Jack POV

I can't describe how happy I am to know that finally am her friend I wish I could tell her how I feel, the feelings that is growing inside me every day I wish I could just held her hand in school but we are coming to that I know that one day she  will allow me to hold her hand in public and I Swear  I won't let her hand go,  she is mine forever

Joshua noticed my mood but am not telling him till I sort everything with Anna am surely going to show her off in school and everywhere and I want everybody to know she belong to me and I will fight for her at any cost.

Even mum noticed my mood but am not telling anybody I forgot to collect her  number am supposed to call her and ask how she is doing,
Should I go to their house

No what if the parents suspect anything but am supposed to be her friend according to our parents gosh am restless now.

I really want to go to their house I think I have to wait till tomorrow I will collect it at school maybe it won't look somehow I will have to manage myself today and learn to control my  inner self I can't show her how much she affected me I will appear stupid I will have to take it slow,   show her that her presence did not affect me much till I know she has the feelings also, i have heard so much about her I was told she don't have a heart ,  goes out everyday but what baffles me is that nobody knew her  boyfriend but she is very intelligent and now after this year am leaving this school for university I wish I don't have to go I want to stay here but my scholarship last till   university and is a must I choose the university in American I don't want to  go ,  not now that I have found her ,  am not letting her go.

Mum am going over to Joshua house we have school work to do and I will be coming back late.

Okay take good care of yourself and invite your  friend over one day  I need to get to know him mum said

Alright take care mum as I kiss her in the check and rushed out

Joshua  POV

I knew something is going on because why should he cancel our bet just like that I saw how he was looking at her at the car park this morning who give a lady that kind look if they hate her nobody except Jack and that look is pure and sincere I have to find out what is going on because he is my friend and if actually he is already falling in love with Anna I need to prevent it from happening I can't watch my friend suffer because Anna is only going to crush his heart to pieces and give it to him to eat I can't allow that,

  Never I will have to do something to  help my friend.

Jack told me he is coming today I will talk to him and know what actually is happening between them

Talking about the devil ,  he is here judging by the bell ringing I went downstairs to open the door for him

Welcome man come in I have been expecting you since let's go to my room we have to talk before we start working I said

What about your parents ,  are they in he asked

No,  mum will be back soon but for now we have the house to ourselves I replied while looking over my shoulder and saw he is following me

I opened my room and sat down on the bed

He looked around and made himself comfortable in my reading table, am dying to ask him the question because  this is actually a perfect opportunity then why am I mute

Jack I want to ask you something and pls will you answer me   sincerely I looked at him and watched him shrug his shoulder

Why did you cancel our bet I questioned him

He looked at me for some seconds till I hear him

I don't want to hurt her she is a nice person he answered

You and I know that Anna is heartless so how come she is nice now just talk to me I pleaded with him

Okay I like her a lot I don't know if is love but am happy with her and I want to protect her he told me looking at the ground

Jack ,  Anna is going to hurt you she don't have feelings for anybody ,  she don't care for anybody please stop playing with fire pls I beg you am your  friend and I won't tell you lies

Enough pls I have heard you I will be careful with her so can we do our school work pls

Am so going to talk to Anna in school I won't allow her  to hurt my friend I will warn her and if she ever hurt him I will deal with her such that she won't love again and that is a promise.

He left after we finished our work but I can see his mind is somewhere else I need to protect my friend at all cost including getting myself in danger I will do
It because Jack is new in school and don't know Anna very well  there was once a rumor in school that she has killed someone before because of her anger issues I don't know if is true or not  and for that I need to protect my  friend and that I will do
