*Swipe to right to listen to a nice background song.*So, I know Austin had told me that he would pick me up at 9, but I didn't expect him to be actually on time. I mean, who does that? Anyway, that ended up for him laying on my bed while I finished getting myself ready. And, no, it's not like he has seen me in my underwear, I was only putting on make up in his sight.
"You almost done? It's ten past 9. I want to have drinks with you first before we go to the party." he whines. I roll my eyes at my reflection in the mirror. "Almost. I only need to get my shoes." "Why do you even dress yourself up like this? Or should I ask; for who?" I turn around to face him.
He's laying on my bed with his hands behind his neck. He's wearing flip flops and a white polo on top of blue swimming trunks. On his face he's wearing a smirk."For no one." I make him clear. "Not even for you." I wink at him and give him a hand kiss. He rolls his eyes, but laughs. "Alright, alright, enough with the compliments already." He pushes himself off the bed and stands close to me. "You ready?" He asks. I smile. "Definitely." I answer him. He takes my hand. I take my bag and close the door behind us.
"So, how exactly do we get to the beach?" He steals a glance at me and starts to smirk. "Just wait and see." Oh no. I think I will have to prepare myself for the worst.
"You'll be fine, Sybil." He tells me softly, when he sees my frightened face.A motorbike. He brings us to the beach on a motorbike. His motorbike. "You're kidding? I love motorbikes! I can't ride one myself, nor do I have much knowledge of them but I love them." I tell him excited. Austin looks both surprised as amused. He crosses his arms in front of his chest. "What? So, because I'm a girl I don't get to love motorbikes? It's 2019, you know?" I take one of the helmets that lies on the bike and put it over my head. I wait for Austin to do the same. He takes place on the front space of the bike and I take place behind him. Cautious, since I don't know how Austin's riding skills are, I wrap my arms around his upper body. I let my chin rest on his shoulder and enjoy the ride.
We ride through the woods, which is located just outside the LCBS terrain, and arrive at a boulevard just out of the beach, about 20 minutes later.
I take off my helmet and shrug my hair. "You're a good rider." I compliment him. A smirk appears on his face and I immediately regret saying that. Of course he picks it up the wrong way. The dirty way. He sways his arm around me and guides me further towards the party. "I'd rather ride something else, other than my bike." I give him a glare. "Oh really?" I ask him playfully. "Well, actually, someone else." He whispers and he stops walking. His arm falls off my shoulders. "Is that so?" It is my time now to look at him with a bit of amusement gracing my face. "It is so." He tells me.
Then, when I look into his eyes intensely, I see he's debating about what to do. About if he should kiss me or not. "Let's go." He breaks the silence between us. I nod, slightly confused. His hand takes place on the small of my back and guides me to the entrance. Yes, entrance. Apparently, Lorenzo has rented most of the beach. Or bought, I have no clue. It wasn't until I heard Austin say his name, that I realised that we are already on the front of the line.
"Marcus!" The security guard and Austin hug each other and slap one another on the back.
"Austin! Welcome to the party and who do we have here? I'm not used for you to bring someone along." He winks at Austin, then looks at me. He reaches out for me and I shake his hand. I hear people forming a line behind us by the sound of flip flops kicking sand. "I'm Sybil. I'm new at LCBS." Marcus nods with a smile and he lets us enter the party. "Have fun, Austin and Sybil."Austin places his hand on the small of my back and guides me through the crowd. Yes, crowd. "Seems like Lorenzo invited the whole school." I announce. Austin glances at me with a smile and faces the crowd. "That's typical Enzo. He always invites half the town, plus some people he knows from... well, here and there." He informs me.
"Enough about the guests. Let's dance." He smiles.
He takes my hand and twirls me around. I laugh loud and bump into his chest when I'm done twirling. "Austin?" "Yes?" I shake my head. "Never mind." "Sybil?" I look up and stare in his eyes. "In my eyes you're special, you know that? To one another's maybe not... but to me? To me you're special. Even though I don't know you for that long. You have something special."
"I..." Flashes of Jackson washed over me. I take another deep breath. "I'm not sure..." I try, but I get interrupted by someone who pats Austin on his shoulder from behind me. I look behind me.
