Dany's POV

Winter is coming.
That was my only thought as I drove to Walmart. It was freezing outside and all I wanted to do was curl in my bed and binge watch Game of Thrones, but of course there had to be no junk food for me to munch on. So now here I was on my way to Walmart in my 'A girl has no name' T-shirt, fluffy bottoms, and uggs.

As you can tell my parents are big fans of Game of Thrones. Ever since the first book was released they were addicted to it. They loved it so much they decided to name me Daenerys. I got a lot of weird looks as a child and learning to spell it was hard work for a four year old. But as I grew older and could finally watch the tv show, that had taken over my parents, I immediately fell in love. I swear it ran in the family. I read all five books in one week. And then actually watched the tv show.

As I drove I realized it had already started to snow. It felt like the rate at which the snow feel grew exponentially every second that went by.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I did not notice the stoplight turn red. I slammed on the break causing me to bump my head on the steering wheel.

"Fuck!" I yelled as I winced in pain. I lifted my head up to see I had hit a car. Well not really hit it just kinda slammed against it. My eyes widened as I realized it wasn't just a car but a police car.

"Shit no" I mumble to myself as I saw the officer get off. I'm screwed.

"Ma'am please step out the vehicle" I contemplate if I should just step on the gas and make a run for it, but that would probably not help my situation right now, right?

I mentally curse myself for being so distracted. In my defense the streets were all empty because there was a big storm forecasted in the afternoon. Which reminded me that I should go to Walmart quickly and get everything I need before it starts. Now this will probably make me get stuck in the storm.

Finally I step out of the car. Once I am out of the car I am greeted by a chest. The police officer takes a step back and i look up to see a handsome man.

Damn, if only I hadn't just hit his car maybe I would've asked for his number. I hardly bumped into good looking officers. Not that I bumped into them a lot.

"I- I am really sorry. I got distracted- wait I probably shouldn't have said that. I was actually on my way to the store but the storm shouldn't take long to hit us and I need food. If not how am I suppose to survive if I get trapped in my home without food. Oh my god! What if I get trapped here now because it's-"

"Ma'am will you please calm down" the police officer stopped my rambling. Thank god before I embarrassed myself even more.

I slammed my lips together and watched as the officer observed me. As he seemed to contemplate on what to do with me I took the chance to. glance at his name tag. His last name was Barone. I've never heard that last name before.

"I'll need to see your license"

"Umm, yeah" I replied awkwardly. I began to turn towards my car but then realized he might think my intentions were to run away so I turned to face him again.

He stared at me and I stared back.

"Ma'am your license" he demanded.

"Oh, yeah" I said. I pointed back to my car, "I'm just going to get it from my car." I turned towards my car and then turned back to look at him, "Don't think I'm trying to run away." His lip twitched upwards but he quickly straightened up again. I grabbed my wallet and took my license out and handed it to him.

"Daenerys Thea Abele"

"How do you know my name?" I asked stupidly. An amused smile came onto his face as he flipped my license over for me to see. I made my mouth into an o shape and blushed at the embarrassment I had just caused myself.

"Nate" a voice startled me. I turned and saw that there had been another police officer with him.

"Yeah?" I turned back to look at the police officer in front of me, who I assume is Nate, that is still staring at me as he answers.

"Both of the cars are fine"

"Wait in your car Daenerys" Nate commanded.

I nodded slowly and made my way back into my car. When I finally sat down in my car was when I realized how cold I was. I took in my surroundings and saw that the ground was covered in a thin layer of snow. I slammed my head on the steering wheel. I wouldn't be able to go to the store. By the time I made it to the store it would be to dangerous to drive home.

A knock on the window startled me and I looked up to see Nate. I rolled down the window.

"Yes, Officer?"

He leaned over so his arm was resting on the window and handed me my license. "Be careful, next time you might not bump into someone as nice as me."

I smiled relieved, "Thank you so much."

"This is thinly time I'm letting you off. If I ever bump into you again I won't be this kind."

I nodded, "Don't worry officer this will be the last time you see me."

Little did I know that those words were a lie.
