy said with a smile.
"I guess I'll help, just to make sure she doesn't cause any trouble." Gajeel said.
"Come on Carla." Wendy said as she ran out of the inn.
"I just hope he's alright." Sting said on the verge of tears. Wendy took to the sky's with Carla to look for any signs of him as Gajeel and Lily took the streets asking people if they saw him.
"LUMINE CAN YOU HEAR ME?" Wendy yelled as she would pass crowds of people hoping he was in one of them.
"Sorry to bother you, but have you seen our friend, Lumine, the one competing in the games?" Lily would ask various people often getting responses saying he's strong or handsome.
"HEY? WHERE ARE YOU?" Gajeel would yell passing building and crowds. In the building Lumine was in he was still tied up but no longer in a chair.
"LET ME GO YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES! MAKE IT A FAIR FIGHT AND I MIGHT GO EASY!" he yelled struggling to get up.
"WHY THE FUCK DO YOU WANT ME I HAVE STUFF TO DO!" he kept yelling and yelling. People passing by thought it was just an argument umongst the residents.
"LET ME GO!" he yelled as the door opened.
"WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO LOUD!?" a man yelled.
"YOUR ONE TO SPEAK YOUR YELLING LOUDER THEN ME!" Lumine yelled in response.
"JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP AND BE PATIENT! DO I HAVE TO GET THE MISSTRESS?" the man yelled.
"LET ME GO AND ILL STOP YELLING!" Lumine yelled at the top of his lungs. Gajeel was passing the building just as lumine yelled the.
"Panther go get the guild I found him. Remember old trashed building at the edge of town. Tell the other two as well." Gajeel instructed.
"On it!" Lily said determination in his voice. Gajeel wasn't one to wait. He knocked on the door as nice as he could almost knocking it off the hinges.
"Sorry were closed." came a women's voice from behind the door.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! FUCK YOU! YOU KNOW HOW LONG IVE GONE WITHOUT FOOD? AT LEAST FEED ME!" Lumine would yell.
"I'm sorry to bother you I'm just looking for my friend and wanted to know if you seen him?" Gajeel asked as nice as he could.
"I'm sorry but no one has come to our inn it's always closed during the games." the lady said through the door.
"JUST FEED ME THATS ALL I ASK! I DONT CARE THAT YOU KIDNAPED ME!" Lumine yelled with a thud against the outer wall.
"I'm sorry but I know his voice and that sounds like him yelling do you mind if I talk to him?" Gajeel asked a little irritated.
"Oh that's just little brother. He's great at doing voices isn't he?" the lady said trying to get Gajeel away.
"NO NEED TO BE SO FUCKING AGGRESSIVE ALL I WANT IS FOOD!" Lumine yelled nearing the window.
"I'm sure that's him. Please let me talk to him." Gajeel said through clenched teeth.
"I'm sorry but you can't we are currently cleaning and don't want anything to get dirty." the lady said hesitantly.
"FUCK YOU THE ONLY REASON IM NOT ABLE TO RIP THESE ROPES IS BECAUSE YOU AREN'T FEEDING ME! AND ENOUGH OF THIS MISSTRESS CRAP I WANT TO KNOW WHO IS REALLY BEHIND ALL OF THIS!" Lumine would yell right next to the window.
"Bingo! Definitely him now. I'm sorry for bothering you ma'am. Please forgive me?" Gajeel said trying to hide his laughter.
"FUCK YOU!" Lumine yelled.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP NO ONE IS EVER GOING TO FIND YOU! AFTER ALL WE CAUGHT A DRAGON HAVENT WE? SO WHO DO YOU THINK CAN STOP US?" a man yelled.
"A dragon huh?" Gajeel laughed waiting for backup.
"HOW ABOUT THOSE MENT TO KILL A DRAGON! AND I HAVE FIVE OF THEM ON MY SIDE SO FUCK YOU!" Lumine yelled even louder then before.
"I know the secret. Six if he counts himself, but only a select few know it." Gajeel said to himself as Natsu, Wendy, Sting, Rouge, Happy, Carla, Lecturer, Frosch, and Lily came flying in.
"So this is where he is?" Sting asked as soon as he was put down.
"Yes." Gajeel replied.
"It's true that's him yelling in there. He's so loud I can here him from a mile away." Rogue said as he landed.
"So what do we do?" Wendy asked landing.
"We storm the place!" Natsu said angrily.
"Not so fast they have our friend." Wendy said sternly.
"And from what I heard they have him at his weakest. Gotta play it smart." Gajeel said.
"So we have to rush 'em and take 'em by surprise?" Rogue asked.
"Not quite. They said their after dragons, if I'm to say anything I'm guessing dragon slayers or those able to use dragon slayer magic." Gajeel said sitting on the ground.
"So they probably have a way around our magic." Wendy said.
"Why don't you just send in a spy?" a small voice said from behind the group. They all jumped and turned to see a cat, or an exceed.
"Who are you?" Lily asked growing.
"Names dragon." He answered.
"What why are you helping us?" Sting asked.
"Because they caught me. or they say. I'm just trying to find friends and they treat everyone either as an enemy or with very little respect." Dragon responded.
"So your what they were yelling about in there about catching a dragon. All just a joke?" Gajeel laughed.
"Well like your friend here I have transformative abilities but mine becomes much scarier. Not to be rude." Dragon said looking at Lily.
"And you mean send in a spy as in send you in to help him get free?" Wendy asked.
"That's exactly right." Dragon said with a smile.
"How do we know you can be trusted," Natsu finally spoke up "after all you came from there."
"Because I am a poor mistreated soul. Not really. I'm not here half the time I have many secret tunnels in and out of here. Yet only someone such as I can pass through it." Dragon acted around.
"And?" Natsu asked.
"I watched you guys during the games. Yet I was also here." Dragon said.
"So what?" Gajeel said harshly.
"So I know how to get your friend out of here and why they want him. And you five. I suggest you all leave and send five others here. They won't bother with ones that can't use dragon slayer magic." Dragon said spinning.
"It's our best option at the time." Carla said.
"Fro thinks so too." Frosch said.
"So what are we doing?" Happy asked.
"I guess we'll trust Dragon for now. But first sign of you betraying us and your dead." Gajeel said. They flew off as Dragon stayed behind.
