It's been two months since I had the twins.
Ben and I still hadn't established where we stood as a couple or as just friends.
It was really pissing me off to be honest.
I sighed as I walked into CJ's room.
He never shut up for me. No matter what I did.
"Come on little man! Help me out here. What do you want" I whined as I rocked him in my arms
His screeching was unbearable.
Suddenly foot steps walked up the stairs and Danny walked in the room.
"Danny how did you get in?" I asked with a light laugh
"Magic" he winked
I just shook my head and laughed
"Give me CJ" Danny smiled
I happily handed the screaming child to him and plopped onto the seat.
"Hey buddy! It's uncle Danny" Danny cooed as he tickled CJ.
CJ instantly shut up and started giggling.
"Danny teach me your secretsssss" I pleaded
"He just loves me. Everyone does" Danny chuckled smugly
"Where's ben?" I sighed angrily
Ben was rarely around for the twins.
"No clue, sorry scar" Danny smiled sympathetically at me
I left Danny with CJ and decided to go shower.
I sunk to the floor sadly after adjusting the temperature.
No one was there for me. I was left alone with three kids, their father was off having the time of his life. He barely saw me or them. I just wish he would at least make an effort. The worst part was some days he'd seem like the good old ben, other times he just forgot about us...
I dried off and decided I needed to go out and spoil myself.
I called Vikki and she agreed to come watch the kids.
Danny left as soon as Vikki came.
They shared a weird eye contact moment before he left.
"What was that about?" I asked as Danny drove away
"Um nothing" Vikki quickly said before looking away
"Victoria Daniels what are you hiding?" I asked sternly
Vikki looked away and shuffled around awkwardly
"Oh my god vik, you didn't" I laughed
"No no no no" Vikki assured herself and me
"You like him. Admit it" I grinned
"Shhhhhhhh" fake pouted Vikki as he covered her blushing face
"Aw vik bless you" I giggled as I ruffled her hair.
After catching up I decided to go on a much needed long drive to get away for a bit
