Chapter 13: Prince of Evil

Silence filled the room and I asked again "How did you know it was under his pillow?" He looked up at me with a grin. "You're a smart girl y/n. I think you know how." He says and I glare at him "you are the one who put it there." He nods and I growl "you placed it there. You are the one who poisoned my mom. You are the one who stole my necklace. And you are the one who caused for Jyushimatsu to be arrested."

He smirked "I'm also the one who told the officers of your relationship." I glare at him as he stepped forward "you really should lock your door." I froze a bit because he was implying that he saw Jyushimatsu with me as we were..oh dear. "I was tempted to tell the officers or your father that he had been forceful and raped you. But I figured that would be too far."

"You are an evil, vile excuse for a man." I say bitterly and he smirked. "You will be mine though." He lifted his hand and it glowed with a green magic "whether you want to or not. Your kingdom. Will be mine." He says before snapping his fingers.

-Katelyn's POV-

I was walking down the hall where I saw y/n clinging onto Ein's arm. I raised an eyebrow and followed them as they walked up to the King and Queen, Osomatsu by their side. I stay hidden behind a wall as they talk.

"We have some great news!" Ein says before turning to y/n "isn't that right dear?" He asks and she nods with a smile. Dear? Why is he calling her that? "Oh? What is it?" Nana said seemingly as suspicious as I was.

"I want to marry Ein." y/n says as she hugged said man. Osomatsu and Nana looked shocked, I was shocked, though Zane looked pleasantly surprised. "That's great! We'll arrange the wedding as soon as possible!" He says and Ein laughs softly "yes we shall. How about in a week?" He asks and I narrowed my eyes. "That's perfect! I'm glad you chose a suitor honey." Zane says and y/n laughs "I am too dad."

"Um y/n? What about Jyushimatsu?" Nana chimes in and I listen in even more.

"What about him? He stole from me and almost poisoned you. No I'd rather be with Ein." My mouth dropped along with Osomatsu's but Nana stays calm. "Well..I suppose you have a point." Nana says before Zane left with Ein to discuss plans.

Once gone I came out and rush over to y/n along with her mom and Osomatsu. "Are you alright?" I ask "what happened? I thought you were going have him leave?" Nana adds "you weren't serious were you?" Osomatsu asks and y/n just smiled but I noticed the smile didn't reach her eyes. "I'm fine. Yes I meant it. I love Ein and want to be with him." Before we could ask anything else Ein calls for y/n. "Coming Honey!" Y/n shouts sweetly before running off.

We stood there very confused and worried. "She wasn't acting like herself." I say and the other two nod "I'm her mother and I've never seen her like that. Something about her eyes seem..off." Nana says and I nod "Could she possibly be possessed or something?" Osomatsu asks and Nana covers her mouth with a gasp. "That could be it. Ein comes from a nation that heavily studies magic and spells. He must have used magic on y/n!" She says and I nod "that's really the only explanation."

If that is the case...I think I have an idea to fix.
