Today was Monday I quickly send Dianne a text to wish her luck before I headed of to school to set up, The boys were already there so we put the power point on and went into the canteen to get some breakfast. Amy and Chloe knew what we were doing but decided to help with it but not do the assembly because they could not bring themselves to talk about it so they decided to just help with the computer. We were talking for a bit before the bell went we quickly went in and took our places soon the theatre was filling with people my palms begin to sweat but i knew i had to do this for Dianne. Everyone was eventually in and miss Morris introduced us before Jack began. 'My name is Jack and I am a friend of Dianne Buswell. As you may know at this stage in time Dianne is battling cancer' there were a few gasps and teachers looked stunned Amy and Chloe changed the slide and it was a picture of Dianne without her wig and all medication her arms and stomach 'This is a photo sent this morning. She is on her second round of chemo and it started today. We went to see her on her first week and she was not herself at all, she wore a wig to school last week that red it was not her actual hair. The wig was funded by teenage cancer support. I know a lot of people get cancer easy it does not care who you are you will get it. So we decided that we should try our best to help those people and we are going to do a fundraiser, we will have a box outside Mr Williams office the headmaster and you can give suggestions on what you would like to do. We know Josh has decided that he wants to run a marathon so we can cheer him on and we can raise money' i say. 'Dianne does not know about this so whatever you do do not tell her for us' Conor said. 'We are taking ideas now and Oli will write them down' caspar said Oli got out his pen as a few hands raised 'yes' 'maybe we could do a show and then everyone could watch and have to pay like 2 quid to watch it so at least we could get a bit of money' a boy named Luke said. There were a few more hands but not anything good when I got a facetime call from Dianne I looked across at the boys and they nodded I left the theatre while the boys finished of.
