Ben was now sat up against the kitchen door, sobbing into his hands
"So how long were you two up to this?" Ben finally spoke, breaking the hour long silence
"We had sex one time." I merely whispered
"How'd it happen" ben croaked
He looked up at me and my heart shattered. His eyes were bright red and full of agony
"I was drunk. Too drunk to even walk... I didn't intend on it.. I was too drunk to even say no. I don't even remember the most part. I just remember laying there, praying to god he'd get off and leave." I sobbed
"How could you do this to me scar? I fucking love you" ben cried hysterically
"I'm so sorry ben. I never meant to hurt you! I love you so mu-" I began
"No you clearly fucking don't! You have someone else's fucking kid in you!" Ben yelled
"Ben please" I whispered weakly
"No Scarlett. It's done. It's over. I can't be with you knowing some piece of shit's child is growing in you" ben cried.
"No" I whispered but no sound came out.
"Here. I was going to ask you something but I guess you don't deserve it now" ben hissed as he threw a small black velvet box at me.
Before I could speak ben had left.
I opened the box to reveal an onyx and diamond ring with a note that read
"Will you marry me? Tick a box
