Ellie pov

I wake up in the middle of the night in horrible pain. My whole body hurts but mostly my stomach.

Weird I didn't even eat something special. Probably a stomach flue. Maybe some water will help.

I turn around and see my boyfriend Daniel sleeping peacefully. Since I don't want to wake him up I leave his room without turning the lights on and walk downstairs into the kitchen.

I can barely walk because my body hurts so much wtf is happening. I limp to the kitchen and sit on a bar chair.

I'm about to drink some water wenn suddenly a wave of pain hits my stomach. I nearly choke on the water and start breathing heavily.

I don't even have painkillers with me and I don't know if Daniel has some at home

Then I hear Daniel walking downstairs. Oh no I woke him up.He walks up beside me and looks at me with his sleepy but concerned eyes.

Daniel: Baby I heard you scream are you okay

I turn to him and shake my head.

Ellie: I don't know why but my whole body hurts especially my stomach

He pulls my head into his chest and lays his chin on top of it while closing his eyes.

Daniel: did you eat something weird
Ellie: no I didn't
Daniel: It will be okay. Let's go to bed again maybe it's gone by tomorrow. And when it wont't stop I'll take you to the doctors don't worry.

He says while kissing my forehead. This alone made the pain a bit better.

We walk upstairs again and into our bedroom when Daniel turns on the lights and I gasp in shock.

Oh no. No. This can't be happening. Theres a huge red bloodstain on Daniel's bed. I'm so dumb I forgot about my period.

Daniel: I think we just solved your stomach pain problem

Oh my god what am I going to do I don't even have clothes to change in with me.

I start panicking. I'm embarrassed but I'm even more scared that Daniel will be mad at me. It happened with my last boyfriend and he slapped me and made me clean it up the whole night even though I could barely walk.

I feel a tear running down my cheek.

Ellie: I'm so sorry I-I forgot I-I didn't mean to I'll clean it up now I-I can leave after if you want I- please don't be mad I can-

Daniel: Ellie I'm not mad at you please stop worrying it's fine really. You don't have to be embarrassed stuff like this happens and you know what it's totally fine. I don't even care about the bed I care about my beautiful girlfriend that's in pain and I don't like that. So take a hot shower while I clean up all of this.

I can't believe what he just said. How can a human being be so understanding and caring?

Ellie: I-I don't deserve you
Daniel: You deserve everything

I'm about to hug him but pull back because I'm scared his clothes will get dirty.

Daniel: Whats wrong?
Ellie: I don't want your clothes to get dirty

Suddenly he tackles me into a tight hug.

Daniel: If I have to choose between dirty clothes and a sad girlfriend I'll choose dirty clothes without thinking about it for one second.

How tf did I get so lucky. Daniel is literally the most perfect boyfriend ever.

Ellie: I love you so much
Daniel: I love you more Ellie

Ellie: I can clean it up too
Daniel: no way I won't let this happen

He picks me up and carries me into the bathroom.

Then he leaves to give me some privacy to shower.

I get a tampon from my bag and do my business.

After that I take off my pants and my shirt leaving me in my underwear and bra when suddenly another wave of pain hits my body.

I scream loudly while trying to hold myself up on the wall when Daniel bursts into the room.

Daniel: baby hey are you okay

He runs up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist.

Ellie: t-the p-p-pain

Daniel: It's okay sit down

He slowly helps me to sit down without letting go of me for a second.

Daniel: It will be okay just try to relax

He starts to kiss my neck and shoulders softly.
I groan. His kisses are the best painkillers ever.

For another 20 minutes we're just sitting on the floor while Daniel draws circles on my stomach and kisses my shoulders.

Then I go into the shower to get myself cleaned up.

I finish and put a towel around me when Daniel comes in with a pair of his sweatpants and my favorite hoodie of him.

Daniel: I put them into the drawer so you can be warm when you put them on.

Ellie: I don't know how to thank you for all of this

Daniel: you don't have to thank me. I enjoy doing this as long as my girlfriend feels better.

Ellie: I feel a lot better. Mostly because of you.

Daniel walks closer to me and pecks my lips.

Daniel: then I am really happy

I peck his lips again before he gives me his warm clothes and walks out again.

I change and immediately cuddle up into his hoodie taking in his scent. The scent that shows me that I'm safe protected and loved.

I walk out of the bathroom and Daniel looks at me in Aw.

Daniel: You are so adorable baby

I giggle while Daniel picks me up and spins me around before we fall on the bed with me on top of him.

Daniel: do you think you can sleep?
Ellie: yes I'm pretty sure

We get under the covers and Daniel instantly pulls me deep into him.

Daniel: do you know what we're going to do tomorrow?

Ellie: nooo

Daniel: watch netflix and cuddle the whole day

Ellie: I'm okay with that I guess

We both giggle and I quickly fall asleep in Daniel's warm arms.
