Chapter 5! Yuuuur!! (I don't know)
I looked at my hand which was connected to Deku's. She was squeezing it while dragging me behind her. We weren't exactly running anymore, just speed walking, but she was taking the lead, guiding me to an unknown place. Somehow the feeling of warmth radiating off of her hand made my cheeks flush.
I decided to focus on something else and tore my attention away from our hands, and towards the lush forest surrounding us. Crooked trees branches out all around us, causing he area to darken slightly as we walked further into the dense forest.
Vegetation was everywhere around us, even in our path. It wasn't really a path though, but Deku seemed to know where she was. After taking in a small amount of the scenery, I looked up expecting to see the clear blue sky above us, but instead I saw bright green leaves, along with a few dead ones, swaying around in the light wind. They were illuminated by the sky and practically glowed.
I continued looking up until the sound of a branch breaking under the force of something unknown caused me to snap my head into the direction it came from. I saw something move in the darkness of the forest, which was spotted with light that shown through the thick branches.
Everything was so beautiful and breath taking, and as the forest started to loose it's density we slowed. Then when I looked at the scenery in front of us my breath seemed to stop.
Ahead was a waterfall harshly flowing down a mountainside into an unbelievably blue lake. Damp plants grew up from the rocks that made the cliffs sides, and they hung from the side. Many trees were surrounding the area. Everything seemed to glow a vivid green. The sound of water splashing into water was calming, and I watched the mist that was being produced.
"Amazing..." I whispered unknowingly.
"I know." Deku's responded, ending the conversation.
After that we sunk into a comfortable silence. Our eyes took in every inch of the landscape. Without waking from my trance, I walked over to a rock and sat down. It was damp and covered in moss but I didn't mind. Deku soon followed and took a seat next to me.
I looked over at her, she was defiantly less fazed by the waterfall. She smiled to herself as a few questions arose in my head.
"How long have you known of this place?" I asked dreamily.
"Almost my whole life." She answered quietly, looking down into the water that was a maybe a yard away from us.
"Your whole life?" I repeated, making it a question. "And you never told me?" I asked playfully.
"No..." She said guiltily, maybe she thought I was mad. I wasn't though, she should know I wouldn't get mad at something as trivial as keeping something like this to yourself.
She continued after a moment of silence. "It's like my own haven, y'know? I go here when I feel negative in any way, and it always cheers me up. It has a way of relaxing me, and probably most people. I just wanted to keep this one place a secret from everybody, even you. It feel like I'm being selfish, but I wanted to keep my secret place a secret. I want it to be mine and mine only. But right now, I'm okay with sharing it with you."
"Yeah, I can understand that." I said agreeing to the first part, and unsure of what to say about the last. I then watched as she nodded, watching a fish that was swimming around in the crystal lake.
There was so much to look at right now, but I focused on Deku. She seemed so happy, by the way she relaxed and smiled warmly at everything, she looks at home. Watching her act like she was at peace here made me feel so happy, and a uncontrollable smile grew onto my face. I closed my eyes and finally turned away to look at the the surrounding areas.
Everything here was so beautiful, including the small green fifteen year old sitting next to me.

We walked back maybe an hour later. I was disappointed, but I knew we had to leave because the sun was starting to lower, making the sky an orangish-pink. We walked back to the meadow side by side, hands brushing together ever once and a while, for an unknown reason I was tempted to grab her hand in mine, but I resisted. Soon we were by the edge of the lake and it was time to say goodbye. I walked a little bit in front then turned around and looked down to face Deku.
"Bye Deku." I said tenderly.
She looked up smiling at me, eyes closed and whispered, "Bye." I felt bad, she seemed so sad I don't know if it was because I was leaving, because soon I wouldn't have time to hang out with her, or if it was completely different reason.
Without really thinking I leaned down and wrapped my arms gently around her, placing my cheek next to her ear. I felt her tense from the unexpected hug but soon she nuzzled into my neck a little bit, wrapping her arms around my stomach.
We stayed in each others embrace for a while longer, before she loosened her grip and hung her arms by her side. I got the hint and pushed myself away from her as well, ending the hug.
She brought her hand and wiped away the streaks of tears running down her faces. I looked down, unsure of what to do in the situation. What do you do when your friend is crying?
I decided instead of staring at my shoes, to my hands and cup her head, wiping away her tears with my thumbs. "Don't cry." I whispered. She nodded a few times.
I pulled her into quick hug again. Once again she buried her face into my neck. Cute. Suddenly realizing what just crossed my mind, I felt my cheeks warm and turn red.
A few minutes later she pushed away and turned around, starting to walk away. With a glance back, she waved a goodbye, a smile planted on her face, tears still running steadily down her cheeks.
I watched her walk away before deciding I really needed to head back, it's later than normal, and I could get scolded. I head back and hastily make my way back home.
Soon a red headed friend approaches me, his hair is tied up with a simple white head band. "Bro! You've been gone for hours! I was worried sick! Normally your back later than this." He says panic clear in his voice, as he adjusts his sword, which hangs by his side.
I quickly and emotionlessly say, "sorry." And started heading to my room. Kirishima follows behind me, acting as my bodyguard. I am able to make it to my room without anyone catching me. I push the large doors open and step into my room, which unfortunately holds a few maids. They drop what their doing and the lead maid, Uraraka, runs up to me.
"Oh my god. Your covered in dirt!" She practically screams.
"I know, I'm fine." I walk past her.
She turns around facing my back. Then says, "We've got to get you into the bath prince Shoto!"
"Fine." I reply.
