Your Highness (Servant! Jyushimatsu x Princess! Reader)

Prologue

-3rd Person-

King Zane was with his queen, Nana, in the throne room going through applicants. They needed help around the estate and with their daughter, even if she was practically an adult, she couldn't be on her own just yet.

Queen Ro'meave let out a sigh "We'll never find workers good enough for this job." She groans before being comforted by her husband. "Now don't fret. It would help if you weren't so picky." He says and she scoffs. "Well I want the best for our princess. She is our only heir and she needs the best." She says before someone cleared their throat.

Both of them look up to see a young man with a red shirt. "Yes? Are you here for the job?" The king asks as the queen stared the boy down. He nods "actually my brothers and I." This peeked the queen's interest. "How many brothers?" She asks and the man steps aside motioning someone to follow. The king and queen were surprised to see a total of 6 identical brothers.

"Well, that's rare. How old are you?" The queen asks and a different one in blue spoke. "We are 18 your majesty." She nods and stands up but doesn't approach. "Names?" The king asks and they nod. "From oldest to youngest; I'm Osomatsu Matsuno." The one in red started and went down the line.

"I'm Karamatsu."

"C-Choromatsu."

"Ichimatsu."

"I'm Jyushimatsu!"

"And I'm Todomatsu."

Now the queen stepped forward taking in each of their appearances. They had minor differences if you looked closely. She got to Jyushimatsu. "Hm. Your voice is loud, but that is a good thing I suppose. You sure love to smile, don't you?" She asks the wife smiling boy. He nods softly "I'm just happy your highness. My apologies." The queen smiled "So polite, no need to apologize."

"Well you all seem fit for the jobs around the estate but I'm not sure when it comes to our daughter." The queen says turning to her husband. He smiles "well then why don't we have her say. After all" he pauses turning towards an ajar door. "She has been watching us the whole time."

The girl behind the door flinched before she was called to come out. So she did, lowering her head slightly as she walked over to her mother. "Now dear, it's up to you. Should these boys work here?" She asked her daughter who lifts her head.

The boys blush at her beauty, but one in particular was blushing hard. The princess looked over the brothers, her eyes pause on Jyushimatsu, before nodding. "They seem perfect mother." She says in an ever so sweet voice. The king and queen nod, turning to the brothers. "Then we welcome you. Y/n, lead them to their rooms. The big one should be perfect for them."

Princess y/n nods and gestures for the boys to follow her. They follow while being respectfully quiet. Until Jyushimatsu sped up to walk with her making the brothers cringe. "Hi I'm Jyushimatsu!" He says extending a hand and y/n glances at his hand before shaking it. "Princess y/n m/n Ro'meave" she says back and Jyushimatsu smiled.

"Oh we already know who you are!" He says and she laughs softly "even so it's polite to give one's name...and I kinda heard your guys names already since I was snooping." She says with a blush. They made it to the room and she opened the door letting them in.

"Katelyn will be by later to give you the proper uniforms." She says from the doorway and tilts her head. "It's cool that you guys are sextuplets. What made you all want to work for the king and queen?" She asks and they looked at one another. "It's for our parents. They aren't doing to well so we thought working under them could make it where we can support them." Choromatsu says and the brothers nod with a sense of determination.

The princess gave a heartfelt smile before bidding them goodnight. As she walked away she ran into Katelyn, her handmaiden. "Hello Katelyn." She greets the blue haired woman "Hello your highness. I was told of the new workers." Katelyn says "I was just on my way to give them their uniforms, your parents sent Travis and Garroth to retrieve their stuff." Y/n nods before inquiring "how are you and Travis doing?"

The girl blushed and looked away. "H-How did you know?" She asks and y/n laughed "I just know these kind of things. I know about you two and Garroth and Laurence." She says proudly. "Right. We're doing well. I'll be by your room later to help you later." Y/n held up her hand "No need. You can head right to bed after you give them their uniforms." She says before walking off leaving behind a speechless, but thankful Katelyn.
