"I'm sure there are other fish in the sea." Anzu consoles Miho as Honda wildly points towards himself without Miho taking notice.
In one week time she had a run in with rather... interesting characters. One that has been completely obsessed with Miho and hurt her friends to get to her and another that had no interest in her and hurt her friends as he turned out to be a real... ahem. Luckily Yami stepped in to stop them.
"Maybe you're just over romantic. Get your feet back down on the ground and face reality." Jounouchi says uncaringly as he leans his feet on his desk lazily.
"Jounouchi!" Ren scolds. "You can't be so harsh." She wonders if he would think otherwise if Mayumi gave her confession to him before another boy came in and confessed to her, making her ditch that plan altogether. Heh, she was so fickle.
Jounouchi raises a brow. "Don't tell me you believe in that knight in shining armor crap?" he questions, making Ren shake her head as Yugi curiously follows the conversation.
"Well, not so literally, but who knows? Love comes in many shapes or forms doesn't it? So for Miho, it comes in the form of someone who can pamper her rotten and looks dashing like hell." Ren shrugs.
"Ah, it's like that?" Jounouchi muses. "What about you?" he asks, taking her aback. "Me?" "Yeah, what kind off guy is gonna sweep you off your feet huh?" Jounouchi asks.
Yugi sits on the edge of his seat now, looking at Ren expectantly as she thinks it over.
"Well gee, I haven't put much thought in that before...." she muses. "I suppose..." she starts, making Yugi nod as he holds his breath. "I haven't the faintest clue!" she laughs.
"Wah!" Yugi shouts as he topples to the floor, making the duo blink down at him. "You okay Yug?" Jounouchi asks. "F-fine." Yugi stammers, feeling disappointed as he sits back down.
Secretly he has been rather crushing on Ren for a while now and he's happy they became such good friends, but that's also the trouble... How do you tell one of your best friends you like them without ruining your friendship? He's pretty sure he'll never have the nerve to say it and so he tries to stuff away those feelings as best as he can and tries to be the best of friends instead.
Besides, who would want to go out with a short weakling like him? He sighs to himself. He already fears the day that someone is going to come up and sweep her off her feet. He can picture it now....
In his mind he pictures Ren with some guy that is taller, more muscular and older then him, someone who has a better haircut too. He'd lift Ren into his arms, lean down and passionately...
"Oh man. Why are you looking so depressed?" Jounouchi asks, snapping him out of his thoughts. Yugi blushes. "N-nothing!" he quickly answers, waving his arms awkwardly.
Jounouchi smirks. "As if." he states, before turning away, not asking any more much to Yugi's relief.
"Maybe I should ask that Kokurano guy about my fortune... Maybe he can tell me if my love will come soon!" Miho calls in glee.
"Huh, that guy that can predict the future?" Jounouchi wonders. "The one with that army of girls hanging around him all day and dresses all funny?" Ren adds.
Miho nods. "Maybe we can go together Ren-chan and we can find out more about your love life too!" she smiles eagerly, making Ren shake her head.
"Nah, I don't really believe in that fortune telling stuff. I'd rather go with my gut feeling." she says, pointing her thumb at her heart. "Here here." Honda nods. He has been opposed to the idea of fortune telling since Kokurano made a name for himself.
