Chapter 2
January 5th
"I can't believe he did that," Tasha said, still crying in Adam's arms, "he was blaming me."
"Yeah, I know, he had no right," Adam agreed.
Just like Amy, Adam was very protective of Tasha. He had been very protective of her ever since they started dating in year nine. One of the things Tasha loved about Adam was the fact that he was so caring and protective of her. It made her feel loved, even though they had told each other that they loved one another.
"How do you think he found out?" asked Tasha.
"I don't know," replied Adam.
"Wait," Tasha sat up, "you didn't tell him, did you?"
Adam sat straight up as well and looked at his girlfriend, "of course not."
Tasha smiled an apology to her boyfriend. She didn't mean to blame him and he never gave her a chance to doubt him this time. Although in the past he had given Tasha plenty of opportunities to doubt him, this time, he didn't. He was there for Tasha and he was completely loyal to her.
"How do you think he found out, then? If you didn't tell him then who did?" asked Tasha.
Adam ran his hand across his face and he could swear that he knew who told Mr Wilson of Emma's crush, "Isabella," he said.
"Isabella?"
"Apart from me," Adam explained, "she was the only other person who knew about the crush."
Tasha smiled at Adam and gave him a kiss. He was right and Tasha was grateful for that, but she was not grateful for what Adam had done. Isabella had no right to let out a secret that wasn't even hers to keep. It was Tasha and Emma's problem and Tasha was handling it fine before Isabella went and told Mr Wilson about it.
Now Tasha didn't know what to do. She didn't know whether she wanted to be mad or relieved that Isabella told him. Right now, she felt madder at her but she didn't want to be. She wanted to feel relieved but her anger was too much. Now she had no idea what she was going to do.
"Tash, I am so sorry," said Amy as she entered Tasha's room and sat on the end of the bed. And when she was comfortable, she offered her hand for her little sister and Tasha didn't hesitate to hold it tight.
Tasha loved her sister and it felt good to have her comfort. Amy was an extremely caring older sister and she would always look out for her little sister. It was during times like this when Tasha was glad that Amy had now finished university because Tasha needed her sister.
Tasha begun to cry again and Adam wrapped his arm across her shoulder.
"Why would he get so mad at me? It wasn't my fault," she cried.
"First things first," said Amy, "tell me about this crush."
Sometimes, there was one thing Tasha didn't like about her sister; Amy knew everything. But today it was good because Tasha needed Amy to know everything so it would be easier to explain Emma's crush on Mr Wilson.
"Well, I thought it was nothing to begin with because both Emma and Milly were talking about how hot Ian is," Tasha explained. Emily, Milly, was another one of Tasha's university friends and she also knew about the crush. She was also trying to help put a stop to it, "so, I did nothing. I didn't encourage them and then I noticed that Emma's comments meant something more, so I started talking to her. I even told her that he was married to you and you're having his baby, but she ended up telling me that she loves him. I don't know what to do."
