That self doubt, insecurity, lack of self love, and the single question of 'do I deserve this?' is so hard to get past, and I truly saw that in this book.
It's hard to explain such things in books and most of the time authors show that the characters are cured of this torture through love. But it's not always the case. It takes time and a lot of support to get past it. Love does help, but it doesn't cure this in an instant. I really saw that here. This book shows the reality of such people.
