Prologue - Portal

Earth's Moon, Outside entrance to Unknown Cave
Light - 100
YN-3 Pov

YN: "alright Ghost, what are we doing here?" I say while checking the ammo on my weapons

Ghost: "according to Ikora, there's apparently some Golden Age artifacts in this cave somewhere and we have to retrieve them"

YN: "and let me guess, it's swarming with hive"

Ghost: "yup"

YN: "just another day in the office I suppose, alright, let's go" I say while stepping into the cave

Only a few seconds in and the entrance collapses behind me and envelops the cave in darkness

YN: "ahh.. welp, let's hope there's another exit somewhere, Ghost, a little light please?"

Then the cave gets dimly lit

YN: "really? Okay, lots of light please" I say and the cave gets brightly lit

YN: "thank you, so.. where am I going?" I say advancing in a random direction

Ghost: "umm... Ikora never gave me coordinates for our objective, just.. go.. that way"
He said referring to the direction I'm walking in

YN: "alright, let's hope your right Ghost"

*Timeskip 10 minutes*

YN: "soo.. we have been walking around for about 10 or so minutes, and you know whats strange?"

Ghost: "that there are no Hive in here?"

YN: "exactly, I have not seen a single contact on my motion tracker- what is that?" I say pointing at some sort of Vex construct

Ghost: "Vex portal, but how did it get here?" He says hovering over to inspect it

YN: "hmm I don't know-"
As soon as I get near it the portal opens, I take a step back surprised

YN: "woah, did you uhh.. touch some thing?" I then start walking closer to it

Ghost: "no! It just activated on it's own!"

YN: "Soo.. what do we do? Do we go in it?" As I say that, I ton of screeches can be heard behind me, and my motion tracker goes crazy

I look back and see a ton a hive closing in on me

YN: "ah.. I was wondering where the welcoming party was" I say getting out my auto rifle and firing

Ghost: "looks like we don't have a choice! Jump in!"

I nod as I take a few more shots and turn around and jump into the portal

The last thing I remember was seeing a forest till everything turned black..
