The Concert

The boys wake up the next morning energized and ready to go to the Panic! concert. Sam was the most excited since he's been waiting to see this band for several years.

Too bad he has to kidnap the lead singer afterward.

The boys had until seven o'clock before the concert would start, so they had plenty of time to formulate a plan to successfully kidnap him without getting caught.

...

Hours fly by and before they know it, it's time for the boys to head to the venue. With a plan in the back of their heads, they hop in the Impala and drive half an hour to the outdoor concert.

Once they get there, Dean parks the car in a parking lot close to the venue. The two get out and start walking towards the loud music and bright lights of the stage. It's a few minutes before seven, so the stage crew is getting prepped for the future performances. They head to the box office where they buy their tickets and walk into the venue.

The setting of the concert is massive. Several feet of grass stretch outwards and around the stage where multiple people stand waiting for the show to start. Metal gates encase them along with vendors that sell food or merchandise. The people are acting like drunken teenagers at a frat party: yelling, screaming and throwing shit everywhere. Some of them wait on their phones quietly while others mingle with their friends or other fans, drinking and genuinely having a good time.

The place isn't completely crowded, which is good for their plan, and the boys snake their way into the crowd. They stay mostly towards the back, so they can easily get the hell out of there when the time comes.

Minutes pass by and then the lights dim. The crowd goes into a frenzy and soon the opening act for the show gets on stage. The boys stand there, silently bopping to the music and acting like they're having a good time (Sam is, of course, but Dean would rather jump off of a cliff than listen to this "emo trash").

After about forty-five minutes, the opening act ends their show and gets off stage. The stage darkens, the crowd calming down and doing whatever they please until the concert starts again.

The Winchesters mindlessly make conversation amongst themselves while the stage gets prepped for Panic's performance. Then, the stage darkens again, but this time a timer appears on the stage screen counting down from ten minutes. The crowd, once again, goes into a fit of screaming and yelling. Sam's on the brink of breaking down while Dean looks at his brother with a disapproving expression of 'come on, man, you're a grown-ass adult. get your shit together.'

The ten minutes pass, and the stage goes completely dark again. The crowd starts screaming as if their lives depended on keeping up the volume.

The string and brass instruments come out from behind the stage curtain and stand/sit in their places. The music starts off soft, the string players playing gently and gracefully. Then, the guitarist and bass player, Mike and Nicole, come out on stage and take their place next to their microphones. The music crescendos and bleeds into the intro of the opening song. Brendon then jumps up onto the stage and starts the singing.

"Fuck a silver lining! Fuck a silver lining!" Brendon sings into his golden microphone, the crowd becoming spastic, "Cause only gold is hot enough, hot enough."

During the song, Brendon prances and jumps about the stage as if he's on crack. The fans go absolutely insane and cry out his name. Sam is trying not to go crazy, but he can't help but dance and sing his heart out to the song. His brother only stands there, looking at him with a judgmental stare and studies what he's doing.

A few more songs play, Brendon and the crowd having the time of their lives.

"Hello, Los Angeles!" Brendon speaks in between songs, "How are y'all doin' tonight?"
