Skye pov

Hey I'm Skye and today is a really special day because I'm moving to college yeaaaah. It's gonna be so exciting I can't wait.

Skye's mum: please be safe I love you
Skye: I love you too. And I'll miss you a lot especially you Emely.

Emely is my little 7 years old sister and we're super close since dad has left us. I give her and mum a kiss on the cheek, grab my big suitcase and walk on the campus.

Wow being in college feels awesome. I hope me and my room sis can be besties that'd be so cool.

I breath in and walk to the information place.

Skye: Hello my name is Skye Stuart I'm here to get the keys to my room.
?: Oh of course

The women hands me the keys.

?: your roommate is Daniel Seavey

Wait. Did she say Daniel? Oh no way I think she meant Danielle. Yes that makes way more sense.

I walk to my room which has the number 127. As I open the door I immediately gasp. Just great. I'm in college for 30 minutes and the first thing I see in my dorm is a random guy making out with another girl.

Skye: Ehm sorry? Could you eat each other in your room?

The boy pulls away and looks at me.

Daniel: Actually I'm in my room right now so can you leave please.
Skye: Nope sorry my roommate is someone named Danielle and you don't really look like a girl.
Daniel: I don't know who told you this but my name is Daniel and this is my room for sure.

He holds up his keys which have the number 127 on it just like mine.

I awkwardly hold up my keys too which obviously have the number 127 on it as well.

Daniel looks at me confused.
Daniel: Uhm Kaitlyn can you leave please?
The girl rolls her eyes and leaves the room.

Skye: Let's go to the information place and tell them there's a mistake.
Daniel: Good idea

He stands up and I back away a bit. I didn't notice how tall he actually is but I'm 5'2 so everyone's kinda tall. He looks down at me and smirks.

Skye: we should g-go now

We start to walk to the information lady.

Daniel: Hello I think someone accidentally switched up the roommates.
?: what are your names?
Daniel: Daniel Seavey and-
Skye: Skye. Skye Stuart
?: I'm sorry but there's no mistake. There were no other girls or boys left so we put you in a room together.

I roll my eyes while Daniel looks at me with an annoyed look. Great. Just great.

We walk back to our room in silence. As we go inside the dorm I throw myself on one of the beds. Suddenly someone picks me up and lays me on the other bed.

Daniel: sorry but that's mine.

We continue to just be on our phones until another girl walks into the room. It's a different girl than at the beginning of the day.

Daniel walks up to her and grabs her butt. I look away grossed out. Why is he such a fboy?
I know that he's hot and muscular but his personality is so gross.

What a great start I think to myself.

Time skip

It's been two months now since I've started college and it's already so stressful but I can handle it.

But what I can't handle are Daniels' make out sessions with random girls he met on the campus. It happens nearly everyday and it's pissing me off ugh.
