Taking off my boots and socks I let my feet feel the cold floor. I close my eyes and breath in and out. Once I reopen my eyes I turn off the lights of the kitchen and walked towards my room. The light under what has become of her new room is off and I opened my door letting myself in without closing it after. I put my boots back to where they belong. My layers of clothing are pealing off my body and I walk to my bathroom turning on the lights, blinding myself for a couple of minutes. I start the shower for it to get warm at it's own pace. I step in letting the water tickle my numb senses, the warming water made me feel welcomed in to the world that surrounded me. For a short period of time before going back to being numb. I shut off the water and walk out grabbing my towel and drying my body. I wash my teeth and walk out the bathroom with the towel around my waist. I notice the door is open so I close it. I continue walking and put on underwear and long pj pants. The air felt cooling and yet warmth. I towel dry the rest of the water upon my hair. And went to bed. All darkness came upon my sight and before I even realized I went into a dove like sleep.
