Chapter 2: Fight

Dany's POV

It had been a week since the big storm. Now all the streets were clear and it was safe to go out. My friend, Mia, and I decided to finally go out. Winter break was almost over which meant my second semester in college was about to start.

"I thought Jason was coming with us" I said as I go into her car.

She rolled her eyes, "I thought the sane thing until he called this morning and canceled on me."

"Are you guys good?" I clipped in my seatbelt and turned to face her. Mia was a really beautiful girl. She was 5'3 with a curvy figure. Her hair was light brown and had really soft features.

She sighed heavily, "I thought we were but he has been acting weird lately. Maybe its just all in my head and I'm overthinking."

I offered her a small smile, "Maybe you are. Lets just enjoy today and have fun."

"You're right" she agreed.

We decided to go to a book store and then to the movies.

I looked through the shelves and found the perfect gift for my sister. This year she is turning 24 and I plan on getting her 24 small gifts. The main gift would be this magna series that I knew she loved.

"Did you find what you were looking for?" Mia asked.

I nodded. After paying we left the books in her car and walked towards the movie theatre. The movie theatre was located next to the book store. We walked straight to buy popcorn. We bought the big tub because we both were big eaters. I grabbed a large slushy. Mia carried the popcorn and candy.

"I really hope this movie is good" Mia said.

"I know, the last movie we s..." I stopped talking as a couple caught my attention. They were making out in front of everyone. The guy was rubbing all over the girls body.

"What are you looking at?" Mia asked as her eyes followed mine.

"Eww, whenever you get a boyfriend never do that in public" Mia said disgusted.

"I get public affection, but that's on a different level"

"I'm glad Jason never does that to me in public."

We were about to continue walking when I recognized the guy.

I gasped softly, "Is that..." my voice trailed of not being able to finish the sentence.

"Is it who?" Mia questioned looking at me.

I continued to look at the guy and sadly my suspicion was confirmed. The guy was Jason.

"Mia, try to stay calm. I think that guy might be Ja-"

"You little shit!" Mia's yelling cut me off. I watched in shock as she stomped over to Jason and the mysterious girl.

"Mia" Jason said shocked.

"Who is this little girl babe?" The red head asked as she placed a hand on his chest.

"Babe?" Mia mocked.

The redhead stepped forward. She was pretty tall but Mia did not coward back. Another girl came to stand next to the redhead.

"Stacey, is there a problem?" The girl asked.

"Yeah, this little girl is talking to my boyfriend." The redhead, whose name is Stacey, said.

"Your boyfriend?" Mia scoffed. "Actually, you're right. He is your boyfriend. Who would want a piece of trash like him?"

"Mia, you're going too far" Jason said.

"No, you went too far with this clown" Mia motioned towards stacey.

"What did you call me?!" Stacey yelled.

"Te dije payaso, pendeja" Mia spoke in Spanish and I was only able to recognize one of those four words. And that word was not a good one. It was never a good sign when Mia spoke Spanish.

I walked towards Mia and stood besides her. "Lets just go Mia, they aren't worth it."

Mia nodded and we were beginning to walk away when the dumb redhead decide to make a comment, "Thats right run away with your skinny friend." I closed my eyes praying Mia had not heard.

Mia pulled her arm from mine and walked towards Stacey and hit her with the tub popcorn. The tub came in contact with her head and the popcorn spilled all over the floor.

"You bitch!" Stacey yelled as she removed her hair from her face. Stacey grabbed her friends drink and through it towards Mia but she slammed it down with her hand causing the drink to only spill on her feet. I walked towards Mia and she took the slushy from my hand and through it at Stacey. All the slushy spilled on her and she cried as it stung her eyes. Mia took the chance to grab her by her hair making her arch her back so her head was at Mia's level.

"Don't you ever dare talk about my friend like that again."

Before I realized what was happening they were both on the floor fighting for control. I looked up and made eye contact with Stacey's friend who came for me. Before I could process what I was doing I grabbed her by the hair and we both fell together fighting.

As I sat on the hard bench I realized I never expected myself to end up in this place.

"I'm sorry Dany" Mia pouted.

I sighed, "It's okay, just get your brother to get us out."

She nodded and came to hug me, "I called him already. He will have us out in no time."

The fight at the movie theatre was broken apart when the police came. They had arrested Mia, Stacey, stacey's friend and I. They had taken the other two girls to a different cell since Mia and Stacey did not stop arguing.

"I never thought I would be here."

"Think of it as a once in a life time opportunity" Mia said with a bright smile.

I glared at her causing her smile to vanish.

"I'm really sorry Dany. I would've walked away but I couldn't let her talk like that about you." Mia has always been protective of me. She knew I had a complex about being skinny.

"I know, what would I do without a friend like you?" I asked.

"You would be bored to death"

I nodded agreeing.

"Daenerys Thea Abele" A familiar voice said. I stepped forward in the cell and saw the owner of the voice.

"Oh" I said softly as I made eye contact with him.

"I thought you said I would never see you again" the handsome police officer said.
