Forever Siblings; come what may..

Chapter Twenty Four

Cornelius takes Ted by the neck. His arm angled around and the other hand holding his hands together. He tilts his face to look at him well. A sarcastic laughter fills the room. Cornelius is acting very cheeky today. He's so aware that he hit when he was least expected. Even Ted's attention was diverted, he couldn't focus on watching his moves. So timely.

"You don't get to play with my family!" He warns.

Like seriously now? Cornelius referring the forever siblings' as his family is something not normal. They might be his children but he has made it known to everybody that the only person he loves is Allie.
You don't -get to play -with my family... Allie mouths in gasps. She too can't believe what she is hearing. Something is amiss somewhere.

Ted tries to disengage himself from his hold but he does not succeed. It was a one in a million calculation. He knew when to hit. "The family you swore to bring down someday. Don't you remember?" Ted asks. The way Cornelius is holding him by the neck is terrifying. If he decides to twist, he will do so without any problem. That would be something.

"Yes, it is the family I swore to bring down... You and I know that I didn't want that until..."
"Until what father?" Allie asks from the corner. She is still lying down, her right hand held on her back. She must have suffered a double hit on the wall. Tears are falling non stop. She is hurt by the sight of Elex and Rene's lifeless bodies. Now she is hearing his father speak of some fucking he -didn't -want -until nonsense.

"Allie sweetheart..." Cornelius begins but he's cut mid sentence by her lovely daughter.

"Don't you sweetheart me. It's already spilt and nothing can be done. Elex and Rene are no more." She is breathing disgust.

"You can't tell me that Allie. You know that I love and have loved you all these years." He tightens his hold on Ted's neck, you would think that would make Allie hear him better.

"No love would justify your hatred to my siblings. Nothing would match that...you made us who we are today, the monsters." For the first time, Allie shows Cornelius that she doesn't care whether he loved her an inch. The hatred he has for the rest of the siblings is unjustifiable. Fact is, Allie is doing all this shitty talking to provoke him to do what he can with her, even if it's ending her life. She has given up. She doesn't see any future. Her life was so intertwined with his siblings and now two of them are gone, or even three if you count Coy in. Life has lost meaning. It lost meaning for her long time ago but she had chosen to live for them. 

"Let him go." She shouts at him. He's hurting Ted.

"He's under me now! He thought himself powerful but he actually isn't. His power is limited to what he foresees coming. He needs to pre-gather it before an event. Now, that he didn't see me coming, because he was concentrating on making a pass with you, right in front of your dead-mental sister, he can do nothing. Every breathe he takes, he owes it to me." He smiles wickedly at him, even though he's addressing Allie.

"It's because of him that your siblings are lying down here breathless- well, it's partly your fault too." He says. Holy shit. Cornelius is the most heartless human being that Allie as ever come accross.

"How heartless are you father? How..."

"Wait darling, I am not finished. It is because of this 'stupid idiot' - he actually is more than a stupid idiot - that your sister became what she became. He introduced her to dark magic - all for his own benefits. Isn't your sister the cause of all this? She truely is. If she hadn't wanted to kill your twin brother, then Elex wouldn't want to do away with her- you now see my point? Besides that, Ted also made me the monster I am today - I ran to him afraid that the police will follow me after I had killed your mother, sweet Percy - then he offered me the idea. He transformed me to be who I am. Now that I am sure I am loosing the battle, I will also use the secrets he told me to bring him to an end. Then you can kill me peacefully, that's after i see his body smoulder to nothing."

Allie's jaws are literally on the floor. She doesn't know what to think or say to his father's words. It is all because of Ted. She opens her mouth to ask a question but her tongue is too dry to connect syllables into meaningful words.
One thing is very clear to her, what Cornelius is telling her is just but the pure truth. She can tell that from his eyes, from his tone, from the hatred in the words... She inhales and exhales deeply. She needs to calm down, she needs to hear him well, she needs to look him deep in the eye and tell him that nothing can justify anything whatsoever.  Tears stop falling and she regains some control.

"Nobody deserves to die in the hands of another!" She says. She would want to run and stop her father from doing what he wants to do but she can't walk. Her back hurts more than she thought.

"True, even Percy didn't deserve to die in my hands. But this young-old man here, he deserves more pain than this." He says digging his claws inside his neck, right on top of that vein. Shit, blood gushes out in bubbles.

"Nooo, that is not the..." Allie attempts but three things happen, one after the other, and the second one almost blinds her.

Someone hits Cornelius from behind, taking him to the floor. Before his body kisses the floor, the person grabs him by the neck and within a twinkling of an eye, throws his head over Elex's body.
Dark grey cool eyes, full of love for her. "Coy!" Allie calls out as soon as  their gazes lock.
"Sweet Allie!" Coy looks down. A stray tear drop falls and he dumbs it off.
Stepping on Ted, he gasps... "This should be end of this battle." He lifts Ted by the right hand, and pushes him to fall at the exact place where Cornelius' body is. You both need to go to hell.
That was so fast, faster than lightening.

He pulls Allie to himself and kisses her forehead. "I am sorry sister, I should have stayed." Allie presses her face on his chest. She can't stop shivering. She can't believe what she saw. She feels safe hidden in his chest.
He tightens his right arm around her and uses the left to pour a liquid on both, Cornelius and Ted's bodies. "I love you sister!" He kisses her tears out. "I love you brother." Allie responds.

"What!" Allie gasps as soon as her eyes land on the two bodies.

"Acid! Let them burn down. They deserve worse than this." He pulls Allie back into his arms and presses his face on his chest. His nose digs deep into her hair... It smells lavender.
