Hey dudes! Yay another book!

Pic I used is completely unrelated... but just look at my precious child! LOOK AT HIM!... Anyways...

Btw might want to keep in mind, ages r different in this AU. Deku is currently 12 and Todoroki is 15, cause why not have a three year age gap?

Hope you enjoy:

My heart is beating fast and the sound is making it hard for me to hear the splashing of puddles underneath my feet, but I feel it. It's making my shoes and socks uncomfortably soggy. I decide to look back only for a second and see the same group of people chasing me. Arms waving in the air, hands holding anything sturdy they could fight with, and feet landing hard on puddles, sending water all around. I turn a sharp corner and head for the woods where I have, I guess you could call it, a hideout.

I let my feet lead the way after all this is just a normal day. Yep, completely normal, or at least it is for me. I smirk as I loose the group in the twisted maze of the forest. I zig and zag avoiding tree after tree until I see a ladder and start to climb. I pull the ladder up and disappear from view. No one can find me now, I know that for sure. I've lived here for three years and I'm yet to be found. I let out a long relieved breath and take out the stale bread that I stole.

I break off a small piece and chew it slowly. I look around the small familiar room that I call my home. There is a contraption you could call a chest where I keep my food, and there's a small uncomfortable blanket laid out on top of a small uncomfortable cot in the opposite corner. I have a small area, not exactly a room, right next to it where I can move a few branches and leaves to show a small circular area. There is a tiny but decently thick branch that reaches across the cut out place, and a small red dragon that's peacefully snoozing, not a care in the world. I smile as I place the bread in the chest and walk over to my dragon friend. I sit down on the thin cot in a crisscross position. I take off my big red shoes and my dripping socks and lean against the unpolished and ruff wall.

I can make the bread last a few good days but then I'll need to head back out. I stretch out my legs and arms which are sore from running through the mud. I look in my small bag and take out a few more wanted posters. I like to hang them up as a reminder, I guess. A reminder that I am no longer a part of this community like I was a few years ago. Well at least that's what the posters were to me at first but now I guess it's just a normal part of my life, like running away from anger store merchants and knights. I feel like laughing as I realize just how lucky I am that I'm fast.

I sit here a few minutes trying to relax a little bit, but knowing that later I'll have to head back out to refill my water from the lake keeps me pretty tense. I'll see if I can catch any good fish there, that would be nice. Seikatsu loves fish and I bet she's growing tired of eating berries. They're sweet and juicy and most importantly free, but when you eat them everyday for most of your meals and snacks you can get sick of them pretty fast.

I wait an hour before I decide to shake the sleeping dragon awake. "Hey Seikatsu wake up." She lets out a snort that steams a bit, meaning she's awake. "I'm gonna go to the lake and try and get some more supplies. Maybe some fish." I say the last sentence in a teasing way knowing this will get her up. Her yellow eyes open in a sudden movement and she sits up. She unfolds her winds, stretching them out well, before tucking them back, and then yawns and leans forward stretching outwards like a cat. I put my, now dried, shoes and socks back on and grab a few left over berries. I uncurl the ladder letting it fall to the ground. Because Seikatsu is coming with me, and I don't want anyone getting in while I'm away, I unhook the latter and roll it up in my bag.

I take the long way to the lake as Seikatsu rests lazily on my left shoulder. The sun has come out a bit and the spring breeze feels nice on my face. I look around at the meadow and find a few more blackberry bushes along with the fruit Seikatsu likes, I don't know what it's called. I pluck some berries from each separating them into medium sized containers. I eventually arrive my bag full of dandelions, berries, and other edible plants. I look down at the small lake and watch the blue water ripple and move with the wind. I grab Seikatsu and set her down on the field and she starts rolling around in the long grass. She's so cute that I can't help but laugh at the adorable scene in front of me. I crouch down and fill the water bottle full of fresh water. I decide to take a seat and relax underneath the sun's warmth. I untie my long hair from its ponytail and shake it loose so it flows down my back in green curls and waves.

I start munching on my berries when I hear something rustling around. I stand straight up and turn in the direction of the sounds. I move my hand to my side ready to pull out my sword if needed. Eventually I see something moving and am surprised when a human emerges from the woods. He has short red and white hair spilt evenly down the middle. I can't see too much else, he's too far away. Without averting my gaze I lay back down into the grass and grab Seikatsu who seems a little mad about this. I put my finger over my mouth signaling her to be quiet. I am on the opposite side of the lake so if I hurry I can probably get out of sight before he sees me. I watch him as he awkwardly sits down on a rock. I quickly jump up from my hiding spot, Seikatsu following behind, and sprint away trying to get back into the safety of the familiar trees when I can just barley hear him shout something.

"Hey! Wait!" I don't look back, I continue running. I don't have time to navigate back to my tree house and since this route is still unfamiliar for me I don't feel safe running back on pure instinct and memory. I realize I've stopped walking while lost in such deep thought when Seikatsu slightly digs her talons into my shoulder. I yelp but soon look around and finally see the guy coming my way. I snap my head back and forth scanning for something to help me. I mentally face palm when I realize I could just climb a tree. I choose one and hastily make my way up. I pull my dangling legs up onto the tree's branch so he doesn't see them. But I guess he must've saw the slight movement because he looks up at me. He's a few yards away when our eyes meet and I see he has a gray one and a turquoise one.

"Why were you running away?" He questions. His voice is unnaturally cold and it makes me want to retreat further into the tree. "And who are you?"

So, u like?

Fun fact about the book, cause why not?:

I was inspired by the pic I'm using for the cover. I saw it while looking for pics for my other book and immediately thought of the idea for the book.

Well then, hope ya have a good day/night! ^w^
