Chapter 4: Bad Feeling

I had decided to head to my room to retire for the night. At the moment I was taking off my jewelry and sliding into my nightgown. When I finally got ready I heard the door open and close. I felt my stomach churn but turned to face the person.

It was Micheal.

I place a hand on my heart. "You scared me. You shouldn't be here. I was about to go to bed." I say and he smiled. "My apologies. I just wished to see you more since we were so rudely interpreted." He says and I furrow my eyebrows. "He wasn't rude. He only asked me to dance." I say and he shrugs walk over. "Whatever. Do you have an idea your suitor?" He asks and I gave a tight smile.

"Well no...I mean no offense to you. I just..I didn't feel anything." I say stepping back to my bed but he steps forward again. "Who do you want to be your suitor? Surely not that servant." He asks and I blush looking away. Big mistake. He laughs "seriously. Him. You know that wouldn't work. And what about your reputation? It would be better if your suitor were someone of high status like myself." He says getting really close.

I try to step back only for my legs to bump into the end of my bed. "You said you didn't feel anything with me?" He asks and I nod getting really scared. He placed his hands on my arms, gripping tightly, I whimper slightly. "Heh. I can change that." He says before slamming his lips on mine.

I gave out a scream but it was muffled. He pushed me back and pinned me to my bed. I squirm and try to push him off. He smirk into the kiss and forced his tongue passed my lips, into my mouth. I felt so sick and ashamed. I gather my courage and bit his tongue. He pulls back and in that small second I let out a shrill scream.

He clamps his hand over my mouth. "You're making this more difficult than it needs to be." He says yanking my nightgown up. I scream out again. Just as he was going to remove my underwear the door was forced open, slamming against the wall. In a flash I saw Micheal get tackled off me and saw Katelyn rush in to my side. She sat me up and led me out, away from Micheal.

Before I left I glanced back and was a little surprised to see Jyushimatsu beating the crap out of Micheal. As I was led out Jyushimatsu's brothers and my parents came to pull Jyushimatsu off a badly beaten Micheal.

-Jyushimatsu's POV-

I was helping everyone clean and was talking with Katelyn. She was very nice, I could see she cared about her job and about y/n. Speaking of y/n. I turn to see her heading to her room and saw that Micheal guy follow soon after. Eh? Why is he still here? And where is he going? I think narrowed eyes and Katelyn noticed.

"Jyushimatsu? What's wrong?" She asked and I hummed. "I have a bad feeling about that." I mumble "who?" Katelyn asks and the feeling worsened. "Brothers!" I yell and they turn their heads. "Can you go get y/n's parents and meet me by her room?! Katelyn follow me." She looked worried and nodded. I ran off with Katelyn close behind.

We weren't far from her room when I heard a shrill heartbreaking scream come from y/n. Katelyn was now full on worried while I run faster. I turn the corner and ran up to her door, ramming into it. Luckily not breaking it. My eyes widen at the scene before becoming a sharp glare as I saw Micheal on top of y/n, hand nearing her underwear.

I run forward and tackle him with all my strength. I sat up on him and beat him senseless. Did I go to far? No, not in my mind. He was planning to take y/n by force. He was going to rape her. So no I didn't go to far but my brothers pulled me off and out of the room. Not before I kicked him though.

When they did get me out of the room I immediately walk up to y/n. Katelyn was holding her close and I saw she was crying. Katelyn looked at me and let me hold y/n instead. I held her close as I watched Garroth and Ichimatsu-niisan remove Micheal from the room and take him away. Y/n clutched the back of my shirt and cried onto my shoulder.

I gently rub her back and whisper words of comfort to her. As everyone slowly left the area only her parents remained. Her father patted me on the back "Thank you. You saved our daughter from what would have been a scarring event. So thank you." He says and her mother nods, stroking her daughter's hair and kissing the top of her head.

I helped y/n to bed and after covering her I went to leave. I was stopped by a hand on my wrist. I turn and saw her look at me with pleading eyes. "C-Can you s-stay here tonight?" She asked quietly and I blush lightly. I smile and nod but I was surprised when she scooted over.

"Y-You can sleep h-here. It would be more comfortable than a chair."

I blush a little brighter "okay." I say and she blushed "you might want to remove the blazer..to be more comfortable." She says and I smile. I took off the blazer, my tie and shirt. Leaving on my pants. I got under the covers and she snuggled closer to me. "Thanks for saving me by the way. I'm forever indebted to you." She says and I pat her head.

"No you aren't. I'm just glad you're safe." She smiled and leaned in close to my face. I froze a bit and she kissed me cheek. As she lays her head on my chest and drifts off to sleep, I lean down to place a kiss on her forehead. With that I fell into a peaceful sleep.
