Today is Tuesday...
The day I'll go to the gym for the first time in my life.
I can't lie, I was a little scared, here I am, an average thin boy with only enough muscles to keep my body up. I wouldn't say I'm in bad shape or anything, I walk to school everyday and run faster than half of my class, but I can't lift heavy weights, and if you looked at me, you wouldn't think I was strong enough to push a car on autogear.
Mathias tho, I'm not gonna lie, he looks hot, muscles on both arms and legs, and probably has a sixpack or something.
I couldn't help but be excited when standing outside my school gates waiting for him. I even jumped when Adam called out to me.
- Hey! Ezra! Wanna come home with me and play a video game?
- Umh, no sorry, not today, I have plans... I was tempted, but I figured I couldn't just cancel mine and Mathias' plans just like that.
- Plans? What plans? With Sophia? he sounded surprised, like he didn't believe me, I didn't blame him, I had never had plans before which he didn't know of.
- Oh, no, umh, with... somehow I didn't know if I should tell him.
- With...who? *Gasp* EZRA! Did you get a new friend?! He grabbed my ahoulders and looked at me with big eyes.
- Uuuuh, I guess so...
- Who is it?! he asked.
- Uh, Sophia's brother?
- Wait, Sophia has a brother? he looked confused. - Oh, right, I remember hearing about him, he always ends up in some kind of trouble...
- Yeah, but she doesn't talk much about him, and he's almost never at home, so I only recently met him...
- Oh, how old is he?
- Umh, he's a second year in high school, so, 17?
- Hmm... he suddenly looked a bit concerned. - Are you sure that's ok? Of the little I've heard, he's quite the troublemaker.
- Oh, yeah, I don't know about that, but, he's actually really nice!
Yeah, I realize I don't know much about him, but I can't let people think he's a bad person.
- Are you sure? What are your "plans" with him today?
- Oooh....uuuuh....
Now that, I didn't want to tell him. I was embarrassed. Adam knew I had a chrush on Sophia, but he had a tendency to become...too clingy... More about that later...
- Hm? He wanted an answer.
- Uuuh, just, some hanging out...
- Mhm. He said, obviously wanting more information. But just as I opened my mouth to tell him, Jackson appeared on the road. He was driving a very cool, black and green, motorcycle.
- Yo, Ezra, get on. He said, no, ordered me. It didn't bother me, but it obviously bothered Adam.
- Where are you going? He asked loudly. Mathias then looked over at him.
- Oh, you Ezra's friend? Nice to meet your acquaintance, my name's Mat-
- I know who you are! And I bet you also know that the rumors about you aren't really the nicest ones! Now, tell me where you're taking Ezra! He sounded really mad! I was panicking a little.
- Hmm...I don't think that's any of your business actually. Mathias said with cold eyes.
It was like they were staring daggers at each other, I had to break them up.
- Umh! Sorry, Adam, we have to go, see you tomorrow! Then I hopped on and put on the helmet Mathias handed out to me. Then we drove off. I was excited to be on a motorcycle for the first time, but I was a little anxious about whatever that was back there.
We got to the gym, and I was surprised at how few people was there. Only one guy was lifting some heavy weights, and one woman running on a treadmill with headphones on.
I had only been to a gym once for P.E, but never outside of school. That gym was somewhere else tho, this one was smaller.
- Why are there so few people here? I asked Mathias while we walked to a little spot in the corner.
- That's just because this place isn't as good as the new place. But me and my friends come here to hang out some times, which is also probably why almost no one dares to go here...
He sounded sad, somehow, probably because the rumors about him and his friends make them out to be troublemakers. Honestly, I don't know what to believe, but he's not bad around me, so maybe others have just...misunderstood them?
- Anyway! I jumped in surprise from his sudden shout. - Let's start your training! And from now on, you call me master! He said with a grin. I chuckled.
I really don't get why people think he's so bad...
